Proven has given me the opportunity to gain valuable experience in my career. After I graduated I was looking for work in my field but could not find any opportunities. I reached out to Proven to guide me with my job search and they helped me out tremendously. Toan gave me the opportunity to work for a great company and I would recommend him to anyone.

I’m writing this review in regards to my experience working with Katherine Baker and Ron Bell at Proven, Inc. I’ve worked with many recruiters in the past and they are by far the best in the industry. Katherine had originally reached out to me to check up on how I was doing at my current job at the time and offer to just talk about what opportunities were available in the accounting/​finance industry. She took the time to give an honest opinion about the pros/​cons of different jobs and was extremely knowledgeable of the market in San Diego. After Katherine listened to the types of opportunities that I was interested in, she immediately emailed me a few companies with openings that matched my interests. Beyond this initial follow-​up, when she heard a specific company that I was interested in had an opening, she immediately called me before the job was even posted! Katherine reviewed my resume to offer advice and suggested that I create a list of relevant experience since I didn’t have direct experience with the type of role that I applied for, which turned out to be very helpful.
After getting me an interview with the company, Katherine and her boss, Ron, took the time before both my first and second round interview to prep me for the interview and offer advice. They both touched base with me almost every day to update me on anything they heard from the company. Both Katherine and Ron are extremely genuine people, which is why I will say they are the best in the industry. They are very concerned with helping both the candidate and the companies that they are working with find the right fit. They strive to create long-​term relationships with their clients and their business goals go far beyond numbers. Even after accepting my new job (which I absolutely love thanks to Katherine and Ron!), they took me to lunch and continue to check in still to see how I’m doing. I would recommend Proven Inc., specifically Katherine and Ron, to anyone looking for their new dream job!

After about two weeks I had interviewed with LPL Financial and received a job offer. It was for temporary work but honestly works great for what I was looking for as a new grad.

I recently moved to the San Diego area and have been working with Jeff B. at Proven for the past few months. I’ve done contracting before and have dealt with many recruiters over the past few years, so I know the process very well. The people at Proven are professional, efficient, and do a great job finding positions you’re actually interested in (rather than throwing jobs at you just so they can submit as many candidates as possible). They provide you with all the tools you need to be successful and always follow up with you to get your feedback and listen to your concerns.
A position hasn’t worked out for me quite yet, but that’s just because I didn’t have a great interview, so totally independent of Proven and their abilities. You can’t really blame the recruiter if your interview is rescheduled or the person canceled, since they don’t have control over that. They’ll facilitate the interview as best they can and then you really have to take it from there.
I’m giving this place 5 stars because every interaction I’ve had with them has been exactly what I would want as a job-​seeker and that’s all I can ask for. I will definitely recommend them in the future whenever my company is looking to bring someone on.
