San Diego Imaging

This place has got horrendous customer service! They don’t even bother to call me to schedule an appointment that they have the order for and when I call them to schedule the appointment I just get left on hold for an inordinate amount of time. I still have not been able to speak to someone to make an appointment. What a joke!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kortman for back injections for some time now. I’ve been nothing but impressed with the courtesy of the staff and knowledge of Dr. Kortman. What really impressed me was when Dr. Kortman went out of his way/​schedule to sit down with me and look at my previous MRIs impromptu before my first injection. None of that was in the schedule but he made the time to allow me to leave/​obtain my older MRI CDs and return prior to the injection without needing to reschedule. Class act facility.

Very friendly and helpful staff, 5 minute wait time, and a very quick x-​ray. Great experience!

I just walked out of a visit to San Diego Imaging. The people there were polite and efficient. I was called back for my MRI exactly on time. I was complete and out the door with MRI disc in hand in 30 minutes. I hope I don’t need their services in the future, but I will request San Diego Imaging if the need arises.

This office gets my highest recommendation. Staff is professional and helpful; they seem to be genuinely interested in helping patients. I haven’t had many x-​rays so I was scared. The Physicians and staff made me feel at ease and I could tell these were professionals! I needed to get in before 8:00am and they were open!, ad they open at 7:00am, which is great for working professionals! I was in and out and my Doctor had the results within an hour, not to mention they have MD’s on staff and are Sharp Doctors! Great resource, beautiful facility, kind staff and quick results and I made it to work by 8:00am PERFECT!

I’ll never go back here. I’ve always been able to easily make payment arrangements with Imaging Healthcare, Scripps or any place I’ve ever been but not this place. I called and tried to set something up after my first bill and they demanded 50% and I told them I could not do that and sent in a payment for less (which was 20% of balance). They were not at all friendly on the phone and they were not professional and didn’t seem very educated (bad grammar and phone etiquette). I’m already getting threatening letters in the mail. If you could see this letter — HUGE red font that this is the final notice (although it’s the first) — printed THREE TIMES (top, middle and bottom) and informing me that I have 20 days before it goes to collection. Assholes. I’ve never dealt with a place like this, ever.

This is where my OB/​GYN sends patients to have their ultrasounds done. The office is very clean and looks very new. The only draw back to the lobby is the back to back chairs. If someone is sitting in the chair behind you, you might bump heads (if you both happen to be sporting ponytails) and every time one of you shifts in your chair it jostles the chairs around you.
I was told my appointment was at 3:20 and I’ll be darned if Kendra, the ultrasound tech didn’t come out at 3:20 on the dot! I like not sitting around after my appointment time has come and gone, it shows good schedule spacing on their part :)
The ultrasound room is calm and cozy and has a nice mix of upbeat «happy» music softly playing through the speaker. The bathroom attached to the ultrasound room is very clean, decorated nicely, and stocked with nice little touches like wet wipes in case you need one to clean up ultrasound gel.
I had the unfortunate news that I have placenta previa which can be serious, but the doctor who came in was very calm and very kindly told me and said he’d contact my doctor who would call me with further instructions to reduce the chance of complications. I appreciated that he was quick and to the point, but tried to be calm and delicate in delivering the news.
Overall, it was a great experience, the staff was VERY nice, and if you ever have the option to use them, I say go for it!

I have had many MRi and CT scans by many hospitals in San Diego. The care was over the top, quality impeccable and I really felt like I got the help and personal attention that most drs don’t care about anymore.

You should ever have to pay for parking when going for medical reasons, especially since they charged $ 400 to see me for less than 5 mins. They told me to get there 20 mins before my appt. I got there 30 mins before and they were still late. They saw at least 4 ppl who got there after me before they saw me. The technician was pleasant. The only reason they’re getting 3 stars is bc I got a call from my dr. 30 mins later. If I didn’t have to wait so long and if I didn’t have to pay for parking, they would get 4 stars.

The staff knew exactly what to do. They were unable to submit it immediately d/​t having to wait on another report being lodged first. I called today as the other report was submitted, wanting to be sure they knew they could submit the xray now. They had already done it!!! Love this place.

I have been going to San Diego Imaging Kearny Mesa since 2007. They have amazing CT, x-​ray and ultrasound departments. The office is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Very professional and considerate. The reports get to your doctor within one hour! My physician has called this facility «the Nordstrom’s of imaging centers.» That is a fact. No wait, professional service and kind employees! Concierge service to help patients navigate through the system and get you to your next appointment or home. It can’t be beat.
