Established in 2008.

Founded in 2008, Party People San Diego was created with the goal of offering the highest quality in Event & «Wedding DJ» Entertainment.

Our team of experienced «DJ’s» has over 25 years of combined «DJ» and event management experience and has DJ’d over 1,000 events.

In addition to our event and wedding DJ services we offer a number of event enhancements including lighting, video projection, décor as well as photo and video recording to make your wedding or special event shine.

After working as a «wedding DJ» for various «DJ» companies for several years I founded Party People San Diego in 2008 with the belief that there had to be a better way to provide quality, comprehensive «DJ» and Multi-​Media Services at a competitive price.

I believe my educational background; years of experience as a «Professional Wedding DJ» coupled with my career in non-​profit and event management make me uniquely suited to strike that balance.

In addition we have assembled a dynamic team of talented DJ’s and event professionals committed to delivering personalized service and client satisfaction with each event.

Jeremy was so great to work with and he really brought the fun that we really wanted for our guests on our wedding day! He is very knowledgeable and professional in the field and we really liked how easy going and organized he was. When we met he took us through the whole day, which made it so much easier to visualize and plan. He even emailed us the document of the timeline with the songs he typed up, so we could really see what songs we still had to pick out for what. He really understood the vibe we were going for and what songs/​genres we liked. When we got stuck picking out a song, he was really there to give us lots of ideas. We really felt confident in the songs we picked because we knew if anything seemed out of place, that he would let us know.
We had our wedding at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and Jeremy did a great job working with the staff at the venue. They were impressed and everything ran very smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with how the music turned out for the ceremony and cocktail hour! When it came to the reception, we really just wanted our guests to have a blast. Jeremy really made that possible! He did an amazing job MCing and getting everyone hyped up and ready to dance. He played all the songs we wanted and filled in the spaces with other songs that mixed in perfectly. He really got everyone on the dance floor and he even came out on the dance floor for a bit with some of his break dance moves, which we loved. I would highly recommend Party People!

We’ve used other photo booths for our school prom but Jeremy came highly recommended and I’m so glad we switched this year. The booth was hi-​tech, the props were in abundance and the students and teachers posed all night long. Phyllis made it so easy for our students to be comfortable in front of the camera. I recommended that Party People be added to the preferred vendor list at our venue. Great night and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s prom.

Your DJ can really help make or break your wedding so do your homework. Jeremy was as professional as you can get. Of course we were nervous about our wedding, but Jeremy rocked it and over-​exceeded our high expectations for his role in our day in the lime light. He set a good vibe from start to finish (listened to all of our musical requests beforehand and perfectly filled in all the gaps), kept in communication with us throughout the event and even busted out some serious dance moves!!! The uplighting was perfect and the photobooth was fun including all of the quality props. The monogram added a nice elegant touch, and the charger plates, votives etc that we included in or package were all quality. All of this combined with such a well run organization made us feel like we received a really good value and our money was well spent. I better not have to :), but if I were going to do it again, there’s no way I’d pick anyone other than JJ at Party People San Diego to do it. I’d give you ten stars if I could. Thanks again Jeremy. Amazing job!!!

Party People San Diego was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Jeremy was always responsive to our texts and emails and we met with him twice before our wedding to go over the details. Jeremy even chatted with me (bride) on the phone a few days before the wedding for 1.5 hours just to walk me through everything so I wouldn’t have a bride meltdown. At and after the wedding, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved everything that Party People provided for us: our custom monogram, beautiful uplighting, a top-​notch photo booth and props, beautiful crystal and silver table décor (w/​candles and all), and a great DJ and sound system! The party was going ALL night (Jeremy even stayed past his contracted time because our guests were still going and he didn’t want to stop the party yet)! Whenever there was a tiny lull on the dance floor, Jeremy would turn up the perfect song to get everyone back up and moving. At one point, he came out onto the dance floor and did some breakdancing to get everyone hyped up again! So much fun! Our wedding was such a blast and we know that it would not have been even close to the same with out Party People San Diego! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

We spoke with and researched a lot of DJ’s because music and a good MC was really important to us for our wedding and after speaking with the owner Jeremy and meeting with Nick we were sold on their professionalism and they did not disappoint! As a bride with a million decisions already on my plate, Nick made it painless and easy — we sent him a few songs and the timeline and BAM! He nailed it! He showed up early, and overly prepared, he checked in with us leading up to the wedding, he did a great job MC’ing, and EVERYONE at our wedding has commented on how much fun they had dancing and how good the music was! Andy from Party People was the DJ for my recent wedding at the Bernardo Winery. He really went above and beyond in making sure our day went off without a hitch. He met with us a couple of times before our wedding and provided great entertainment. We had a very specific combination of songs for our first dance and he played them perfectly. He used his voice just enough to get guests where they needed to be and played every song i asked him to during dinner. Andy was so great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Jeremy is the owner and dj’d our wedding in May. We met with him about a month before to go over all the specifics. While meeting with him, he really made the wedding come alive. He did a whole timeline which made us feel really good about how the day was going to go. He had so many suggestions, yet never pressured us to do anything we didn’t want to do. Always told us that he worked for us.
Our wedding day music was amazing — no cheese as Jeremy calls it. Always had the party going and checked in with us to make sure that we knew what was coming up next. He even jumped in at the end of the night and did the worm in our dance circle which got more people to jump in!
We rented the photobooth from party people too. And the photo quality was fantastic! The photobooth attendant was so sweet and great! They had every prop you could think of available as well! Everyone commented on how cool the photobooth was!

