Love this gym. Been going here for a year, even after getting a membership at another location. Sometimes going on base is easier since it is smaller and as long as you come at the right time, most of the equipment is pretty accessible. Cleanliness is something that everyone is aware of (thank goodness). Only downside is when it gets full. it’s insanely packed! D;

If you like weights, you’ll like this place. This has quite a selection of weights from free weights to weight machines and classes. If you’re looking for cardio, they have your typical bikes, stair masters, etc.
I love coming here and getting my lift on. If you’re a girl and you lift, be aware that it’s mostly young male marines lifting and that can feel a little awkward, but don’t let it deter you, just go before work instead of after. You’ll have less people around and more access to the weights.

My second favorite gym on base. You got your multiple cardio equipment, a decent size gym floor, a secret lifting room in the back called the big house that’s filled with bumper plates. The gym also includes a basketball court (indoor/​outdoor), a ¼ mile track, and more. Be careful on the time you go unless you don’t mind the insane crowd around 1130 — 1300 and 1700 to 2000. Sorry patron’s no more saunas, you actually have to exercise to lose weight. WHAT A CONCEPT!

this gym is alright. it has pretty much all you need and it gets the job done. the equipment is a little old, but like i said it gets the job done! there is ALOT of equipment crammed into their weight-​lifting area. and this place can get packed pretty quickly with all the marines here, so i would avoid going during certain times if you’d like to avoid having to wait to use something while you’re working out.
the best thing about this gym is the basketball court! very well maintained as the court floor is never dirty or dusty. if you’re a hardcore baller you learn to appreciate things like that when you come across them. lol that’s an extra star just for that reason. 4 stars

The military encourages fitness, that’s not a secret. This place offers something for everyone.
Wide selection of cardio equipment. There is a 30minute limit on cardio machines if other patrons are waiting, but i’ve been here a few times and it never gets too packed. I can complete my 45 minute workout without having to get off. Weights and free weights available.
You can play basketball, racquetball and volleyball. And the outdoor facility offers tracks for running and fields for softball, etc.
Staff are friendly. Good central location on base.

This place has definitely improved since my last review. Broken equipment are being repaired much quicker.
The warped floor is no longer warped, so it’s not a trip hazard anymore.
They continue to offer free classes and free physical health assessments such as blood pressure analysis and body fat content analysis.
This place does it’s best to provide as much programs and equipment possible despite having limited funding.
Keep up the good job… and I’ll still continue to come here as often as I can.

Went here with my mom, dad and sister last Sunday–
lots of eye candy (it’s a MARINE gym… hello?) and the guy at the desk (Karun) was pretty cute. Too young for me, though.
I told him about Unilocal,and he might be joining us. *smirk*
They were playing «Pretty Woman» on one of the TV’s, and the
closed captioning was super whack.
i.e. Instead of saying «Let her get whatever she wants»
it said «Letch hem gets whicheee shim wham»
BWAHAHAH. Oh well. Can’t get everything right. :D
