Piersall Day & Night Car Wash

I’ve been using this car wash for decades and never had any issues. Tonight I decided to bring my husband’s car for a wash as a nice Father’s Day surprise. I didn’t realize until I got there that I didn’t have any cash. I found 4 quarters for the vacuum/​air freshener machine and decided to use my card for the wash. I followed the instructions on the machine to pay with my credit card. I was charged but the machine didn’t start. I decided to move to a self service stall and was able to wash the car for $ 2.75 using my card. Per the sign on the wall, I text the number listed explaining the situation and I got an immediate response, at 10pm on a Saturday night, and my card was refunded on the spot. The owner was super nice and refunded me right away without any questions asked. That definitely deserves 5 stars in my book! Thanks, Suzanne!

Just done washing my car at this location. Overall, the area was kept clean and bright. Only knocking off 2 stars is because then triple foam conditional equipment took like 30 seconds before anything comes out of it and after that the next 15 sec small stream of condition came out then following that more came out. In total wasted about 45 sec.
Other then that most of the stuff were in good shape.

After my initial, negative review I received a message from management apologizing for the poor experience. While I won’t bother going through the hassle, and I probably won’t wash my car here again, I do have to give them a few extra stars for their personal approach. I appreciate good customer service as much as anybody, and the management here actually give a damn.

Not a bad price at all! $ 2 for 4 minutes. I only used the pressure rinse option though so you may spend a bit to actually wash the car.
However, $ 2.75 to wash the sand and salt water off my kayak and the sand off my car… Not bad at all!
The place its self… Smelled a lot like urine, was pretty gross. Good news is, you only have 4 minutes so you are moving pretty fast and don’t notice after a while. Also, the owner really should come by more and pressure wash the grand and walls. They were pretty dirty.

Lisa is a very kind self-​serve business owner. One can’t expect a «better than hand» job by any self-​serve for less than $ 20 in town. At least this business takes care of their customer base. Kudos on the customer service

Had an issue of being overcharged but the owner responded quickly and explained everything and credited back the difference to my card.

DON’T WASTE YOUR $$$! The full service bay was a total waste of money. $ 8.00 gets you about 3 minutes of wash and water and it is NOT spot-​free. It should be called «Nothing but spots!» I had the same experience about a year ago and decided to give the new looking equipment another try. Disappointed again! Might as well take my vehicle to Prestige and get a regular car wash and drive away happy without spots!

Not bad at all. It’s $ 2 to start and I ended up paying $ 4. After the wash there are plenty of parking spaces to dry off your car. Ill come back again.

This place does it’s job. I’m pretty sure the 15 dollars put on a previous reviewers bank account was the hold one typically sees when purchasing something where the purchase price is undetermined. It was the same when I used my card. It’s to make sure you have enough money to wash your car :)
Anyways, from what I remember there were 5 stalls, each with vacuums before you enter the wash area. There’s also an auto-​wash in the center but looked like it was under construction or being fixed when I used the place.
One thing I find novel is there a hand held air dryer to dry your car after washing. No need for a towel, but it’d probably be cheaper to use a towel anyways. It goes against your time to use the air dryer and isn’t all that effective.

They corrupted my checking account after I put my debit card; Only used it for 2 MINUTES and I got chraged 15 bucks!
I also put my 6 dollar worth of quarters in that machine!
Don’t use your debit card in here! time to call my bank customer service.

pros… if you are in the area, than you know that this is the only self car wash around. but this one can get pretty busy because of this fact. but wow the power from the hose that i used was just amazing. i felt that it could peel the paint off my car. so that caked on bird pooh pooh would pose it no problem. it also did a great job on my caked on brake dusted rims. works great, but be wary of any trim pieces that are not securely fastened to your car, you may be chasing them down the drain.
cons… busy, busy, busy on weekends. this place of course only takes coins. so save all your quarters when you need to have a car wash. also i think one of the hoses is on a faster timer then the other ones.

I prefer to wash my car myself, so I was happy to find this place! It has a limited number of stalls but I’ve never been at a time when they were all full. They offer the usual things: pre-​soak, foam brush, soap spray, rinse, and spot-​free rinse. There are also a few things I haven’t tried myself, such as the engine/​tire cleaner and dryer. When you’re finished washing your car, you can pull up to their vacuums to clean up your floormats and seats.
You can’t bring your own cleaning supplies and use them in the stall of course, but there is plenty of parking nearby where you can pull up after washing and spot clean with a cloth or wipe down the wheels.
I believe it is open any time of day or night, as I’ve stopped by pretty late in the evening before. The cost is $ 2 to start. I usually end up spending $ 5 total. They accept payment by credit card as well if you don’t have any small bills or change on you.
