Olgas Food Place

So glad I turned to Unilocal to look for places that would do last minute orders as well as opening earlier than 1100!!! The pricing for their trays are far below any competitor (have seen other places trying to charge upwards of $ 100 for a party tray of pancit and $ 80 for 200 lumpia) not to mention that the quality of the food they make!!! Delicious!!! Olga’s has far exceeded any expectation I had.
Lastly, the owner… you just don’t find genuinely nice owners/​people like Rocky anymore. He truly does make you feel welcome into his business and takes pride in his services. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me out at the last minute and doing it with a great smile!!!

Olga’s only does catering now which is a little bit of a bummer. I went there a couple years ago when they served food there and geez they had great adobo!
I called & ordered a tray of 100 lumpia yesterday. I procrastinated – and I called late around like 3pm – left a message to see if it was possible but said if it wasn’t I understood because it was my own fault for being last-​minute-​Linda. I was a bit bummed thinking no way, I called way way way too late. Then I got a voicemail later in the evening from Rocky who said they could accommodate it! YESSSSS! He called me back in the morning to confirm which I did & thanked profusely.
He sounded like «hey no problem, I’ll take care of you!» And was extremely nice!
Picked them up just as they came out of the fryer and were being packaged and omg that place smelled so delicious. Brought them back to work for a potluck and ½ gone within an hour. Figured that would happen. Their lumpia is sooooo delicious & perfectly crisp.
Will def order again but next time I promise to give the 2 days notice they ask so nicely for and maybe throw in a tray of pancit too ;)

I called the day before to place my order, food was ready on time. I even got a reminder call 15 minutes before my pick up time. Easy ordering, easy pick up and super friendly service. I will be returning

Ordered lumpia from them the day before a party and they had it ready the next day for me. Great customer service! Called the next day confirm it would be ready at the time I asked! The lumpia was yummy… cooked perfectly. And of course the tray was empty within a few minutes! Highly recommend this place if you need a last minute lumpia for a party or potluck!

I preordered pancit for my husbands squadron! It was a hit since I am too lazy to cook myself and work fulltime I might as well have someone to make it just as delicious! Thank you so much! I will keep buying food from you when I need it:)

Seriously the best lumpia & pancit trays ever. Great prices. Great customer service. Catered here for a work party & another time for our own party at home. Delicious & perfect food both times. The lumpia is crisp tasty & perfect size. The pancit is filled with the works & is topped with adobo. Ask for that. Yum!

I order 100 pieces of lumpia for a work potluck. Rocky was very friendly and nice and the lumpia was fantastic! I highly recommend ordering from them. They do require a minimum of 24 hour notice and if it’s the holidays/​Christmas, make sure you plan ahead as they can get very busy and may not take any more orders. But they do have the best price.

Lumpia is freshly fried while you wait. Called on a Friday afternoon for pick-​up on Monday morning. Owner called back to confirm quantity (200 pcs) time and price ($ 54 with tax). Got there at 9:50am and he was on his last batch of frying. Lumpia was fresh, crispy and oh so tasty. Can’t wait to order here again for the next event.

Awesome lumpia, great prices, very generous family owned business. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place. We ordered for an event last last and it was perfect. Lumpia was fresh and hot, everyone loved it and you cannot beat the price!

Best lumpia I’ve has in San Diego so far. Also the service is amazing. Rocky is the best! Not only did he cook me fresh lumpia before 8 am since I needed to come pick them up before work but he also called me the next day to follow up with me and see how everything went at my work party and how the lumpia tasted. What a rad dude!

Rocky welcomed me into his little shop like I was an old friend! He was super nice and got my lumpia ready very quickly. The lumpia was fresh and crispy. The inside was flavorful. I loved the spicy sweet dipping sauce that came with it too. I didn’t know that they mostly cater, so next time I’ll order ahead. I will definitely be back soon!

Super yummy lumpia! I called in an order for 100 lumpia at around 9am and it was ready to be picked up at 5pm the same day! All for only $ 25. The location is somewhat unique — but easy to find nonetheless.

Need to update on here that they are for catering only. I’ve wanted to try them for over a year now and finally had a chance to be there before the stated closing hours and come to find out they no longer (who knows how long) do anything but catering. It was rather disappointing because they are the ONLY place to get Filipino near my house.

Kuya takes care of you here! Seriously, do you want lumpia? This place should be renamed lumpia house. We placed a huge order in advance and he had it all made perfect on time with just the last few left to go when we arrived so it was all fresh.

I came here during lunch hour on a friday and they were closed! I was so bummed because I was craving some lumpia and some pinoy food and this was the only place Unilocal told me was near by. Boooooooooooo

Absolutely LOVE this place! Great food, great price and great customer service! Ever since I learned about this place I have ordered food for every event I’ve had, and that’s a lot! Food is always ready on time hot and fresh. I believe the man’s name is Rocky who seems to be a super cool guy. Olga’s is the place to go!

Wow. We’ve been hunting around San Diego for the best lumpia, and If you’re wondering where that’s at… It’s here! The owners/​staff are incredibly friendly and the smell of freshly fried lumpia wafts as you ascend the steps to lumpia heaven. The filling is among the tastiest I have ever had and they are perfectly fried to a deep golden brown. Delicious!

This is by far the best place for catering. I searched all over for prices and it’s the cheapest you’ll find. I hosted a party of 100 for my son’s first birthday and we had so many people tell us how good the food was. They were able to accommodate some dishes for us which I don’t think is on their menu which makes them so great! I also asked a few days before if they could deliver and it was no problem (the fee was up to us). Their prices are amazing and the food is delicious. Stop your search now and just call Rocky. He’s reliable and SOOOO friendly which makes it way less stressful!

We went to Olga’s Food Place to order 100 Lumpias for $ 25, they were delicious and a hit with a large group of folks at their end of season club party. It sounds like Olga’s Food Place does a lot of catering business, so call ahead to place an order before you get there!

Great little place. I ordered catering from here for about 30 people and they were so nice and helpful. The lady who cooked for me was waiting outside on a Sunday waiting for me to come pick up my food and put everything in my car with her husband. Very hospitable and philippino of them :). The food itself was a hit and so well priced. Cheapest I found when I was researching. Best lumpia deal and they are nice sizes lumpia. Although their «fried rice» was more of a garlic rice kind not the fried I was looking for but that’s alright. I really recommend this place.
