I haven’t dined here but every other day the restaurant looks like it’s opened then shut down ??? Sign up no sign for to days … Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen!

I Unilocaled this place online prior to a lunch break at work. Co-workers asked me to pick some place. The fact this was a Greek-Chinese place seemed interesting. Very contrasting styles. I opted to order off the Greek menu and so did my co workers(who picked the food up). From what they told me the restaurant itself was an eclectic mix… one of the managers there was Chinese, the cooks were Mexican, and there was a African American working somewhere behind the register. It was like a melting pot of ethnicity there from what I was told… anyway the food itself wasn’t cheap. Mine ran somewhere in the $ 11 range. I had the gyro plate and it was a good amount of food. The gyros were perfectly cooked. A side of wild rice, Greek salad, and the pita bread were perfect. My co-workers liked their plates too from what they said. The common theme was the meat was cooked well and was tasty. I would definitely come try this place again for a take out or sit down. Maybe try the Chinese menu next time.

DON’T go here for Chinese food. The food was all flavorless! Our Chow Mein was made from spaghetti, the chicken had almost no meat on it, and the lettuce wraps came with taziki sauce so I don’t know why that was on the Chinese menu… Not sure what their greek food tastes like but this restaurant has no business making Chinese food.

I went here a couple of days ago because my mom told me that it’s run by the same gentleman that had a Greek restaurant in Hillcrest that my family and I would frequent when I was younger. Remembering how great that used to be, I decided to give this place a shot. I’m glad I did. Coming in, I thought it was a little odd that it’s a Greek and Chinese restaurant, but who am I to judge. The restaurant is basically Greek with really nice Greek décor. It just happens to have some Chinese items on the menu. As far as food goes, my friend and I both decided to get the Gyro Plate with some Greek fries(I think that’s what they’re called). It was nicely done and came with a lentil soup and nice Greek salad. Though the fries were cut a little too thick, it wasn’t that big of a deal. What was really nice was the service. It was around 3 or 4PM, so it was pretty slow. That allowed the owner himself time to interact with us, and he was genuinely a great host with a great attitude and pride that really showed. All in all, it was a nice experience and I will definitely drop by again if I’m in the area.

This place was ok. I ordered a kabob sandwich, nothing to remember. Tzatziki wss thin and flavorless. I may have ordered a piece of baklava but the waitress seemed rushed to have us pay for our food. I didnt even look at the Chinese menu since waitress told me they were not serving it. A bizarre marriage of east meets west and they should consider a divorce soon. Won’t go back, very forgettable, move along, nothing to see here.

Seldom is it that one ventures away from the normalcy of one’s own fine dining regimen. Even more seldom still is it that you find a place as exquisite as this. This is one of those hole in the wall, mom an pop shops, that locals rave about and vacationers shall never know the pure excellence that is The Royal Greek & Chinese Restaurant. Expert friendly service and highly accessible chefs are available to give you in-depth information on their food preparation and culinary processes. Everything they do is perfection. Ever tried Costco’s spanakopita? Garbage, right? I’ve Never been a fan of any iteration of spanakopita. However, after ordering the appetizer here, I am now a lover of spanakopita. While the Chinese cuisine is new to their menu, one would never know, as it is just as incredible as the Greek. 5 out of 5!

For starters, my friend and I were drawn here by the Unilocal listing for«Country Kabob Greek Restaurant» which is now… this. Hmm, very confusing(and a bit whacked out, if you ask me!). This restaurant is in a sort of strip mall but facing away from the parking lot, so you have to walk around to the right side to find it(or just follow the signs for what is surely the only Greek/Chinese restaurant on earth). Anyway, once we got in and were seated, it ended up being a very fine Greek meal. The menu is 80% Greek and 20% Chinese but the cook/owner is Greek, the décor is Greek-ish and the waitress was clearly Greek/not completely on board with the«Chinese» thing herself, so order Greek food here, because it’s actually very good! My friend and I shared some hummus and I ordered a chicken kabob platter which was not only delicious and well-prepared but presented with a degree of flair that was frankly unexpected given that they can’t seem to decide what continent their cuisine is from. Being from NYC and having had a lot of Greek food there, I’d say this is pretty up-to-snuff. The erstwhile«Country Kabob» was obviously well liked on Unilocal and in other media for a reason. The prices here are very good, and the service was super-fast(probably because we were the only ones in here at the time), so overall a good choice, though I really do think the Greek/Chinese thing is confusing and driving people away. Hopefully they can figure their lives out here because the food is worth a stop anyway!
