Guy was very professional called to let me know when he was on his way. When he saw the doors and type of locks he immediately said he could get the lock open and re-​key the locks to have one master key for all 4 doors. It was a challenge because the doors had not been opened for a while, but he was able to get them open! Woo hoo! His price was reasonable and will definitely call him for any locksmith services we may need in the future.

I needed to change my mailbox lock and Guy was very helpful, nice, and fast!
My mailbox had a different type of lock than Guy was expecting, so Guy was unable to change the lock when I first met him. However, he was very accomodating, bought the special lock needed, and was able to come back the next day to change it.
He even showed me how to change my lock so I could do so myself in the future. He gave me a discount and also accepts credit cards. Very easy to communicate with through Unilocal messaging. Great service!

try this guy. dont try to google and dont even call the major companies on google page on the top. The major ones are connected each other and they all know you once you tried to call one of them and they charge you so much to get extra money from their ads. Visited Torrey Pines State Reserve today. Unfortunately, lost my car fob somewhere on the hike. No clue where to turn.
Based on the Unilocal reviews, I contacted Guy and filled him in. He told me he would give me a call back in 5 minutes after he checked with his resources to see if he could provide me with a new key today. In the meantime, I contacted AAA. While I was speaking with them, Guy called me back with a quote, which was high but expected, given the prices I saw online. AAA was helpful but assured me that their contractors could not help until Monday when the dealership service department was open. I spoke again with Guy and he revised his initial quote to one that seemed very reasonable, with assurances that his agent would be out to my location in an hour. I verbally contracted with him and was confident he would provide the services agreed upon.
Thankfully, for me, my key fob was turned into the ranger station at Torrey Pines. However, Guy was super helpful and I was completely ready to rely on him and his services.

Guy was great to work with. Called so many different locksmiths and they were all very quick to tell me about the service fee and how much they charge for things I didn’t call for, but Guy took the time to listen to what I needed and was here doing the job with in 20 minutes. I have never ever needed the services of a locksmith until it was clear that someone with a key to the studio that I rent had entered while I was not here, helping themselves to a pair of ladybug house slippers! Who cares about the slippers? After informing my landlady of the missing item and learning no one else had a key as far as she knew, I filed an informal, police report then had the good fortune of doing business with Guy at Pro Locksmith. These guys are great! I lost the keys to my car. Its one of those smart key fobs for a push button start. The dealership quoted me 380, PLUS I had to pay to tow my car there putting me at 500 bucks just for a key. They quoted me only 350, plus no towing required! With a little delay getting out to my house (which was no problem) they got me a new key along with emergency key. Their customer service is wonderful and I highly recommend to anyone! Will definitely be using them again if I ever need a service they can provide.

Best locksmith ever! Very prompt and very efficient. Changed out 7 locks for me in two separate trips. Keys work very smoothly with no issues so far.
Guy also helped me get into a locked storage door because of a sticky latch. He was smart on how to reduce damage to door – no damage whatsoever! He’s going to help me make sure the new door hardware is installed correctly so that the issue won’t occur again – a contractor originally installed it and did a bad job.

Had an issue with a bad door lock that wouldn’t open. It was locked and could not even open it from the inside. I called and scheduled an appt. for the following morning. He was on time and took care of the problem inside of ½ hr. Removed the bad door handle and replaced it for me. Not only that, but he noticed the door was set wrong so he adjusted the latch in the door frame so it could lock smoothly at no additional cost. The price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend this guy.

Needed the house re-​keyed because the front door had a different key than the side/​garage doors, plus the side/​garage door locks and deadbolts were pretty much worn out and hard to use. We called Guy of Pro Locksmith San Diego (based on Unilocal reviews) the morning of July 03 for a house call appointment. He was busy that day but said he would be here 10:30 am July 04 (a holiday). He arrived on time and was very kind, helpful and professional. His price was very reasonable considering he had to drive 20 miles to our house, install 3 new locks and deadbolts (better built than the originals) on a holiday, plus we were his only appointment that day. He didn’t overcharge us for the holiday visit.
We recommend him and will use him again if the need arises.

Have had the «pleasure» of working with Guy 3 times. Once was locked out with my baby, second was to rekey our entire home, and third was today when my toddler managed to lock herself inside the house alone. The third time was the scariest. I somehow got my front door key jammed in a position where I couldn’t pull it out or open the door. Luckily I had keys for the back doors that were different so I could get in the house. I called at 730 pm thinking I was going to get an answering machine. However I got a real person and he said he can be over in 30 minutes. I could not believe I heard the door ring 30 minutes later and there was Guy to the rescue. He fixed it in about 15 minutes and only charged $ 95. I was expecting much more since it was a night call.

I found Guy (that’s his name, not a generic «that guy») through the Living Social deal site, checked out his stellar reviews on Unilocal,and called him to replace all deadbolts and door levers throughout my house. He was GREAT to work with! He returned my call promptly, his fee quote was reasonable, he showed up on time, installed everything quickly, and re-​keyed the deadbolts to match each other… all in under a couple of hours. What else could I possibly ask for?

Need your home locks re-​keyed? Guy’s your guy! I contacted this establishment with my question (s) re: services, and Guy was pretty good about getting back to me in a fairly timely manner. Given his ratings on Unilocal,I figured 67 persons’ overwhelmingly positive/​5 star ratings can’t all be wrong, eh?
For 3 locks re-​keyed and 4 keys to go with, Guy and I settled on a price, date and time. He showed up literally on the dot. I mean ON. THE. DOT. all the way from La Jolla to deep So. San Diego. Wow! Not only did he show up on time, it took him 45 mins to re-​key 4 locks. One of which I did not have the key for. And he made 4 keys for me. He was gracious enough to not charge me for the fourth lock re-​key, instead, just for the cylinder replacement.
Pleasant, courteous and punctual, I couldn’t ask for a better experience. What’s more, he knows what he’s doing, and didn’t try to scam me. Thank you, Guy! I appreciate your skills set, and hope you get lots of business!
