Mobile Leather Pro

I meant to write this review months ago when Ross came by to repair this second-​hand leather ottoman we have/​love. The seams had come apart at one of the edges and foam was exposed– we got quotes from others who were super pricey and/​or asked us to haul in the giant ottoman ourselves. Ross came by within a week of contacting him and stitched the corner within 20 minutes flat. It’s kept up for months (thank goodness) and we’re so grateful. If you need any leather furniture repair– think no further– Ross is super professional and reasonable.

5 Plus***** My favorite leather recliner was on it’s way to good will and I could not find anything to come close to what I had. I had my recliner repaired BEFORE by ANOTHER company, but it just didn’t hold up. I thought I would give Mobile Leather Pro a shot. I sent Ross photos and he said it was borderline if he could fix it. Well needless to say… Ross came through for me!!! My leather recliner is back in business and I’m very happy… looks good as new!!!

Never will you find a more professional and service-​oriented person than Ross at Mobile Leather Pro! We had two very worn leather chairs that Ross refinished for us. However after several months of use, some of the original scratches came through. Ross came back with no questions asked and re-​did the job on both chairs! What a professional!!! Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Ross was definitely the right person for the job. I had a 3 or 4 inch diameter hole in my leather couch from a dog and 12 years worth of wear on my car seats, but now they both look like new. I also had him repair the steering wheel and center console. He did a great job matching the colors and all the work looks great. You can see some before-​after pics in the list. I highly recommend giving him a call.

Unilocal to the rescue, once again! My 2 year old, top of the line, Mazda CX-​5 leather seats started falling apart. As a «gesture of goodwill,» Mazda Corporate offered to pay for 50% of repairs at my local dealership. They quoted my half would cost $ 2000 (pre tax). I immediately jumped on Unilocal to see if there was someone in town that could repair the seat without breaking the bank.
I spoke to Ross briefly and he asked me to text him photos of the car seats for a quote ($ 60 — 85). When I gladly approved, he was able to swing by my house the same evening! He was professional, courteous, and got the job done fast. I’m excited to have found him, and highly recommend him to everyone. Seeing as how my leather seats started to tear after only 2 years of ownership, I have a feeling Ross might be on speed dial for the life of this car!

I’ve never reviewed a business here on Unilocal,but I felt the need to after the amazing job Ross did on my Lexus. Honestly, it’s like night and day. The steering wheel was completely worn down and discolored and the driver’s seat and console were in bad shape too. Ross came all the way out to my place (which is in the sticks) and not only fixed the issues that we had agreed upon, he also touched up some other areas that I didn’t even ask him to do.
He just earned a lifetime customer.

Saw the Unilocal reviews on Ross… dead on… had him repair an 8 ft leather sofa and the drive side of my bmw convertible. To me they both look brand new. If I looked closer I might find something that was not just perfect but near as I can tell they look brand new.
The sofa had small cracking in the surface of the leather, he got that completely out… looks great.

Asked Ross to restore a vintage designer armchair rather than replacing the leather. My 1970s chair looks great and the color matches the original very well, which is impressive because it’s a very unusual orange/​red/​salmon color. I agree with the one reviewer who said Ross may not be punctual, but I’d still hire him again because he did a good job.

Ross was fantastic! We had several tears in our high-​end leather sofa that we were certain could not be repaired (other companies even told us it could not be done). Ross came immediately upon request (on a Friday evening no less) and was the epitome of professionalism. He is truly a «magician» and completely fixed the tears in the sofa. He even examined the entire sofa and repaired other areas that we hadn’t noticed at no additional charge. If you are thinking about using anyone else, do not. Plain and simple: if you want a professional leather repair with amazing results at the best price, call Ross.

I was looking for help in repairing 25 year old leather and chrome dining chairs whoes leather undersides have been spliting and sagging but were otherwise in excellent shape. While this was a bit out of the norm for Ross, he came up with a very viable solution that will extend the life of these chairs.
Ross was willing to experiement on one chair, when may other craftsmen wouldn’t even return my phone calls or emails. He quoted me an exceptional rate on the full project and delivered quicker than expected, especially given this all came about during the Thanksgiving holiday season.
I was delighted to find him from these Unilocal reviews and have no hesitating in highly recommending him for your leather repair project.

