These guys are totally awesome: Efren, Ramon, and Mike. Very reasonable. I blew out a tire around 9:30 am, and they worked all day to get both the tire and damaged rim replaced, and even found a hub cap that fit precisely — charged me a little less for it b/​c it wasn’t the exact model of the car. Great dispositions, friendly, keep checking on the waiting customers, and comfy red pleather sofas inside the shop while you wait. I’d highly recommend this place to everybody who needs new tires, rims, et cetera. Totally HONEST, and great prices.

When a place advertises a set of used tires on craigslist over and over again, you’d expect them to actually have it in stock. Instead, they just happen to be out of the ones advertised. bait and switch nonsense. So instead of $ 35 each, it’s $ 80. and little tread.

Stopped in here cuz I was in the area. I had bent my rim when tire hit a curb a few days ago. This place has awesome customer service. Humble and truly there for helping customers, this is one of those places. Efron is friendly and eager to get you back on the road as soon as possible. Service time was 10 – 15 minutes for new rim and tire rotation. Price was affordable. Genuinely good people here, I’d go back for service again if needed. So grateful!

RIP OFF ALERT!!! Would go lower than 1 star if I could.
Had a nail hole which needed patching last year. They said $ 15 on the phone, tried to raise the price when I arrived. Then they robbed me last year. On a set of used tires. I bought them because I was going to sell my car and did not want to buy a set of new tires, of course. Well, the front tires wore out quickly, and I went to Bear’s and got two more for much less than this place was charging. Then I noticed a huge bulge in one rear tire. Took it back to Performance, (Efren?) said, «you must have hit something.» Maybe, but still, the tire’s six months since purchase. He quoted me «$ 60 — $ 70 for a used tire». I asked for some consideration since I’d bought the last set of 4 there. «$ 50». Never again. Bear’s Tires from now on. They’re off Miramar Rd., worth the drive.

Good dudes work here and they hooked me up on set of 4. Would highly recommend to others and I would certainly go there again. In and out within 15 minutes.. cant beat that.

Great place for good deals on tires! Used and new! Best prices in town! I needed a patch and they did the work in 10 mins and I was on my way! Discount trie was gonna take 3 hours and they were total jerks! I’ve purchased tires from these guys also and never had any issues! I totally recommend them! Go check them out!

Mike the owner is extremely helpful. My front two tires had been leaking air for some time and no one had ever taken the effort to help me figure out why and get to the bottom of the problem. Mike and his team uncovered my rims were going bad– cracks on the inner rims caused air gaps between the tire and rim. He had his team weld/​sand my rims to get rid of the cracks (included — no extra charge at all). He then helped me get a new tire at a great price to replace the one that had gone bad. We also discussed options for a whole new set of rims given the age/​general deterioration of mine on my Lexus and he gave me different, price-​competitive options to consider for when I’m ready to make that purchase. Fast, attentive service — we will continue to go back for our tire needs!

Bought rims with wheels at a great deal, other places were way expensive. Owner was nice and helpful. Staff was fast with changing my wheels out in 30 min

Well, the Unilocal was good so I went here and got 2 tires. The price was competitive, but the balancing weights feel off one tire and they broke off my tire pressure sensors.
Getting the pressure sensors fixed is more than the cost of the tires. I’m having another shop rebalance.

Went in for simple tire change & balance for my 2009, 3281 BMW w/​performance run flats (which most places can’t do, or charge you up the wazoo).
When I arrived at the shop, I was eagerly met by Joel (and that NEVER happens). Since it was referred by Chris, he got me right in.
Joel and his crew were super on point. Told them exactly what I needed and wanted and they got it done right away. No up sell, No funny business. And to top it all off, I walked away not feeling like I got my wallet stolen.

been back two times since my initial review for emergency help, they are consistently awesome.

I was at Petsmart and happened to see the sign for this place. I was about to head home to start making phone calls to see who/​where I could find the cheapest prices for some used/​retreaded tires. We pulled into this place and were immediately greeted. I was given an option of two different tires for my SUV. The price was so great for the Bridgestone that I decided I didnt even need to shop around. I immediately pulled my car into the bay, they changed my tire out, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They will also give you a good deal if you pay in cash/​debit (rather than a credit card) and will negotiate prices with you. Very nice guys, very quick service, and a good selection of tires.

Based on reviews here and the fact that they had the best price for high performance michelin tires I made an appointment. Excellent service… above and beyond. Plus, they did the job fast and offered free rotation. Will definitely use for future tire needs.

Cant say enough wonderful things about this place! My husband and I originally went to discount tire, they were so rude! Took a chance on Performance tire and thank God we did! They were so informative on what was best for our truck even if it meant we were spending less. Everyone was so kind from the front of store to the back! My daughter even left her Ariel doll there and they wrapped it and saved it for her. There are many tires and rims to choose from. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they can order you anything you want and it’s their next day! They made sure everything fit perfect and sensors on truck were synced for new tires and rims. We have already got so many compliments on rims and tires and even more so when we tell them price!
PS I dont speak spanish but I did not encounter anyone who had trouble speaking English in fact had conversation with just about everyone in shop.

went there yesterday and got my tires that i ordered and gave me a great deal on some tires. i like the service and i will be back there soon for me second set of rims that need tires. ask for Joel and he will take good care of you.

My dear friends at SD Bus and Auto sent me here when I had a mishap with my tires and needed to replace one. I arrived, they greeted me and directed me where to park, and went to work. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. You read that right, TEN MINUTES.
What a relief. I will be back when I need to buy a whole new set of tires.
I just wish they had one person on staff a little more comfortable with English, when I arrived it seemed no one really knew what I was saying…
Edited to add: While i have not gone back for another purchase with this location, I have had a wonderful experience with them since posting this review and as such, would like to update my previous review. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

OK so we shopped around our entire area for pricing and courtesy and we ended up here because of both. Friendly, funny. honest, nice and great products and tires. I went in got two tires that i needed and they even fixed the back tire that had a nail in it. took all of about 15 minutes… may be in a bad location to get to but I would pay these guys my money before some tire chain that runs false ads in the penny saver that expire in a week lol. This came highly recommended from our car guy also. Doug at San Diego Auto Bus… great place as well.
