First of all — I apologize this review is so LONG OVERDUE! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Red Tree Realty to buy our very first home. We had just married in November of 2013 and knew we wanted to wait to start house-​hunting until we got a little more settled in. Truthfully, I wasn’t very hopeful knowing that the average house in San Diego is $ 500k+ (or at least the good ones) and was worried we wouldn’t find anything within our price range (which was more the $ 400k area). Justin never once allowed us to feel discouraged or that our budget was «too low». Everyday he had new listings for us and was on top of scheduling appointments to see new homes. We’d see 2−4/day and always around our schedule/time…which I felt super guilty for because it was always during rush hour after I got off work at 4:30−5pm (sorry!).
Justin always gave professional advice… allowing us to make our own decisions and supporting us either direction we decided to go (multiple bids, negotiations, walking away from a home or counter offers, etc). He even thought «outside the box» and showed us a home that didn’t fit our complete «must have» list. I was hesitant at first (because it was a 2 bedroom when we wanted a 3 bedroom), but figured «why not» since we happened to be in the area looking at another home already. We put a total of three offers out… with the third one being the charm (yup, the 2 bedroom one — who would have thought?)! We were just finishing the last month of our lease in PB and almost set to move in with my parents to save money while we continued to look for a house… thinking we’d be looking for half a year… maybe 1 year MAX. But we never had to step foot in their home because we found our own only a month after we 1^st started looking! I would have never thought we’d find something that soon because most things in our price range went quick!
Justin’s enthusiasm, impeccable communication skills and extreme patience with us will be something I’ll forever be grateful for. Everything he did was in our best interest and I felt comfortable every step of the way. Even now…1 year, 8 months after we’ve bought out home… I had a question on our property taxes (believe me I still have a LOT to learn) and he went out of his way to come to our house and go over our loan information with us. Red Tree Realty will make you feel like family and I love how they continue to stay in touch even long after the fact (we just attended their awesome holiday party and they sure know how to throw an event!). I hope we never have to sell or move into another home (at least not for a very long time), but if/​when we do, we won’t trust anyone else but Red Tree Realty. Thank you, Justin and Seth! :)

Red Tree took over as the Management Company for my condo back in November. Every time I’ve had an issue, work order, or question/​concern, Justin has been prompt, professional, and VERY easy to work with. He responds in a timely matter and I appreciate that so much! Thank you Justin!

Red Tree is top notch. Seth, our agent, made us feel like we were the most important client in San Diego. He was quick to answer any question or respond to any request. He was knowledgable and prepared when we looked at houses. And when we put in offers he quickly wrote them up and continually kept us apprised of any updates. I’ve had the «pleasure» of buying/​selling property in San Diego 3 times now. There are so many Realtors in this town, it’s hard to sort through them and find one that you know is looking out for your best interest and not just their next commission payment. He’s taken the time to understand what I’m looking for and several times brought properties to my attention that I would not have noticed/​found on my own.
