Established in 2000.

Located in Del Mar (Carmel Valley), California, North County Property Group provides property management and vacation rentals management services throughout the greater North County San Diego area including Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, and Poway. Led by Bob Preston, President and Broker/​Officer, the company has developed a strong team of experienced sales associates, property managers, and rental/​leasing agents who specialize in specific North County neighborhoods.

North County Property Group’s primary objective is to achieve maximum property value and income for our client property owners as well as provide top notch service to tenants of our rental properties and buyers we represent in real estate investment transactions. Business Owner

Bob Preston is the President and founder of North County Property Group. Bob first obtained his California Real Estate license in 1986. He has been a part of the Del Mar, CA and North County San Diego community as a homeowner, investment property owner, property manager and resident since 1998 and a Del Mar business owner since 2000. Bob is a licensed California Real Estate Broker (BRE #1 922 571) with Property Management Certification, General Contractor (#892 437), and REALTOR member of NSDCAR (#181 799).

With over 25 years of experience as a California Real Estate licensee and over 15 years personal experience as a property manager and owner of a vacation home, multiple rental properties, and commercial property investments, Bob has built North County Property Group’s property management business from his own real estate experiences, fulfilling unique needs of property owners in Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and the greater North County San Diego area.

I am a painting contractor that has done several jobs for NCPG. They have always wanted us to do a quality job each time. Over the last 42 years of contracting most companies like theirs want quick and cheap. Not the case with NCPG. It has always been a very positive great working relationship. The care and concern they have for each property they manage is above reproach. I have 2 rentals I manage so I understand as a owner it is so very important to chose the right company to manage your investment. If I ever use a Company to manage my properties it would be NCPG for sure.

Im infuriated with this company. I rented a vacation property from them for August 2015. It was a girls getaway for 8 and this company decided that they could no longer rent it to us because they would rather have someone in there that will stay longer than 4 nights. Who does that??? Money hungry bastards. If you were a good company you would keep your current reservations and apply new rule to new reservations. They have wasted my time and money and 8 girls airline tickets. (there of course is no where else than accommodate our group size on those dates)

The team was very professional and kept us informed with constant communication and took care of all the tenant issues expeditiously, assuring the repair work was done correctly and at the best price. These guys rock! Very professional and communicative. Prior to meeting Bob at NCPG, I was told that my property wouldn’t be a good candidate for a short term vacation rental. Needless to say, they were wrong! Not only did it rent out fully with short notice for the summer of 2013, it booked in the winter months which was unexpected. I would not have my property managed by any other property management group. I ended up relocating from Seattle to the rental property but if I ever turn it back to an income property, North County Property Group will be managing it, for sure!!!

When I saw they had a negative review I was shocked. I now see that it was a rave review but the reviewer forgot to click on the stars.
These guys are great. I leased one of their condos for a year. Bob is an organized, intelligent, light-​hearted manager and every interaction we had was fantastic. He gets back immediately and handles problems and fixes the same way. Usually a manager seems to always be looking out for themselves and the owner, but I really felt he was always fair and chose the morally right thing to do. He is an excellent communicator and has fantastic character. What more can you ask for in property manager?
