After meeting with several painters, we decided that David and his company would do the best job. We weren’t disappointed. After he visiting our house, he sent a thorough proposal with reasonable pricing. His interior design consultant then came out and helped us pick colors, which is a huge value add. His crew, including his son Ryan, did a fantastic job. They were respectful and quick. Our carpet is pure white and we asked them to wear booties which they did on day 3 of a 5 day job. They got a little paint on the carpet and David paid for a carpet cleaner. Mistakes happen but David and his team are true pros — they listened to our concerns, responded, and fixed everything. We just had them come back to do a few minor touchups and they did a great job. Can’t recommend David and his team enough.

We needed an office and accent wall painted in our engineering office and David and his helper were exceptionally professional and thorough. He did not overcharge and I feel it was a fair price for a quality paint job done in a timely manner. He also followed up regularly during the job and made sure we were happy with the progress. I interviewed David to paint the interior of my new house. I spoke to 3 other painting contractors before hiring him. He has painted 4 or 5 other homes in my neighborhood. We are extremely happy with his work. The crew was very pleasant and showed up early everyday. The paint crew clearly got along well and always had a smile. I recommend David and his crew without hesitation!
We were getting our old house ready to go on the market and it needed a fresh coat of paint. I had David and a few other recommended painters out to bid the job but ultimately decided on 1−800-Paint-Job because of the competitive price and availability. His crew got the job done in my time frame and did it well. We had the windows cleaned right after they completed the job and the window cleaning crew complimented their work– they said they see lots of bad paint jobs and our house looked great.
We just closed on a new house that was in dire need of paint but also needs some remodeling. I emailed David the day after we took possession asking him to come as soon as he could to bid the new house and get some paint on the walls that wouldn’t be affected by the renovation because we needed to move in quicker than we anticipated. David called me immediately and arrived 2 hours later to give me a bid. Once again the bid was reasonable and they started immediately since we had a tight time constraint. His crew was once again professional and great to work with. This time I utilized his free consultation with a designer to help solidify my paint choices, and I am so glad I did– Candace was helpful and professional as expected.

David and his team are great at painting homes and taking care of the customer. We are so happy with the quality of work. Also, when they are done in the evening, the place is clean and their tools are ready for the next day’s work. This is the second time David has made our home SHINE. Also, he made sure he only painted what needed it. A great powerwash on the stucco made all the difference. He didn’t sell us on something we didn’t need. We will refer David and his team to anyone that will listen!

I would like to think that 1 800 Paint Job does a good job painting, but it’s hard to say since David never got back to me with a modified quote. He came out to my house and was very cordial and professional. He sent me a quote within 24 hours. However when I asked him to modify the quote to exclude a room to lower the price, he never sent it to me. I sent him a few emails requesting it, and he apologized saying he would get it to me. It’s been over three weeks and I still haven’t seen it.

I found 1−800-Paint-Job via Unilocal. David Aguirre was very professional, answered all questions, came to our residence and gave us an estimate very quickly. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and frankly, lower than any other estimate we got. The job was to paint the upstairs of our residence (three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a hallway).
David was able to schedule our job within a week. The painters themselves came on time, left on time, and cleaned up everything both days (our job took 2 days to complete).
Everything went smoothly and we are extremely happy with the results. We will be calling them to do the downstairs when we can afford it next!

I cant believe 1−800-Paint-Job isn’t #1 on Unilocal in S.D. so I am am writing this review to tell everyone out there THEY SHOULD BE!
Why? In this day and age when businesses often focus mainly on their bottom line and provide service accordingly, it is SO refreshing to find a business like 1800-​Paint-​Job! Not only did David show up exactly on time each time he came out to discuss our project, he and his crews were courteous, professional, CLEAN, and efficient. They obviously take pride in their own work– I watched one of the guys inspect his own work from different angles and actually go back and make sure it was to his his own standards.
And just because the quality of work from 1−800-Paint –Job is amazing, it doesn’t mean they are not affordable; their quotes were very comparable to their competitors I found on Unilocal.
I can go on and on about David and his guys, but I will end with this; it may be hard to believe that companies that value delivering high quality work at reasonable prices still exist, but if you call 1−800-Paint-Job, you will find that THEY DO!

Stop here, these guys are hands down THE BEST!
I found 1−800-Paint-job via a referral, we were getting ready to close escrow on a new house and rent out the condo we were living in – we had to do work on both and had a short time to get it all done.
David Aguirre came out at MY convenience to provide an estimate at each of the properties, he’s super friendly, professional and VERY easy to deal with…
But wait, it gets better… his estimate was very reasonable and as a part of their service they even have a color consultant who will come out and talk ‘color’ and help you pick what’s going to not only fit your vision but what’s going to look best on the walls…
But wait, it gets better… We had some unexpected date shifts trying to close escrow on the new house, David was totally understanding and worked with me to get things done within our schedule despite me being a pain in the @ss and changing the start date like 3x… most contractors would have thrown us to the back of the list.
Then the actual ‘work’ started – awesome crew! Conscientious, careful, clean nice guys who really seem to be happy about their jobs. They did above and beyond what we’d expected in terms of the completeness and level of detail. I’m really, really picky and I have to tell you I was impressed!
If you’re looking for professionals, reasonable pricing, crews who are on time and do things right the 1st time, look no further, THESE ARE THE GUYS!

Wow… fast & professional service! I recently bought an investment townhouse in RB area and it needed some serious renovation. Called a couple of local paint companies to provide estimates, I ended selecting David because of price & the fact he was extremely professional & courteous, he even arrived 10 minutes ahead of appointment time.
We took 10 minutes to walk thru the property and discussed what I was looking for, he thanked me for the opportunity and off he went… no nonsense and no extra sales pitch… emailed me the official quote that evening which was great. Price was not the lowest but testimonials & past client reference list was helpful.
The decision was easy at that point, and paint crew came & completed the job as scheduled. Found out its a family business cuz David’s son came out everyday to supervise the job. Nice and professional team, they pleasantly listened & immediately complied when I caught a few minor cosmetic items and asked them to address those.
I will definitely call David again to estimate my next project.

Initially all went well, they seemed a nice crew. This was a large painting job on a large and high end home.
Because they didn’t use masking tape in the window frames they splattered paint all over the glasses. When I told them about it they said no problem we will clean it. But they scrape it with a razor blade leaving permanent scratches all over the windows.
Their insurance ended up not covering it and now it is in our hands. The painting job was ~$ 4000 and the repair of all the glasses severely damaged are $ 5000. Need to say more? Would never recommend them. Not professional or they would have paid for the repairs.

I don’t know how I got so lucky as to find David Aguirre and 1−800-Paint-Job of SD for my painting needs. Previously, I had rented my home out for a year and was shocked when I returned to see the mess left behind. I called David — he came right out and helped me figure out how we could give the house a necessary makeover and stay within my budget.
His crew is terrific; always very polite; pleasant; with an attention to detail. There were no unwelcome surprises or after-​the-​fact excuses; in fact, every day I would leave them to do their work while I went to mine; and came home to what always amounted to amazing progress and a quality beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
I wouldn’t leave my painting projects to any company other than 1−800-Paint-Job of San Diego; and in fact he/​his crew have been back to our house now many, many times for additional projects. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality, professional job, done right at a fair price.
