Retro Resale started in 2012 and has recently moved to a warehouse space in Kearny Mesa! You will find vintage and mid century furniture, home décor, clothing, primitives and more.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Retro Resale is the brainchild of Cecelia Sullivan, a native San Diegan with deep roots in the community. She began thrifting as a teenager, which started a lifelong passion for vintage everything! She has always loved yard sales, thrift stores, swap meets and even the occasional dumpster dive in her efforts to obtain an eclectic collection of items ranging from WWII era all the way up into deep 70’s kitsch. She also has always been passionate about the environment, opting to reuse or repurpose rather than buying new whenever possible. After many years in the corporate world, she longed to spend her time doing something creative and inspiring. So, with credit card in hand, she ditched the desk and went on a quest to become a self employed junk addict! She is out in the field scouring the county’s nooks and crannies to bring you a diverse offering of furniture and home décor, kitchen, clothing, industrial, art and oddities, all delivered with a healthy dose of groovy.
