It was simply awesome, from start to finish. I called them for one of our Happy Hour at Union Cowork and The DJ, Alec DJ Tramline Thomas was amazing, he played great music, was really helpful as well.
I would highly recommend them if you want your party on with great music and amazing service !!! Thank you again Alec and all for everything :)!

Art was the DJ for our wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle a few weeks ago. He came highly recommended by our venue coordinator and after our first meeting with Art, it was clear why. He walked us through what the whole wedding day timeline would consist of from top to bottom. We could tell he had a lot of experience with weddings, specifically with our venue.
After our second meeting, we liked him even more after being able to discuss music with him. Music was one of our top priorities for our wedding because it sets the mood and helps to tell our story. DJ Artistic not only provided a perfect soundtrack for our wedding but he also provided the lighting, projector & monogram to help complete the scene. Our wedding was literally the best night of our lives. We had the best freestyler MC Supernatural perform and Art had actually worked with him before which was a surprise to us. The chemistry the two had was amazing. We checked out a few DJs before Art and we know the night would not have been as great without him. In between songs Art even made sure we were taken care of, aside from keeping the night going with music and emceeing each phase of the wedding. We gave him a list of our songs that we wanted for the wedding and each of his personal song choices just elevated the playlist; from cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing. If you want the full package and you want a skillful DJ with a great personality, hire DJ Artistic!

These guys are clutch. I am a local DJ and I reached out to Artistic to rent some equipment for a wedding reception and not only did they give me a decent affordable price for the rental equipment (Speakers & Lights) they even arrived at the time I requested, set it up & broke it down. Thanks to DJ Tramlife & DJ L for the assistance in the set up and break down. They where kind professional & punctual. I paid via paypal and everything I asked for was taken care of. Artistic thanks for always coming through when needed. I plan on using San Diego Best DJs again this summer for another gig.

We hired DJ L upon recommendation for my wife’s 40^th bday and he was as good as it gets. We gave him our recommendations, but he was able to adjust to the crowd very smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SD Best DJs and DJ L.

My Girlfriend’s sister was planning her wedding and we were planning my surprise proposal to her sister. I let her know DJ L. and his crew were the best. DJ L ended up being a default coordinator for the progression of the wedding. Music selection was Great and catered to all the guests. DJ L, (Lavell) was a wonderful addition to our wedding!
I had never heard of San Diego Best DJ’s, or of DJ L. I was referred to him by a childhood friend of mine. She put me in touch with Lavell, who was amazing from our first contact.
I met Lavell at a coffee shop to go over the inital details of what we were looking for in a DJ. My husband couldn’t make it, so it was just me and my 18 month old daughter. What impressed me, is that Lavell not only took care of business, but he also offered to clear the table, grab me a to-​go container, and help getting my disaster child out of there. :-p
My husband and I were having a very intimate backyard wedding in El Cajon. At first we were just going to use an iPod and Spotify to play music for the wedding, but decided we wanted a professional DJ to help us move things along. It was the best decision ever to hire Lavell. He was great at understanding our needs and wants (no first dance, announcing dinner and toasts, playing a mix of current music, oldies, and mexican favorites). He never seemed irritated or confused by my scrambled playlist and requests.
Although Lavell was a friend of a friend, he treated us very professionally. Showed up on time, dressed perfectly, ready to party with us!
Lavell has a great personality. My only complaint is that we should have booked him for longer– and should have had him play a bigger role in getting the crowd hyped! In fact, we asked him to stay longer, which he would have, except he had a previously scheduled gig elsewhere!
I would recommend DJ L and San Diego Best DJ’s to anyone and everyone that asks me.

This review is different because DJ Artistic and San Diego Best DJs could be considered competition for me. However here in San Diego the DJ community has stuck together and suppprted each other better than most industries in this city. DJ Artistic is not just a DJ, but a professional at whatever he puts his hands to do.
I have seen his work for over 30 years now in music and deejaying. From nightlife, to corporate parties, and even weddings DJ Artisitics, talent, character and professionalism is 2^nd to None! I would hire him anyday of the week for any event and know that my clients were going to be taken care of!
When you come across his outfit or him personally for DJ or events services don’t waste anytime thinking it over! BOOK HIM ASAP!

