I have come here at least 6 or 7 times late at night and they are only accepting cash which then I have to drive down to Jack in the Box since I only have my ATM card. Once I gave them cash and they brought me change from the back without even going through the register which makes me think that they are selling items and pocketing the cash. I go by there tonight through their 24 hour drive thru at 2:30 in the morning and they say they are closed for the next 30 minutes. Not worth the drive over here especially if you don’t have cash.

DONOTGOHERE!!! I pulled up to the drive thru at 2AM. Took about 4 minutes before a real person acknowledged me. I asked for a McDouble and was scolded that only breakfast was being served at this time. The menu only showed the lunch/dinner options so I asked for the prices of some of the breakfast items since the menu did not display these. The teller quickly got hostile and then told me to «FUCKOFF». I will never return to this McDonalds ever!

4 stars? Not for the over salty fries or the tasteless chicken nuggets, but their South west chicken salads. I’ve eaten at McDonalds like forever, mostly the burgers and fries, but now older and more health conscience, nice to know they a have a chicken salad, but a salad that rocks. Cheap too, $ 5.79 and without the chicken, only $ 3.50 at this location. This salad had roasted corn and beans, spring mix greens, shredded real cheese, spicy thin corn strips for a added flavor and crunch and a lime slice. Chicken is either grilled or crunchy battered, can’t go wrong with either, but I go for the grilled since it will be under 600 calories for the whole salad. I usually have it with the Paul Newman South West dressing, excellent. A salad Bobby Flay would be happy with.

I went back to get my order fixed(McGriddle was missing egg and MEAT!) and she took my buns and came back with another wrong sandwich after I explained it again. I tried to explain to her a 3rd time and she got mad, rolled her eyes and said«you need to be clear next time» and walked away. ME?! BECLEAR?! And these are the employees that complain about wanting $ 15hr. You don’t even deserve what you get. The wage for customer service workers should depend on their ratings. I wouldn’t mind being required to rate them if that meant judging their pay. I was even extra nice and repeated myself because it was obvious that English wasn’t her first language. I love all people and would never put down someone but if you can’t handle customers, you don’t need to be in customer service. No matter how easy the job is. The biggest part is the customer. I wish they’d bring«Under Cover Boss» to the Linda vista McDonald’s and fire each one of those rude employees. They better learn to act right. That’s not the area to be poppin off at customers… You’ll catch the wrong person one day.

As a kid, McDonald’s was one of my favorite places to eat. Happy Meals were my favorite thing to get. Now that I’m older, I realize that Crack Donald’s is okay. The food is not great, not good, not bad*, just okay. Who am I kidding? *It can be bad at times depending on what you order. I have to say though that I do like the fries from Crack Donald’s. So I came here today because my god daughter wanted an ice cream cone. We had just left Ikea, but she didn’t want one from there because«it tastes funny». So we were near Crack Donald’s and she wanted one from here. Customer service was good, the cashier was very nice. I agree with my god daughter… the ice cream cone here does taste better compared to Ikea’s.

I went to get breakfast for my family and myself. I got the breakfast platter. I started eating my sandwich and I bit on something hard. I spit it out and I found this paper. Not only did I find this but the workers were really rude I asked for ketchup and they just gave me rude look. Needless to say, I’m never coming back to this place again I’ll drive a little further next time(this is not the first time I deal with their unprofessional staff)

You can tell how excited the night crew was about breakfast all day because they burned the egg mcmuffin and cheered unprofessionally about how they don’t have to serve hash browns. They also talked about how no one was wearing the head set to answer drive thru orders and they have no organization. And the guy taking my order was very rude. If you’re not a night person, don’t work the night shift. Please get new workers or supervisors at the very least.

Watch out for those Hispanic girls working graveyard shift. The fat girl took my order and made me wait 10 minutes while talking to her friend and eating their fries and when I got my food it was stale. Not what I expected for a 10 minute wait

Just had the worst experience with 1 of the managers Kim, she argued with us & was very rude. She messed up on a vanilla shake & blamed us, we didn’t want the whip cream. It was a bad scene & almost like a yelling fest. I do not recommend this Mc Donalds. Horrible!

I used to come here all the time for the BUCKET of fries(it’s a supersized soda cup that they fill with fries). It used to look worse than this but they renovated it and made it into a McCafe sort of Mcdonalds and it looks much nicer. I also love the iced sweet tea. It is the closest McDonalds to my house and it has good fries, so I go for it. I wanted a fries, but the cashier heard«ice», so she charged me for the cup. But she remedied it by just charging me for the medium and then giving me a large fries. I didn’t bother to do the math because the difference probably isn’t worth worrying about and I wasn’t in the mood to argue, so I let it go. It was probably because I charged it to my credit card and in order to do a refund, she would have had to call the manager over or something. I don’t know, but it did seem like she could care less. She was nice afterwards, though. It’s McDonalds, so I don’t expect much of customer service because they are probably being paid so little. There is still a playground for the kids, I think. But there aren’t any condiments lying around for people to take at their own accord: you’d have to ask for them.

