Business Owner

Over 25 years ago, Mike Rees started selling used office furniture from the back of 20 trailers that he purchased from companies who needed to liquidate their inventory in and around San Diego. He saw a need for the new and upcoming businesses on a budget, and companies on the move needing great quality furniture quickly. He also was hugely passionate about the environment and was disgusted at the amount of office furniture that ended up in landfills regularly.

Over the years, Mike grew his business all by word-​of-​mouth and grass-​roots marketing and was always of the mind-​set «Budget-​Focused, Eco-​Friendly».

Four years ago, Mike began offering new office furniture to his clients and opened two new showrooms in San Diego and Cerritos, CA. MFC continues to hold the budget-​focused & eco-​friendly at its core by selling new furniture that uses an eco-​friendly painting process, recycled fabrics, and meets other green furniture qualifications, as well as the used and refurbished as well.
