Ok but not good pizza. Extremely greasy and very generic. I cant see ever seeking this place out or chosing it over so many others unless my car broke down in front and I was starving. There is nothing like a free massive pizza to please a crowd at work though!

A nice hidden gem of a mom and pop style pizza place, with a very friendly lady running the place when I went in. Pizza was great and will be coming back again!

Our son lived in Jersey City across the river from NYC for several years. They had a few neighborhood«pie» shops that made great thin crusted dough and flavored it just right. We had the black Olive and Mushroom Pizza tonight. You still have to order double olives and double mushrooms to make it the way I like it. This Pizza is so good! And the prices are still good even with the double toppings. 5 Stars for NY Giant Pizza!

We go here every so often the pizza is pretty good but definitely not much in customer service. Very rude. Son went to pay the delivery last night and since they didn’t tell us how much it would be he only took what I handed him. And before my son could say hold on let me get your tip the driver got all rude saying«this is all, a dollar I need more you go inside I wait here.» I was taken back by how demanding and rude he was I gave him his tip and responded with, «if you would of gold us how much it was on the phone we wouldn’t of had this issue.» So not pleased with the rudeness I’ve gotten several times but this one had to be the worst.

LOVETHISPLACE! We’ve been ordering pizzas from them for well over a year now and have yet to get a bad pie. Great ingredients, a good recipe, and better people add up to one amazing bite!

Customer service isn’t great but the pizza is worth it if you like cheesy, salty, greasy, thin crust greatness. Ingredients are fresh and the pizza is cheap. Delivery is free in the Bay Park area, although the guy on the phone never seems stoked if you’re not picking up… My go to delivery spot regardless.

Ordered wings, dry no sauce. They were delivered covered in wing sauce. When my husband called to complain the guy told him, we don’t make the wings plain. My husband asked why didn’t you tell my wife that when she called in order or call us in the 55 minute delivery time. He kept repeating we only make them one way, not plain. Will never order from here again

I have grown to love this little Mom and Pop joint. I need to make clear that I am a pizza snob, and this is NOT true NY pizza. While it is pretty good pizza, it is not what I would call NY Pizza. This is a small little joint that I have stopped in for a slice or two no less than a dozen times for lunch, and have ordered the extra large pizzas for the office. I recommend ordering pizza fresh rather than relying on slices for an opinion. Depending on when you go will factor on how fresh the slices are. I will say that the slices($ 2.50) are very large and filling. They are BYFAR the best value for a slice in town. The fresh pies are really good and have a good proportion of cheese to sauce. The dough is not quite NY, but it is one of the closest you will find in SD. The restaurant itself is a small little bistro size. Service is simply(literally mom and pop running the place) and they always have something on tv to watch. I typically visit on Sundays, so it is whatever game is on(SD if playing). If you are early enough, you can get a good coffee from the stand right in the parking lot or grab some fresh flowers as well! Definitely worth a try and better than most pizza joints around town.

This place is a hidden gem in San Diego. True authentic New York style pizza. I wanted to impress my friend from New York who recently moved here two months ago. He kept craving New York Pizza… I remembered this place from around 2001 – 2002 and brought him here. He loved the experience and said its exactly like New York. The Owner of the restaurant I believe is half Sicilian and half Middle Eastern. He spoke of his journey and how serving quality food is always his passion. I really love this place. They have great tasting pizza at an affordable cost. Also, don’t forget to try their philly cheese steak and manicotti. This place is a gem and if you haven’t tried it please do. The new owners running the place is a very nice guy. His English isn’t very fluent but he’s definitely all about servicing his customers. Thank you for the great experience. I enjoyed our time. Most Respectfully, Moe

This pizza is for feeding kids — not adults. Also, there was only one parmesan shaker in the whole restaurant, and it had a fly buzzing around inside the shaker.