I can honestly say the worst McDonald’s in San Diego. Every visit I’ve had with this location has been an issue. Today I visited and purchased drinks, food and ice cream. I wanted to get the a couple orders of the $ 1 chocolate sundae but they were out!!! This would be the second time. On top of that they wanted to charge for an 1 bbq sauce? 10cents? I purchased food! And already paid. They were trying to get me to charge my card or break a $ 20 bill for a 10 cent sauce!!! I had to haggle with the manager for 5mins for a free damn sauce. The employees have a bad«I know it all» attitude and get orders wrong consistently. This will be my last visit at this location, I will drive across town to the nearest one whenever my 4 year old wants a treat. TIPTOTHEOWNER: It’s understandable that you do not want to give a bunch of free sauces to the crowd of homeless people that are always at your restaurant but if a paying return patron wants 1 sauce and doesn’t want to break a larger bill, give them a break!!! 10 cents ain’t gonna break you sweetheart! 0 stars for you, unfortunately 1 is the lowest I can give!

I would give this a big ZERO if I could but it won’t let me. This is hands down THEWORST McDonald’s I have ever in my life been too! The food is average on a good day, the place is completely filthy, and the staff is rude and unprofessional. I have attempted to go there 3 times now and every time is worse then the last time. The staff won’t even look you in the eyes, let alone greet you or say hi, goodbye or thank you! I have written customer service and written the management about the incredibly rude staff(on multiple times) and have gotten no response in return. I asked to speak to a manager today and he kept making excuses as to why the person in front of me was allowed to order a kids meal(hamburger/fries) at 10:26 but why I was told I couldn’t and could not hold up the line to wait for«their computers to turn to 10:30» at 10:28 because their computers won’t allow them to switch from breakfast to lunch before the due time, after I said I would wait… AND they let the lady in front of me order! After I ordered BREAKFAST the lady literally threw the ketchup in the bag after I had to ask for it. I proceeded to complain and ask for the manager. The manager just made excuses and was also rude. an «I’m sorry» really goes a long way and what happened to the customer is always right. toss that saying out the window. This will not apply here. I would be scared to go back for fear of retaliation on my food or something crazy. I really can go on and on and I am not sure why I have punished myself by going there the amount of times I have but it is close to my house and obviously if I’m eating crap food then I am being lazy… It’s a shame I have to find something further away. I really didn’t know that service could be this poor. I highly recommend you staying FARAWAY from it! Thanks Linda Vista McDonald’s for saving my pocketbook and waistline! Will never go back again!

This location still has the $ 1 menu(i’ve seen others get rid of this). My group got a few McChickens for $ 1 each. And, you got to add fries to every order($ 2.49 for a large). Everything else is pretty much the same for all McDonalds. Fast drive-thru service.

My first impression of this place was disappointing. They forgot to call my number letting me know my order was ready, I was standing right in front of them(5feet away waiting) for a good 2 minutes and the guy at the cash register who took my order was so blind to look down to notice my tray was ready to go for me to pick it up. I had to(holding myself back from sounding rude) ask if this was my tray and if it was ready for me to take. I’m not sure if it was poor training or if it was because it was morning but this started my day off in a bad mood.

Time to give credit where credit’s due. This McDonald’s appear to be working hard on improving its operation. Over the course of the past month, there has been a major improvement. I only do drive-in so this review is written from that vantage point. Starting with the order taker, they are consistently friendly and easily understandable. The order is processed quickly and my biggest complaint has also been resolved… the fries are hot and my order is correct. I have no idea if McDonalds has been reading Unilocal reviews or if some other internal quality control mechanism has kicked… regardless…Good job!

Sausage Mc Muffin with egg 2 for $ 3.50 if you order just one its $ 3. They got rid of the kids play area outside, and for some reason since then, there seems to be less homeless people outside too. But this morning there was a homeless guy outside and I never give them cash because i know they just use it for alcohol or drugs. So i was about to get a Sausage Mc Muffin with egg then my asian math kicked in and figured i could get another one for 50¢ more. As i left i gave the extra one to the homeless guy outside. I thought it was especially nice that the Mc Donalds worker thanked me for giving the homeless guy a sandwich. Good deed for the day… 50¢ GREATDEAL