I went with DJ Artistic and an additional associate as help/​cocktail DJ during my wedding in Oct 2015 wedding. I can’t say enough great things about SJ Artistic.
First and foremost, he was a genuinely nice person, who stepped in many ways he wasn’t required too. He came with great ideas on how to get people on the dance floor, asked my family what music they wanted to hear and even helped my grandmother down the stairs at one point. Amazing gentleman on top of a trustworthy and talented DJ!
He of course, took my music cues and brought an entire night of music to life based on them. So many of my friends wanted a mix tape of our wedding music. How great of a compliment was that?!
I would, and already have, recommended him. He will not disappoint!

Art is as good as it gets. It is no secret in San Diego that he and his crew provide the highest quality DJ services around. Everyone knows him and his guys for their top tier DJ’ing. But what about his lights?! His up lights have made 3 of my events home runs. Truly passionate about what he does, no corners are ever cut. The venue I run is over 5,000 sqft and has 19 foot ceilings, this room is not easy to make feel like it is a club or party, but it is always made possible with his lighting services.
I will use his services and his services only for any of my needs.

My fiancé and I got engaged on Christmas and decided a few days later that we –and by «we», I mean «she”-would get married at the end of January! The one thing I took the reins on was the music and hiring a DJ. I’ve been listening to Art aka DJ Artistic spin in clubs, bars and local events for more than five years, so I had no worries about the music being great. But I was blown away by his professionalism! I knew he took his business seriously when he demanded a consultation. Art who is aptly named, sincerely wants you to have the best experience possible. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Art actually came to our rescue, because he helped us focus on the day. During the consultation, he made us think of things that never crossed our minds and because of the time crunch and distance, (I live in SD and my fiancé lives in OC) we had to do everything via FaceTime! He went through a detailed timeline of the entire event making sure we got all the special songs we wanted at the correct times throughout the night! He even checks in with you up to the big day to make sure there are no major changes he needs to know about.
On the day of the event Art and his assistant-​yes!, he came with an assistant!- had to travel from San Diego to Riverside for our wedding. He set up and broke down his equipment in several different areas to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had several different special performances throughout the night and Art was able to provide us with wireless microphones, mic stands as well as a guitar hookup! Things don’t always go according to plan at weddings, but you’d never know with Art at the helm. The music scheduling changed several times and Art was able to roll with all the changes and never got flustered.
An added bonus to our reception was Art’s gorgeous uplighting and monogram! If you are trying to decide if you’d like this at your reception my suggestion is yes!!! It added so much ambiance to the room. He was great at reading our crowd and keeping the flow of the party going! Having a great master of ceremonies is just as important as the music itself and Art is a consummate professional. If you want your wedding to go seamlessly with great music and you want to your guests to have a great time, look no further than DJ Artistic. He is worth EVERY penny. You will NOT be disappointed.

I was referred to DJ Artistic through our family friend. Once he gave us the green light no references were needed. Not only is Art and amazing DJ/​masters of ceremonies, but he is truly professional and skilled at his craft. Our recent Christmas wedding was a like a real life dream. Art orchestrated our request with such ease, and offered up some amazing suggestions that added such amazing personal touches for all our family friends. He even suggested that everyone wave their red cocktail napkins for my husband and I grand entrance. It was so fun to see our guest get even more involved in the wedding. Art also took time out of his busy schedule to the view our wedding venue and rehearsal day activities. His assistant Jelani was also a joy to work with on the day of. What a great team!

AWESOME! We had Art for our wedding this October and he did a wonderful job from start to finish. From our first meeting up to the Big Day, we knew we had found someone both passionate about their work and exceptionally organized. He gave us great advice on song choices and ideas for our ceremony and reception. He mic’d up our officiant, kept cocktail hour classy and set the mood with some awesome lighting. Everyone loved our custom monogram and the crazy dance party with which we ended the night. Along with our coordinator, Art kept the night running smoothly and without a hitch. Could not recommend him or his Assistants more. They did a killer job! If you are looking for someone who goes above and beyond, you’ve found your guy.

I first saw Art DJ a wedding and had to have his services for a work celebration we did where we had about 500 people.
His style, equipment and personality is top notch you wont find a better DJ out there. He is so versatile to whatever music style or type of event you are looking to create. Cant say enough about his great works. Thanks Art I’ll be using you again next time I need a DJ!

