I accidently locked myself outside of my apartment on a holiday where my leasing office was closed… Luckily this place was open and nearby!
I called to have my door unlocked and the locksmith was at my house within 15 mins. And it took less than 5 mins to unlock my door. What a lifesaver!
If I should ever lock myself out again, I would call them up! Very friendly also.

Got 4 house keys made, plus a few color rings and a tag. Friendly, fast service. My toddler grandson is a key lover, and the shop was kind enough to give a half dozen old keys for him. He loves them.

I’ve used Alan 3 times now to change our locks and he’s awesome. Always on time, friendly, and reasonably priced. He’s the only locksmith i’ll ever need to call!

My fiancé and I were having great difficulty getting in to our condo with our keys. Our landlord was not able to come out until the following business day and asked us to call a locksmith. I google searched and found this company. And boy am I glad that I did! The gentleman that answered the phone calmed my nerves and said that he would be there in 20 minutes. I was very relieved! He was very prompt and let us know exactly what the problem was with the lock. He made us new keys and changed out the lock completely in about 20 minutes. He was very professional and very kind! First I contacted a guy off google. His website said starting at 29.00 for lock replacement. Well guess what he tried to charge for a front door simple lock replace? 295.00. The guy advertise as a Poway business but had no building in poway. To top it off he had no truck pulled up in a car with a tool bag. After he left I called Alan at Scottish Locksmith. Alan new all about guys like this. Alan fixed my front door lock and went the extra mile to make sure I could still use my same key. Price was more than fair. Thanks!

My wife was staying with her sister with our two kids (6 week old and two year old) and the front door shut on her as she was grabbing some bags from outside. She was locked out of the house and kids crying inside. I called these guys and within 30 minutes, they were at the house and my wife was let inside. 10 Stars if I could and very affordable. This is a late review but I called and was seen within the next hour. Excellent service and great prices. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend.

Alan answered my call right away and arranged to be at my house within 4 hrs. He diagnosed the old lock was a goner and provided me with quick quote and have the lock right is his truck. My door lock is replaced within 30 min. His service is quick, clean. friendly and very professional. Got good pricing. I would highly recommend him.

Alan was extremely responsive. He rekeyed six locks and provided us new keys in just under a half hour. He has done locksmith work for my elderly mother as well and she cannot say enough good things about him. He is very reasonably priced and could not be nicer. As far as I’m concerned, there is no other locksmith you should bother with.

I have used Alan in the past and have always enjoyed his professionalism, good personality and reasonable pricing. But this weekend he went above and beyond and I can’t say enough nice things about him .
It was important I get some locks re keyed over a weekend and called him on a Friday, he was super sorry but he could not make it out to my new home until Monday due to work and personal weekend obligations. I understood and booked with a different company and texted Alan I would see him next time.
A few moments later he texted me and asked who I had hired for the next day. I told him and he knew that company were scammers and overcharged and used inferior products.
He was so concerned for me he changed his weekend plans to ensure it was he who changed my locks and not the scammer company. I was beyond grateful and will never use anyone else ever again… Thanks Alan!

We needed our locks changed for good measure after purchasing our new home. I called The Scottish Locksmith, and he was able to come the next day. Fast, courteous, and thorough. Price seemed reasonable, I just don’t have anything to compare it to, to say for sure. All around great service.

The Scottish Locksmith is definitely the best locksmith in the San Diego area. Alan is very serious about doing the best job he can do.