Nope… I came here around 2:30 on weekday and I gotta say, expected more. The bar isn’t set too high when ordering a simple slice of pizza, but the guy who was taking orders/cooking wasn’t the most welcoming. Also, I found it strange that they didn’t have any real menu to look at. The guy said anything I wanted he would make it, which is fine in theory, but I didn’t get the vibe that if I asked for a pesto slice or a meat lovers, it would come with a smile. I ordered a pepperoni slice and the quality was… meh. And actually made me feel a bit odd after. I will say, the prices aren’t bad. So if you don’t care about the taste of your pizza or the customer service involved, have at it!

11 dollars for a smaller plain cheese pizza. Waited a long time to pick it up, I even calling it in over the phone before… They said 20 – 25. It was closer to 35 – 40. For pick up on a COLD small cheese pizza. Also The dough is rubbery and its slim picking on the sauce and cheese. My 6 year old ate 3 pieces so I gave them one extra star for filling him up… But then again his favorite food is Mac and cheese from a box. Next time I’ll save 10 bucks and make that instead.

Lots of cheese, almost too much cheese, but good good greasy cheese! Prices are decent and honestly with all the rants yes it’s not super customer service friendly but the pizza and prices are worth it.

Apparently they don’t want people in their store. I went in stood at the counter and the dude in the kitchen just looked at me nobody said«hi» «I’ll be right with you» «how are you doing today» or came out from the back to the counter… Nothing. After about 5 mins of this I just walked out. No matter who you are when somebody walks into your place of business who doesn’t work there you greet them. It was weird.

I walked into this joint to order a pizza to go. The TV was incredibly laud and there was a one guy in the kitchen saying something to me that I couldn’t either understand or hear. I said it is very loud, could you turn it down please? …he ignored me. He took my order with a face like a «well slapped ass» and said it will take 15 min. There was no thank you, no recommendations… no smile. Took money, didn’t reduce the TV volume and went back to the kitchen. In the mean time, i decided to go outside and wait. I ordered 20 inch half white and half veggie pizza and I must say it was OUTSTANDING. If not for the unfriendly customer service I would give them five stars. I do believe you can get as good of a pizza at the Round table!

Good new york style pizza at a great price. The ingredient quality is average. But the prices are great! $ 11 for a cheese 16″ vs $ 17 at Papa John’s. Several reviewers had problems here with misunderstandings on the phone or wrong ingredients. My orders have always been ready when they said they’d be ready and the size/ingrdients were always correct. I always pick up — I haven’t done delivery. If you want excellent service and a date-friendly atmosphere go to Caffe Bella Italia. If you want decent NY style pizza at a great price, come here.

Dude. DUDE! DUUUUUUDE! This is written after FOUR times of trying to get a slice of pizza. FOUR. And every time being told they were out and to come back later. Always trying at different times… always told to come back and try at a different time of day. NY Giant Pizza, don’t advertise that you sell slices if you don’t. It’s fine if you don’t. Really. Just don’t lie about it. In ads and to my face. That sucks! So…I bring you… The Pizza Bride: Me: Boooooooo! Boooooooo! Booooooo! NY Giant Pizza: Why do you do this? Me: Because you had pizza in your hands, and you wouldn’t sell it to me. Four times. NY Giant Pizza: But we wouldn’t be able to lie to your face if we actually sold slices like we advertise that we do. Me: Your advertisements are a lie… and you have treated me like garbage. And that’s what NY Giant Pizza is, the Parlor of Refuse. So order from them if you want, order from them. Order from the Pizza Parlor of Slime, the Pizza Parlor of Filth, the Pizza Parlor of Putrescence. Boo. Boo. Rubbish. Filth. Slime. Muck. Boo! Boo! Boo!

Every time we visit sd, we hit this up. It reminds us of home in NY! People write that it’s too thin… they’ve clearly haven’t had NY pizza. I find it hilarious that people who want a deep dish pizza(aka Chicago style) would expect that style from a place called NY… o. O?! Their $ 6 pizza pie is the perfect amount of sauce and cheese! If ordering their larger pizza, ask for a lil more sauce on the side!
