PuroClean Emergency Services is locally owned and operated by Patrick Guiant, a former 15-​year firefighter and paramedic with years of experience in emergency response and dealing with threatening situations. When my rental property had water damage during the January storms, I talked to three different water remediation contractors who wanted to pretty much rip out every wall that had been touched by ground water. It didn’t seem quite right to me, and with tenants in the property I wanted to find the least disruptive approach that would still be thorough. I finally found PuroClean and I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Chris said, «no, we don’t need to take a wrecking ball to your house.» Rather than following arbitrary guidelines, they seemed to be tailoring the treatment to my specific situations. Unfortunately as they opened up some kitchen walls they found old mold, but they were able to handle it again without using the most extreme (or most costly) measures. They were very efficient and communicated well throughout the process. When we wrapped it all up, I mentioned that I would surely use them again if needed in the future, and I think Chris said, ‘Well hopefully you won’t!” Well, lucky me, barely 3 months later another water leak wreaked havoc in the kitchen. This time I went straight to PuroClean and have had a similarly excellent experience. I even decided to have them oversee subcontracting of the post-​remediation repairs because they are so professional and efficient in handling all the steps in the process… also communicating well with our tenant, who I just noticed has posted a 5 star review here too! They deserve it.

Our kitchen has flooded twice in the last four months – uggh. But thankfully we have had the PuroClean team to rely on amidst the otherwise chaotic situation. Chris and Paul handled everything as if it were their own kitchen. They take time to answer all my questions and make any accommodations I request regarding timing and how they partition the space so I can still use as much of the kitchen as possible. I have been consistently impressed by Paul’s level of pride in his work and his kind, professional demeanor. This company has really put the silver lining on an otherwise frustrating situation.

My office flooded with the recent storms in San Diego and thank god for Chris and Victor at Puroclean! These guys came in, took charge and made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish. We all have busy lives and these guys made mine a lot easier with handling all the little details.

I’m editing my previous unfavorable review here and giving PuroClean 5 stars. After they cancelled two appointments on me, the owner of the company, Patrick, caught wind of it and came to my house and conducted the inspection late this afternoon. He was very apologetic for the poor service I had received and he was extremely professional and thorough. He took a significant amount of time to check all areas of the house, explained things to me, listened to my concerns and answered my questions. He even called shortly after leaving my home as he thought of another solution that might help my mold issue; this demonstrated significant dedication and professionalism and made me feel like a valued customer and concern. I have a lot of confidence in him and his service. I would certainly recommend him for any mold issues/​remediation.

If PuroClean is called… there is a problem. How fortunate I was to have the highly professional team at PuroClean come to the rescue. I had mold and was very upset at being displaced. Paul at PuroClean came in, diagnosed the problem, organized the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, reliable, and dependable crew to get rid of the mold and get me back to normal .Paul is available, returns calls, gets done what he says he will do, when he says he will do it. It was a pleasure to have Puroclean during a most trying time. I can not recommend them enough and wish I could think of something even nicer to say…

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company — specifically Chris, Pat, Casey, and Paul. I hired them for a biohazard clean-​up. They were amazing. The nicest, most professional, helpful guys. This ended up being a much more complex job than any of us expected. A one day job turned into a week. Chris called and/​or e-​mailed me daily with updates. They did not stop until my condo was back to perfection. They worked with my schedule and were always there when they said they would be. I highly recommend them to anyone. This is a truly honest company and they care.

I called PuroClean to help me with my restaurant — we had a grease/​sewage back up that spilled out into the restaurant. Pat was wonderfully honest and said while it wasn’t something they normally work on he knew someone honest who could and then he went on to call that gentleman for me since it was on a Sunday and I wouldn’t be able to get a hold of him via the business number. Pat called me back with all the information I needed to move forward quickly. Pat was really forthcoming and helpful on a Sunday morning when he didn’t have to be. I will definitely call PuroClean in the future.

Won’t find a more honest, trustworthy group of professionals. As a Property Manager, I’ve had my fair share of water and mold remediation issue. Pat and his team are prompt, reliable, and will do only what is absolutely necessary to restore your home or office to it’s original condition. They don’t come in like gangbusters and start ripping out walls and cabinets like some other companies. They get the job done right and will never price gouge you. I have heard nothing but positive comments from insurance companies who have dealt with PuroClean too. If you have an emergency this is the company to call.

PuroClean is definitely the company you want to go with during an emergency! We had our dishwasher flood our living-​room. PuroClean came promptly, and quickly did what was needed to dry up everything, so that we would not have mold issues later. The fans were in place quickly, and they checked in regularly to make sure everything was drying as planned.
I also want to put in a positive word for the owner Patrick. Patrick personally helped us diagnose, not only the source of the leak (the dishwasher), but helped us understand that the dishwasher had a manufacturer’s defect. The pictures that PuroClean took helped us to claim a settlement with the dishwasher’s manufacturer (amazingly enough, no one from the manufacturer even needed to see the defect themselves, that’s how good their pictures were in terms of evidence). Patrick is a great guy, and his company is excellent and very professional!

Pat came out today to look at some water damage in our bathroom. He advised us that there was no remediation or professional clean up needed. He then gave me some great tips how to avoid growing mold and how to clean up the damage myself. Would call again if necessary. Highly recommend.

I hired PuroClean to come out when I came home to find my water heater leaking in my garage. They were at my house within 30 minutes and managing the water damage in my garage. The wall is shared with my kitchen so they made sure to check everything very efficiently. The staff was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. They even went above and beyond their scope because they recommended several plumbers they have worked with in the past that would be able to bring and install a new water heater. I was up and running with a new water heater within 2 hours from the time of finding the water damage. I also want to say that the plumber they recommended brought a water heater and installed for the same price if not cheaper than I could have bought at Home Depot unistalled.
I will call them again for sure with any water or mold issues that I have in the future. They are a very reputable and stand up company and that is sometimes hard to find these days =)

Puro clean is an extremely professional company who ps first priority is getting you back to normal after an fire or flood. I am a painting contractor and work with a variety of contractors and Puro Clean really knows how to get the job done right and get you back to normal ASAP
