Our kitchen cabinet re-​facing project is still on-going…since December 2015 and it’s January 18, 2016 as I’m writing this review. It’s not a big kitchen and I was told by Sales it would be done within 10 days. It started on December 7^th, 2015. Of course there were holidays, vacations, rain storms… but there were at least 20 some «workable» days. Our installer worked pretty hard but his orders with the shop were often ignored or not-​filled by specs, or worse — the measurement by the meauring guy was just so off, and he had to wait.
I promise I will post pictures when this waiting game is all over. Sometimes being patient pays in the end…

We had our kitchen done last month with white cabinets and a beautiful granite. Overall I was happy but would have to say the finishing touches were not exactly what I expected. An example would be the seems on the white cabinets which reflected a slight black line that isn’t seamless. However, I was able to touch this up with a little white paint and it’s no longer noticeable. The roll out drawers are great however not lamented completely which leaves raw wood. I am planning on laminating or painting this next month. It would be a good idea to negotiate this when your finalizing your contract.
As far as the team, Mary Lou, Tom and Shane were great!!! They all went out of their way to make me satisfied with the final result. Shane whom did the majority of work was polite and sensitive to my family at all times during the duration of his job. Shane and Tom excepted a few changes I had and did them with no questions. In regards to the granite, that process was seamless and completely handled by the team. The company they used were very tentative to my needs. I love the ending result!
All in all I am very happy and love my new kitchen!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I have included pictures as well for you to review. Good luck!

It has been about 6 months since we had our new kitchen and I love it. One of the reasons I was not going to consider refacing was that I wanted cabinets to go to the ceiling in half the kithen and the current upper cabinets did not do that. We removed a wall opening up some new spaces for cabinets. What was really great was that where the cabinets were in the right place and the right size, they were refaced. Where they were not, Pacific Kitchens built new custom cabinets to fit the spaces we had. They were so willing to work with us to get the look we wanted. I love the way the cabinets and drawers open and close and the slide out drawers. The mounts allow for drawers are much deeper than the ones they replaced which gives more storage space. The only complaint was that the rollout drawers are not finished wood and needed some coats of verathane to make them smooth. This was not hard but I was not expecting to have to do this. I mention this as it might help you, or you maybe you can negotiate to have this done before they are assembled as this coating them would go much faster before they were assembled. But this was not enough to take away a star. I am just sharing it so yiou can decide how to handle it.
Overall the quality and workmanship of the team was great and I am very happy with the results. I especially like the double pull out trash cans. I open the large drawer, sponge down the counter, moving any scraps off the end of the counter into the trash container and close the drawer. So easy, way better then a visiable trash can.

I recently had the pleasure of having Richard work in my home for the past 2 weeks and he did a tremendous job at refacing my cabinets. Service was professional and cabinets are beautiful. Our countertops are also being installed this week by a Pacific Kitchens sub-​contractor, with a review to follow on that as well. For now just wanted to say that the cabinet portion of my remodel looks really good. I would use Pacific Kitchens for service again or recommend them to friends & family!

The work started and finished exactly when they told us it would. There were absolutely no surprises and the quality of workmanship is great. We only had one day where the kitchen was un-​usable.

After spending months comparing companies and proposals, I went with these guys and glad I did. Besides the fact that they get rave reviews here on Unilocal and have lots of letters posted at their office, they were no nonsense. Their proposal included everything. Everyone else was piece meal with extra for this and extra for that. When I compared the lowest bids I got and estimated the true final cost, PK was very competitive.
Their craftsmen are truly that. If they cut a piece that isn’t perfect, they’ll do it again. They take great pride in their work as if it were their own homes they are working on. And then the office support is great. If there’s any problems or scheduling issues, Mary Lou will be right on it.

We are very grateful to the staff of Pacific Kitchens for guiding us through the process of refacing our kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as helping us with the granite counters tops, sinks, faucets and garbage disposal. The referral came from our neighbor who had the cabinets refaced in their condo and they looked elegant. We were impressed with the craftsmanship and appearance of the finished product and decided to visit your showroom.
We are so pleased and satisfied with the whole process from the day we walked into the office and were greeted by Jeff the owner and Mary Lou. Both were so positive, caring and attentive to our needs with great follow up. Mary Lou answered all our questions and coordinated the entire project and scheduled Allen to come to our home the next day to show us many samples of materials and get an idea of what we wanted done — we are so happy we decided to have Pacific Kitchens do the work for us. Allen gave us the estimate and we accepted and signed the contract.
Tom Hoffman did all the measurements for the cabinets in both bathrooms and kitchen, granite counter tops, new Silgranit Kitchen Sink and the sinks in both bathrooms. Since Pacific Kitchens was responsible for installing our new Stainless Steel Microwave, Gas Stove Top and Electric Oven he coordinated with Martin from MTrac Electric to relocate the large electric box behind the oven so the new oven would fit properly. He knew the questions we’d have and supplied the answers — a great person.

Chris, our installer, was very detailed orientated, meticulous, and took great pride in his work. He sealed off the area to keep the dust to a minimum thus allowing us to stay in our unit. We were very pleased with the plumbing, the installation of the 25 cabinet doors and the 10 new drawers he made in our condo — they look fabulous. Chris’ portion of the job was completed in eleven days right on schedule.
Michael and Armando, from The Counter Top Company, took several hours to install the granite in the kitchen and both bathrooms — this company works in conjunction with Pacific Kitchens. Like Chris they did a phenomenal job.
Rick did the final inspection by checking the following:
a. Cabinet moldings and he made sure the doors and drawer fronts were properly aligned
b. The handles and accessories were installed and bumper pads were on all the doors
c. Connected the plumbing (water off for one night under the sinks to allow granite to dry)
It is wonderful to find a team like the staff at Pacific Kitchens who will go the extra mile to assure peace of mind every step along the way. Their availability, and most of all their professionalism, knowledge, generosity and kindness can’t be matched. They took us under their wing and guided us through every detail of the process to completion.