Ross is amazing! Wow!
I called him to come out and fix a tear in the leather seat of my brand new Lexus. I was frustrated that I already had damaged the seat. He said he would fit me in as I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. He came by around 5:00 tonight (a Friday night.)
This was a relatively small surface tear on the leather seat. Being that it was so small, I knew it would be difficult to make it look good. My expectation was that he would make it look better and that he’d make it so it wouldn’t get worse, but I was resigned to the fact that I would probably be able to see the repair.
Ross worked for over an hour on the seat. I glanced in on him a few times but didn’t want to interrupt him. He looked like an artist at work, which really relieved my concern. I tend to be a perfectionist and appreciate when others are as well.
When he called me out to see it, he stood to watch in anticipation of my response. I looked at him and simply said, «Wow!» He said he gets that a lot. I can see why. There is no sign of any damage, no sign of any repair work being done… basically, no sign that Ross was ever here. I’m truly amazed.
I read one of the reviews that said he’s not a timely business person. You know, I think it’s an unfair review of him. I found him to be timely and followed through on his commitment to get the job done. Plus, he’s an artist, and as such, I’m glad that he spent the time to do an amazing job and didn’t rush to get done so he could get to the next job or get home. Sometimes perfection takes extra time.
I HIGHLY recommend Ross. If you need repair work done on your vehicle, definitely call him. He is outstanding!

Unfortunately I’ve had to part ways with mobile leather. In the owners own words, «I am not a morning person». He is not a timely business person. Has lots of excuses that he views as legitimate as to why he is late but when you run a business your reputation relies on your work ethic. Timeliness is a big part of that for me. My time is not worth less than a contractors time and continued lateness won’t be excused. I won’t knock the quality of work. Just know if you hire him he may or may not be on time and he may or may not call to let you know he’ll be late. And he will always have an excuse prepared.

Ross is my boyfriend’s dad and setting all bias aside, he is amazing at what he does! I bought a new/​used car recently which had a few tears in the interior leather, he fixed it and it looks brand new! I would confidently recommend Ross!

I have a leather couch, loveseat, and chair. Both the couch and loveseat were showing signs of wear on the arms and backs. The couch had a nasty stain on it from some combination of hairspray, water, and a failed attempt at do-​it-​yourself-​leather-​cleaning by yours truly.
Ross came out and in one session re-​stained the couch and loveseat to basically factory new condition, keeping the color in match the chair that did not need the service.
We recommend him, he knows what he’s doing and has very reasonable prices for the amount of time/​care he spends.
He mentioned he also does Auto interiors. That is my next project for him.

I moved from one place to another and had leather furniture that was pretty beat up (dogs, sun damage, heavy usage). I didn’t want to go out and buy new furniture so went online and read the reviews for Mobile Leather Pro. Ross came up to my place, took a look at the damage and said that he could make it look like new again. It was a 1 ½ day job, but he did a wonderful job with all of the pieces… looks brand new right out of the showroom floor. Great price for the amount of work he did and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to redo their leather furniture.

Ross came and completely made over my couch. It looks amazing and it was a great price. He was professional, timely and did a really nice job. I would definitely recommend him.

Ross is amazing. He fixed our torn and peeled aging sofa and transformed it into an almost brand new one. Highly recommended. He is a very nice guy and professional. It is like magic :)

I had an aging Pottery Barn sofa in black that I loved but my cats had spent a lot of time on. There weren’t so many scratches as lots of punctures where they jumped off the top of it, but it was bad enough I was embarrassed.
Ross took a look at it and offered me two options: a less expensive option and a more expensive (and time consuming) option. He didn’t pressure me at all, and explained exactly what he would do in each instance. I went with the more detailed and thorough repair which entailed many hours of sanding, filling, buffing, etc. But the results were fantastic. My sofa looks as close to perfect as you could possibly get.
Ross is methodical, detailed, and wastes no time. He gets in and out and I am already recommending him to some of my other cat-​loving relatives who could make good use of his service. I highly recommend Mobile Leather Pro!
