We also carry wool, nylon and recycled carpet, tile, natural stone and other unique green flooring products to help you make an informed decision without being overwhelmed.

Over the past 30 years, Mik and I have been fortunate enough to work directly with some of the top realtors, designers and contractors in San Diego.

History

Established in 1986.

This company started as Solana Wholesale floors back in the mid 80’s and Dave Bone was the original installer for Rick and Debra the previous owners. A few years later when Dave transitioned into the sales side of the business elsewhere, Mik took over as the main installation crew for the business.

Jeanne purchased the store around the year 2000 and retained Mik Zsiros as the lead installer and continued to provide excellent customer service and attention to detail. In late 2007 Dave stepped in to help Jeanne as she transitioned from the coast highway and moved over to our north cedros building. This turned out to be a pivotal move by lowering overhead almost 50% to allow us to survive the economic downturn of the past few years.

Mik Zsiros purchased the store in 2008 and retained Dave to manage and run the sales and marketing operations. Since then, we have been able to provide our clients with exceptional value and an incredible amount of installation experience in our industry.

Meet the Manager

David Bone D.

Manager

David comes from a family that has been in the flooring industry for three generations. His Grandfather started selling and installing hardwood floors here in Southern California in 1947.

David began installing floors professionally at age 20 for his Father’s store. He tranistioned into the sales and client consulting side of the business in 1990.

He has had the opportunity to work with many of the top designers in San Diego on projects like the Rock Bottom restaurant downtown, the National Association of Music Museum in Carlsbad, high rise condo suites as well as many custom homes.