This really is as good as it gets! Couldn’t be happier with the final results, not to mention how clean Richard was for the 2 weeks he wasn’t working in my home.
I’m super, super picky… some say OCD haha, but when I pointed out some really small areas I wanted adjusted they didn’t even hesitate, but came right out and fix the areas that were bugging me.

SO NICE!!! MaryLou was great and walked me through my options, I can see why they have great reviews. In the end, I cannot use them since I was only looking at painting my 1.5 year old cabinets, but will keep them in mind for anything else!

We checked on line references for possible refacing contractors and picked Pacific Kitchens as a result. We were amazed at the quality of the finished project. Not only the quality of the workmanship, professional staff and sense of service, but the huge difference it made in our home. The term refacing does not nearly describe the process. We kept our existing layout and newly installed granite, and Pacific Kitchens installed all new doors, hardware and facing around it with ease. We wanted to match existing new cabinets upstairs and they came back with a dead-​on match! Can’t say enough about working with Pacific Kitchens!

They actually finished the work in the time they estimated.
Their quality control is amazing.
I wanted some non-​standard stuff (extra shelving built and stuff like that) and they didn’t even blink. They just worked it out.
I wish these people worked on all parts of the house. If I could hire them for every single job, I would be ecstatic.
I would 150% hire them again. Their schedule tends to be a bit booked, but it’s totally worth waiting a month or two to get someone who will do quality work in the amount of time they promise for the amount of money they promise.

Our kitchen was completed at the end of April 2014 and we couldn’t be happier with it. The sales person gave us a quote for a 100% cabinet reface with the addition of small glass door cabinet. When we learned that replacing the 24 inch wall oven had only two models and the microwave would be a different manufacturer, we put in a change order to make custom cabinets to fit a 30 inch oven, 36 in stove top, and over the range microwave. A couple more change orders later we ended up with about a 60% cabinet reface that included an expanded (deeper) pantry cabinet. The cabinet maker and installer, Bob, was a true craftsman. He brought to our attention stuff we never thought of like providing a little extra space under the cabinet so the under cabinet lights would fit properly. They provided us with the name of an awesome electrician, MTrac Electric. Martin did a fantastic job wiring up new ceiling lights, under cabinet lights, and rewire for the new oven. As with any job, this job didn’t go without any hitches but their goal to make us satisfied and happy with everything was achieved. I would highly recommend Pacific Kitchens.

We are. so pleased with our Kitchen, 2 bathroom’s and our Linen Cabinet. Every one was so helpful and understanding in the process. The whole team was very patient with all our questions and concerns. Our installer Phil is a great asset for the Company, he treats his work like it was for his home. I love looking at them every day.

I had my kitchen cabinets refaced 8 years ago. I was very pleased with the results. Since then, I’ve called Pacific Kitchens for minor repairs and adjustments. (None of the repairs were required because of Pacific Kitchens; the original cabinet construction in my condo was lousy). Maryllou and the installers have always been prompt, courteous, helpful and extremely reasonable in their pricing. You can’t go wrong!

Pacific Kitchens, did an excellent job on my kitchen, started Monday and finished Thursday morning by 11am, really happy thanks for making my kitchen look spectacular!!!

Pacific Kitchens did a phenomenal job with our new kitchen. We have had it for a month and cannot be more pleased with how everything turned out. We were on a budget, and had to make choices that were affordable to us, yet the quality of materials and the workmanship is so superb that we really feel we got a kitchen that looks more premium than what we paid for. Everybody that we encountered at Pacific Kitchens were friendly, professional, and detail oriented, and the entire process went as explained and per contract. Albeit a few hiccups with scheduling since we were also getting a new countertop, everything was sorted out and we are so happy with the end result that there really isn’t anything to complain about. If we were given the chance to turn back time, we would choose Pacific Kitchens all over again!

Very poor follow up and customer service !
We had refacing done many years ago from Pacific and the work was good. Needing some remedial work done, Tom came to the house to appraise the job. I asked him when the estimate would be ready. He said «next week». After 2 weeks, nothing. When I called asking why I didn’t hear from him, he blamed the estimate being stuck on another person’s desk. I finally got it later that week, but was really put off by this attitude of «whenever» vs when he told me he’d have it. I’m thinking, «Do I really want to do business with these people who can’t even be reliable on an estimate timetable? Doesn’t giving a customer an estimate help create business for them? Do they care?»
Six weeks later — time having smoothed out my earlier frustration — I called Tom asking for the quote again. (I couldn’t find my notes from before. They never email a quote, in fact, don’t do email at all, and don’t furnish a hard copy.) He said he would have to look for it and call me back. I asked when I could expect his call. He said, «tomorrow». Well — do you see a trend here? — tomorrow stretched out to the next week. 6 days later he still hadn’t called back! I had to try to call him again, and then again the following day. Enough is enough!
Is their business really that good that you can irritate repeat, or any customers for that matter? On returning phone calls??? Not once, but twice, and then again ! Carbon copy crummy customer service!!! Thinking the owner might want to know, I spoke to Jeff to express my frustration. While he was apologetic, he blamed his own vacation for overloading Tom — thus blaming himself! To me, this is how poor customer service behavior is enabled. Sorry — doesn’t fly — especially the second time around. I’ll find another company that acts like they want my business.