Hands down, best DJ ever! Art was so helpful, and did a great job of playing a variety of music at our wedding which kept everyone dancing. He is very easy to work with and responsive. We did a walk through of the venue with him before our wedding. I’m so glad that we did because he asked questions that I hadn’t even thought about. Art is one of the most down to earth, easy to talk to, respectful guys you’ll ever meet. He holds a very high standard for his company and really strives to be the best.
Our wedding was at the Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, CA. Art met with us a few months before the wedding just to get a visual of the wedding venue and make sure he had everything accounted for. He asked all the right questions during the site walk and really made my wife and I feel very good knowing we chose a DJ who really did a lot more than just play music during the wedding.
He designed the up lighting and gave us tons of options to choose from.
He followed up several times before the wedding and gave us great suggestions for sections of the wedding we hadn’t chose music for.
All the guests were dancing the entire night and were commenting on how great the music was.

DJ Artistic is someone who strives for perfection. I had the honor of working with Art for two different events; he was always prompt, replied to my emails, and calls in a timely manner. He was always professional and always had a positive attitude. With events, timelines can run behind or things may change but even when I changed a few things up on him, he didn’t say a word, he was on it and worked well with my team and our clients.
When it comes to the music– I come from a family of DJ’s so I am very picky. He has an eye for reading the mood of the guests. He listens to the clients, while also keeping the mood going. He knows every song I was thinking of when we were coming up with suggestions and he doesn’t pre-​record his music.
Mic, Check one, Check two– From the proper jokes, to formal moments or even to the last calls, he knows how to keep it very professional but light hearted. Perfect when you are looking back at your wedding or event videos.

DJ Artistic is a true professional and pleasure to work with. When we first met him for our consultation he walked us through the entire process. He gave us great examples of what he can do during a wedding, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Art definitely showed he can run point in any event and adapt when there was a delay in our wedding timeline. He made sure to check in with us for any questions.
We especially appreciated Art bringing us two champagnes after the ceremony to help kick off the cocktail hour and appreciated that he asked if we wanted to eat before our first dance. He was very attentive to our needs from start to finish!
We would definitely refer him to our friends and family and if we ever need a DJ we know who to call!

Art DJed our wedding at the Saint Francis Chapel at Balboa Park (ceremony) and The Ultimate Skybox (reception) and I don’t know what to say other than everything was FLAWLESS thanks in large part to him. Art created the most perfect moods at both of our venues. He does such a great job of reading the crowd and getting people going with what they want to hear. Our wedding reception was literally better than a night out at the hottest club because of Art. He is so talented at everything — from talking to the crowd, to choosing the best music, to creating a beautiful mood through lighting, to producing perfect monograms. If there’s one thing I can tell all you brides-​to-​be out there, it’s don’t look anywhere other than Art for your wedding!

If I could give Arthur 10 stars I would. There are three people who runs your wedding that is the wedding planner, the photographer and the DJ. Arthur gave us one on one attention, walked us thorough the process for the ceremony and the reception. He respected our wishes for music selection without offering his preferences and gave us advice, options and suggestions based on the information we gave him.
The dj creates the ceremony atmosphere. Ours said «we’re married and happy and we want to celebrate!» And that is what DJ Artistic did, he had different cultures, generations, and preferences all up and dancing! At several points in the evening no one was in their seat Bc he had them up and dancing.
The highlight of my night was Arthur planned with my 16 year old nephew where he would play our wedding song, fade out, and my nephew would play the remainder of the song on his guitar. It happened so seamlessly you would’ve never known they had just met each other!
DJ Artistiatic is a fantastic team player, professional beyond expectations, and absolutely relevant. All I can say is AMAZING and BEST DJ ever. We hired DJ Artistic for our wedding and this guy is the most professional vendor we dealt with for our wedding. We had a Moroccan themed wedding, I am Mexican and my husband is French Moroccan/​American and he catered to all our guest. He played the best music to fit everyone at our wedding. Not only was he just playing music but he pretty much was also our wedding planner that day! He kept the party going and everyone loved him. I also had many unique entrance mixes I asked him to do and he made it happen. I recommend him!
He also made my dream come true of a long soul train line lol he gathered all my guest on the dance floor to «take a picture» (great picture by the way) and he made everyone split to create a huge soul train line. Everyone thought it was a great idea! It got all the shy people that usually sit down to dance :)
