I’ve never experienced less willing or helpful receptionists. The first time I called I was told I’d get a call back with more information… four days later I had to call back. During this phone call the secretary/​receptionist didn’t apologize for the error. She also had a terrible attitude and was very impatient with me. She was quite unprofessional and even downright rude. I’m new to the area, have a new insurance plan, and so I did have some questions! The main question was simply if that Dr. was in my network. She wanted me to come in for my visit before answering that (waste of my time much?) and then said she has no time for looking this up (after telling me that they only service a handful of policies) an that I need to call my own insurance company on my own time. She said it in such a condescending way, as if I was a child. I Can’t BELIEVE IT.

Doctor munce and his staff are fabulous — I have sent a few people to them since I first went and everybody has had a great experience like mine!!!

I have had some horrible dentist experiences in San Diego and several co-​workers recommended Dr. Munce to me. He and his staff are awesome. Most dentist offices are all about how many people they can get through the door in a day and how fast they can get you out. The staff is very personable, and Dr. Munce truly takes his time with you and his years of experience show in his amazing dental work.

I’m so delighted with Dr. Munce & his staff! Everyone there is so nice, gentle, & careful in their work. They really do remember us by name, & know who we are.
When faced with choosing a dentist from my insurance website based only on name & education info, I cross-​referenced to Unilocal looking for more info. (So thanks Cristina F. for giving me something to go on!) In the past I’ve been to dental offices named for a dentist I never met, where I saw a different dentist each time & didn’t get a lot of information. Dr. Munce is such a different experience! Everyone is so friendly, & really excellent at their job, from the front office to Dr. Munce himself. After our first visit they always pre-​authorize all of our treatments for us, let us know beforehand what the copay will be, & we have never had an issue with billing or a «surprise» bill. Dr. Munce is very gentle, thorough, takes his time to do everything carefully, makes sure I’m comfortable (as much as possible), & always takes time to explain everything, make recommendations, etc. When I needed a referral for oral surgery, they made a great recommendation, sent over all my info & referral before my appointment, & even double-​checked that the surgeon took my insurance. Even my husband, who was scarred by his dental experiences in the military, likes this dentist!

This dentist is hands down, the BEST dentist EVER. He is great and so is his staff :) Everyone remembers my name and what we talked about during my previous appointment six months ago! They are caring, attentive, gentle and «cater to cowards». I absolutely recommend this wonderful dentist and his amazing staff to anyone!!!
