Doesn’t get any better than Bree! My1st time going to Bree, I got gel mani and pedi… mani lasted 3 weeks, no chips, flawless; Pedi almost 2 months. Asked my self, wonder if this was luck or if she was that good. Went back, same thing, she is just THAT GOOD! She does a GREAT work, very focused, not rushed, easy to talk to, and over good person. Def recommend her if you want to feel beautiful and have a great time being pampered.

i purchased a groupon for a gel mani and pedi and was able to easily text bree for an appointment. bree’s salon is in a retail space shared with other beauticians, conveniently located in north park. luckily, there are several un-​metered parking spots in front and i was able to snag one! bree saw me right on time and gave me a simple and effective pedicure (no need for a vibrating chair, thanks) and shiny gel-​ed fingers. i enjoyed our easy conversation. bree is even offering a great deal for groupon return customers. ill be back! :)

I would like to start this off by saying I was so throughly irritated by the situation I created a Unilocal account just to write this review. I purchased your gel mani/​pedi deal off of Groupon, upon calling you to set an appointment there was no voice on the other end. I called again and was told text was better. So i texted you asking your availability and you told me to give you a minute & you’d let me know. I never received an answer that day. I texted you the next day, received no answer.
I texted again 5 hours later, received no answer. You have terrible customer service, figure that out.
I have contacted Groupon & requested a refund, very irritating experience don’t waste your time potential customers.

Bree is very sweet and a great nail tech, even without her glasses she did a great job.
I bought the $ 20 groupon package for pedi and no chip mani.
However, the venue isn’t actually a nail salon so I was a little confused walking in. She rents a room in a business complex off 30^th with some other gals who all do different sorts of beauty procedures.
The pedicure was well done but it was a little odd to sit in a worn down recliner with my feet in a vibrating home pedicure basin for the pedi. I felt she should put a little money into upgrading her room since there are so many nice salons around SD you can go to. It was just a little crowded and outdated but I think with a few upgrades she could have a fabulous venue for her clients

This is a perfect example of a bait and switch scenario. A groupon was advertised for a gel mani/​pedi. The bride called before purchasing to verify that the salon could handle multiple clients (there were five of us). The response was yes and I’ll even include some surprises (one glass of mimosa per person). The bride went ahead and purchased a couple of groupons and made the reservations for all of us. We were under the impression that there were either multiple nail technicians at this location or that the technician could handle all of us. We arrived at 2 pm and had rehearsal at 6 pm (yes, we were scheduled at noon but got stuck in another city so the bride called to schedule for later). Still plenty of time for 5 people, right? No! In reality, there was one technician, one station and each gel mani/​pedi took 1.5 hours each. Only three people ended up getting a mani/​pedi (two gel, one regular), one had her mani/​pedi done by another client, and the other person decided to not spend the time needed. Wow. During mani/pedi’s done by the technician, she was frequently on her phone to determine child care. I truly understand that as many friends are single parents, but should conversations and texts be happening when you are supposed to be working with the client? Instead, take a moment, excuse yourself, and step outside to take care of what you need to take care of. For the actual mani/​pedi, that was also a one star. My toes (which typically last at least 2 weeks) were chipped within two days and the ends were very rough. This was by far one of the worst experiences with a mani/​pedi and customer service that I have experienced. What was worse was that this was supposed to be a day of pampering for the bride and instead, she now has poor memories of that experience. I definitely do not recommend this location for a mani/​pedi, especially if there is more than one person.

I found Bree on Groupon and contacted her on Facebook to book an appointment for the next day. She responded within a minute (literally) and was very accommodating.
Usually I do not like to talk when I’m getting a mani or pedi (I like to relax)…but the conversation with Bree just flowed so easy. She took her time on each nail and was super thorough! I loved the final product!
Great price and great conversation… just like having a friend do your nails. Thank you Bree for making my bday fun!

Bree did a great job on my toes and fingers! She was so nice and it’s super easy to schedule an appointment with her (best via text, which is convenient for everyone these days :)). My nails look like they’re right off of pinterest, thanks Bree!

$ 25 for gels is a typical price, great deal is how she doesn’t charge for gel removal! She pays attention to the nail beds and edges/​sides/​tips. She’s a pro at filing the shape you want and smoothing the edges so polish goes on smoothly and stays. Also, she doesn’t buff/​file the tops of the nails — I like that because when you decide you no longer want gels, your nail isn’t ruined. Basically she’s very attentive, wants you to tell her if there’s something you feel that’s missing, and she carries a pleasant conversation with you. I’ll definitely go back to her.

My sister and I both got our nails done with Bree yesterday! This was one of the best nail experiences I’ve had. She spent over 2 hours focusing on me and making my nails perfect! She started with the pedicure and cleaned and scrubbed every little toe. She really helped me pick out the perfect colors for my wedding next week :) I showed her a photo of what I liked from Pinterest and she was able to do the same design with the glitter!
One of my thumb nails had a really bad broken nail, she was able to glue it together and blend it with the gel nails.
One of the main reasons I enjoyed this experience was because it was her own cute little salon, not like one of those big nail factories ;) she blocked off her whole morning to focus on me. It was a pleasure chatting with her while she worked on every little detail. Not to mention her pricing was better than most typical nail salons.
Both my sister and I will continue to go back to her for our nails! So glad we found Bree :)

Nails by Bree is a wonderful peaceful relaxing salon. Bree was very sweet kind and very professional. She arrived on time had a pleasant demeanor and was very helpful in selecting a color choice. She gave me an amazing foot and leg massage that felt like it went on for hours. She runs amazing specials as well. Definitely made my next appointment before I left.
