Max MRI imaging

Had to challenge the accuracy of the MRI report. A review showed a missed tendon tear that was found by my Doctor. An addendum after my complaint was added to the report identifying the tear. I would have chose a different course of care if the original report was accurate. Wasted my money and time. I did get an apology of sorts. I will not go back to Del Mar Medical Imaging and will avoid any place using Priya Patel MD as the reviewer.

We called around looking for a deal on an MRI and a place to do regular business with because they are expensive and I need a lot of them. We were told by this company that they would be able to do an MRI for $ 240 out of pocket cost. I went to get the MRI. They had an older machine which I was ok with since they were giving us a good deal. When I was done, I asked the woman at the counter if I could pay them in cash or whatever method she preferred. I was told that billing was the only option. I later got a bill for $ 340. When we asked the company why we were quoted $ 240 and then charged $ 340, they didn’t seem to understand that they should honor their quoted price and talked in circles to us. they asked why we didn’t pay at the time of service, which I tried to do. Their explanation was that the representative was not capable of giving a quote. Their quote is why we went with them in the first place. They have old equipment, will overcharge you, will not honor their quoted prices, and the lady at the counter was very sick. I would not recommend getting your MRI here or choosing to engage in business with them at all.
