Feels like a sports-bar brewery. Narrow demographic of patrons and staff, beers ok.

Pacific Brewing is what San Diego craft beer should be. Cool people, good beer and a great place to house the two. Really nothing super shiny unique here, nothing off the wall… just good beer and conversation making the magic happen!

We went here after a failed experience at 2kids brew co.(2 stars) Pacific Brewing Company was a great experience all around that saved our post-work happy hour! The brewery is clean and inviting. Solid décor throughout including surfboards on the wall gives it a San Diego feel. It seemed like the people at the bar were regulars and the vibe was lively and fun. The bartender was friendly and helped us pick out a flight that fit our palet. 2 delicious double IPAs, a spunky blueberry sour number, and a tasty porter all went down well. Crisp flavorful beers all around. This was a great brewery experience and we will be back.

This place is a smaller size brewery with I think 10 beers on tap. But I’ll tell you what, the customer service is nice but the beer is even better. I’m a stout beer kinda guy and there stout Simma down is hands down the best beer I’ve ever had. There Ipa(s) are really good too. Great people and good vibes. Must check this place out!

I have been coming to Pacific Brewing since the early summer months of ’15, and I must say that it is a gem. The beer selection is small when compared to other micro breweries, however it is extremely well rounded. My personal favorite, is the Wallaby Hunter IPA. This is certainly one of the smoothest, cleanest, and delicious IPA’s that I have ever had; and that is coming from an avid microbrewery connoisseur. My review would be 5/5, however the only thing that bugs me about this place is their lack of AC or heating. First timers be warned, if it is cold or hot outside, it will be very similar inside. Other than that small discrepancy, this is my favorite brewery. Also, while Pacific does not serve food — the sushi restaurant that is in the same parking lot will gladly bring your food to you at Pacific! A nice treat.

Great beer, most importantly. Very casual, off-the-beaten path location. Pacific and 2Kids are located in the same industrial sort-of area. Opens up into a parking lot. Odd, but simple and enjoyable. The bartender was very nice when my husband and I visited on my birthday.

One of many awesome breweries in this area, Pacific Brewing has done a great job in creating a space where people can enjoy there beers and not feel as though they are encroaching on someone’s brew area. Very clean with a very nice lady friendly bathroom. I only had the time for one beer when I visited but the Octo-Rye is what I am looking for in a IIpa and I can’t wait to go back and try some more.

But the name is so unoriginal and the beers were so meh that I am a bit surprised. We were the only people in there unlike at 2 Kids, Legacy, Lightning, and others. Very talkative and fun brewer on staff serving us samplers. I hope the beer improves and that they gain a local following.

They just have good beer. The ambiance is NOTHING to speak of but if they have their Mothra Hoppy Amber, who cares? They didn’t have it when I last went on 8÷14÷15 but if they have it, get it! And the sushi place next door, Deli Sushi will dleiver!

I’ve had the Simma Down dry stout and it’s really good. Not heavy at all. I’ve also had the Cruiser IPA. It’s a little sweet for my taste but not bad. Overall I like the atmosphere and the bartender and brewer we chatted with were really nice. Great place to come for a drink with friends.

On our way to Home Depot from the dog park, my boyfriend suggested stopping by someplace to get a beer or two. Who was I to stop him? So we found the closest brewery to us and it happened to be Pacific Brewing Company. Man, am I glad we found this place. When we walked in we were greeted by Nugget the chihuahua, who also greeted our pup Maggie, and the friendly faces of Pacific Brewing Company. We sat at the bar, had a bit of chit chat about beers and dogs and all that fun stuff, and started tasting some of the best beers I’ve had in a while. We got a taster of the Bombara(IPA), Cruiser(Pale Ale), Peruvian Chocolate(Brown Ale), Aggie(Pale Ale), and the double IPA which I forgot the name of. They were all fantastic but the two that stood out to me were the Peruvian Chocolate and Bombara. I’m not even a fan of brown ales but this one was deeeelicious! You can tell that they take pride in what they make at Pacific Brewing Co and they definitely should! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back, especially for you, Nugget!

Another great brewery in SD! Nice atmosphere with some really great beers. The employees here are really nice. I was a jerk and came in with a group of 7 right at closing and they were still super nice and cool about us being jerks. Everyone was very pleased with the beer they tried. I loved my stout, it was a vanilla bean and bourbon stout and it was fantastic. If you have not yet been to Pacific Brewing you should totally stop by and check them out. I have heard rumors of an amazing ladies room so I think I will use this as another reason to go back.

Good beer with very friendly staff. I had a flight of IPAs that were decent. Not bad but nothing that really stood out to me. Place is not big and there is plenty of parking.

Awesome little brewery. We came in a fairly large group, celebrating a friend’s birthday and she got a pint of her choice on the house! We also got the chance to chit chat with one of the brewmasters, Chris, and everyone there is very friendly :) Favorite of the day: Sticky Icky. Somewhat reminiscent of an arrogant bastard. Delish. They have several surfboards hanging around on the walls and a chalkboard surfboard near the entrance so you can leave your mark behind!

Super pumped for this new brewery! It literally just opened and it really has some great beer. Also, and this may seem trivial, but as a female who likes to go to breweries: ITHASTHENICESTBATHROOMINTHEHISTORYOFALCOHOLESTABLISHMENT :) now i wish i was kidding but everyone in our group of 5 had to go in there and experience it. Granted, this place is very new but you can tell that they care and that shows. Now onto the important matters: the beer! Full taster set for $ 5– yes please. The #3 Beer which if i am not mistaken was their most calm IPA was delicious. Unlike other SD IPAs as it didn’t overpower me with the hops. For sure worth a try. Finally, the little dog running around makes for a great entertainment. We went on a friday night so parking was easy but i would imagine that it may pose a slight issue during the week as it is in an industrial complex. So worth the experience! Great job Pacific Brewing Company!