We just hired Party People for my husbands 50th birthday party and it was great.
Jeremy was professional, super fast with communication, and easy to coordinate with.
We had Andrew for our DJ and he was awesome, playing what we had requested ahead of time and leaving out what we asked him to. He was on time, friendly & professional.
We also opted for the photo booth which was super fun, I highly recommend it,
our guests had so much fun with that! I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Jeremy delivered above and beyond what we had expected! We had originally wanted a DJ for our wedding but ended up coordinating flowers and chair rentals through him. He was honest from our very first conversation and did a fantastic job across the board!
DJ service: He was involved and helped us coordinate song selections and helped us organize our reception program. His great advice guided us through the organization process and his experience really shined during the reception itself. Accommodating even with last minute changes as well as during the reception, we really felt that he genuinely wanted us to have a great time and would stop at nothing to deliver. We were hesitant in needing the number of uplights he had recommended, but we were way wrong and Jeremy was spot on! The room looked GORGEOUS!
We also ended up going through Jeremy’s referral for our flowers and chairs which ended up being fantastic. Saved us a lot of money and the ballroom was perfect.
Jeremy hit it out of the park with our reception and we would recommend him to ANYONE.

Let me start off by saying Jeremy is right on top of things and always aims to please. He was the DJ at our wedding on February 14, 2016 at the Coronado Community Center. He makes it seem as if you are family and wants everything to go as perfect as can be. He is very detailed on what needs to be done and what needs to happen, not to mention very quick on responding any questions. Jeremy kept our guests dancing all might long. You need to stop looking and hire him ASAP. There is no one better in SD.

I got a call from Jeremy (i think!) today. Unfortunately he was already booked for our wedding date but I was so impressed with his professionalism and eagerness to help. He offered up a ton of tips and what to look for in other DJ’s. He was so helpful and so, so nice. He literally spent 15 minutes talking to me about my wedding and asking me questions about what I was looking for. It’s great to know there are still honest business people out there. I’m bummed that he was booked (although I can see why) but so grateful for his time and advice. If I ever have another need for a DJ, Party People will be at the top of my list.

We booked Jeremy for our company holiday party that was held in San Diego a couple of weeks ago. We are based in San Francisco, and I was worried about dealing with someone out of town but Jeremy was great. He was willing to work with our budget and patient with our internal processes to get him paid.
The actual party was AMAZING and Jeremy was really great. He busted out some awesome dance moves at perfect moments, played great music, took requests like a champ and provided some impromptu sound effects that worked perfectly with some of our speeches. Jeremy is hyper focused on customer service, and cares a lot about what he does and who he does it for. We planned our wedding from another coast and it was easy to trust him as our DJ/​MC. Andy was great and Party People had wonderful customer service!
Andy recently DJ’d our 800 person event at the Central Library in Downtown San Diego. He provided us with a great music selection and even ran a karaōke option for everyone as well. People were still having a great time dancing at the end of the event when we had to shut everything down. Party People and Andy delivered excellent planning, customer service, and flexibility, as well as the great actual DJ service. I would definitely choose them again in the future.

I found Party People San Diego on The Knot while searching for a DJ for my wedding in September. As soon as I emailed what I was looking for, I got a call from Jeremy. He went through my questions and list of preferences, and gave me a quote over the phone. I felt like I definitely made the right choice in contacting him!
As we neared my big day, I was able to give him a tailored list of what songs should be played for each part of my wedding including a must-​play and must-​not-​play list. When we had our consultation, he was super excited with our choices and made me feel extremely secure with the timeline for the ceremony and reception.
On the day of the wedding, he kept everything on schedule and helped with the entire flow of my event. He was extremely professional, a pleasure to work with, and played exactly what we wanted to hear. He was phenomenal about checking in with me throughout the whole evening in regards to how things were going and the order of events. All of my guest had an amazing time on the dance floor, and we all loved the music throughout the entire wedding.
If I had another event to plan, I would without question book Jeremy at Party People San Diego to DJ. He seriously helped make our wedding the day we dreamed of! I 150% recommend this company for your wedding or big event.

Jeremy was a pleasure to work with! We had a pretty global audience and our goal was to incorporate music that everyone could relate to and enjoy.
In the beginning we didn’t want to cramp his artistic influence by telling him what songs we wanted played, so we just gave him artist examples and genres. As the date got closer, he asked us for more examples of songs so we sent him a huge list broken down by cocktail, ceremony, dinner and then dancing.
To our delight he did a really amazing job blending Bengali music, reggae, rock, rap and hip hop. I was impressed by how he edited the inappropriate words from some hip-​hop songs without making it feel to sanitary. He was able to get tons of our guests dancing with crowd pleasing songs in the beginning and the ramped it up to cater more towards our younger guests.
He also was an expert at facilitating the flow of the event and keeping us on schedule. His assistant was also videoing the whole event so we’re super excited to see the footage. Our night would not have been so cohesive and stress free if it weren’t for Jeremy and his assistant. They were very professional and really turned up our event!

Jeremy and I have found ourselves working together at many weddings this summer (I own an event lighting company). Seeing as I setup before the event I only get to see how things are going when I return at the end of the night. I always take it as a good sign that well into the evening Jeremy still has everyone out of their seats dancing and having a good time. He has been in the industry a long time, loves what he does and it shows.
On a professional level, at the conclusion of each event, after he has worked many hours he is always happy to chat and give advice to a vendor such as myself new to the industry. I might have to throw a party just to have him DJ.
