My wife and I visited San Diego two weeks ago and left with diamond earrings to compliment her pendant. We were incredibly surprised at the selection, price and service offered by Sebastian. We found him through Unilocal comments and could not be more satisfied.

Can’t say enough good things about this experience! Sebastian was so informative and kind through the whole experience. His customer service is more than you ask for and makes you feel like you are his only client. As for the Ring itself. IT.IS.PERFECT. Walked me through It to be sure I got exactly what I wanted and it is just that. My Fiancé hasn’t stopped looking and taking pictures of it. I would recommend him to everyone I know and go back to him in a heartbeat! The price, the design and the service are more stars than Unilocal allows!

I was recently gifted a beautiful Rolex from my father and wanted to have it professionally appraised for the purposes of insuring it. Looking around Unilocal I immediately found Sebastian from his perfect rating and I can certainly see why people rave about him.
Our appointment was made just 30 minutes from my initial phone call and I was able to have the watch inspected and documented in just 15 – 20 minutes. I gotta be honest, making a large purchase on a engagement ring is something that I didn’t take lightly and spent months researching options and meeting with various jewelers. None of them made me feel comfortable like Sebastian did. The experience was unforgettable. From the very beginning the process was very personal (1:1) without any distractions.
A large part in what made this experience special was the opportunity to be able to select a loose diamond and then pair it up with a setting of our choosing. In our case, we couldn’t find the perfect setting so Sebastian allowed us to make a custom ring. We verbally gave him our design and he came up with a rendering. After a few iterations we finalized on the rendering and then a wax mold was made. We were able to see the loose diamond in the mold and gave our approval to proceed with making the setting. A few days later the engagement ring was ready and it was perfect!
Not only was the experience a five star, the price was unbelievable. Normally I negotiate when making purchases, but the price Sebastian gave us was so great I didn’t have too. It was clear he wasn’t looking to make a quick buck, but instead build a relationship/​client for the long term. Not only will I recommend Sebastian to everyone I know, I am a customer for life.

Found sebastian on Unilocal because of the reviews. There is a reason he has 5 stars! Sebastian is AMAZING! My girlfriend took her old wedding ring in to get appraised. Sebastian was beyond accomidating and helpful. Made us feel very welcome. He told us the honest truth after evaluating the ring and took his time explaining to us all about the 4cs and the actually worth of the ring and band! He literally went the extra 10 miles to help us understand the best way to sell the ring. He even was kind enough to polish and clean the rings up for us even when he didn’t have to do it. Seriously would recommend him to anyone! He has beautiful quality rings and I will be back to purchase.

I was looking for a jewelry store for a gift on short notice and lucked out finding this place.
Using Unilocal on my phone as I was driving I thought this was in UTC.
It’s actually in an office building on the fifth floor with a receptionist desk. I almost left since I was expecting a regular store. I’m glad that I didn’t didn’t leave when they asked me to wait.
The office is small with a view and has three or four display cases. Sebastian has plenty of other jewelry on hand as well. From what was there he had something that was just right for me. All of it is unique and high-​quality.
He has very good deals because what you’re buying doesn’t pay rent for a showroom in a mall. Sebastian is a professional jeweler, not the salesman type at all, which is great!
Next time when needed I will come here for sure. I’m looking forward to it.

I can’t say enough about how good of an experience this was. My family is very brand conscious, so I went with my mother to Charles Kroll to look at engagement rings and while I was impressed the price was very high.

Sebastian is the real deal… Transparent, fair, knowledgeable.
After growing up surrounded by a lot of great jewelery store owners and brokers I started there first when looking for an engagement ring! Talked to some of the big names in town and ended up talking to over 20 owners and brokers in the jewelry business. Sebastian was different.
The first time I met with him, he got me up to speed on what I needed to know and how he could add value. He didn’t even try to sell me a diamond the first time we met. He developed and understanding and then went out on his search.
Some people may criticize that he is a smaller broker and doesn’t have a lot of standing inventory compared to big jewelry stores, but that is exactly why he is fantastic. He is not trying to push low quality inventory or someones mistake purchases on you.
He’s young, hungry and transparent compared to his older competitors who are just trying to sell you what ever junk they have in the store.
He would not spend any time showing me anything that wasn’t collector quality. He talked me out of buying several diamonds by using facts and proof that now I am so thankful for.

After reading such positive reviews on Unilocal,I went to see Sebastian at San Diego Jewelry Brokers in La Jolla to have a 3-​stone platinum anniversary ring appraised. The office showroom on the 5^th floor is an impressive space and I especially appreciated the one-​on-​one customer service and undivided attention that Sebastian provides compared to the other jewelry establishments that I had encountered beforehand, in downtown San Diego.
He was the consummate professional… extremely personable, knowledgeable and very thorough in his evaluation as he talked me through it step by step and what all my options were. We got to an impasse where there was a slight difference in a price agreement, but Sebastian made it a fun gambling game of heads or tails to decide the matter & I just couldn’t stop laughing! I did sell my diamond ring for a fair price and he paid me on the spot in cash! 10 year anniversary experience
My wife and I decided to get her a new wedding set for our 10 year anniversary. What started out to be a bit of a difficult process turned out to be an incredible experience… thanks to Sebastian and San Diego Jewelry Brokers!
We had some ideas as to what we wanted, and decided to focus in on getting the right diamond selected first. The search for this turned out to be challenging, working with a jeweler we had past experience with we were not feeling comfortable and did not like the options we were being presented. The quality of the stones and prices just did not seem right. We also started to review different ring styles and were provided websites and catalogs to review. Considering what we were expecting to spend this just was not going in the right direction. For comparison purposes, we did some searching for jewelers and loose diamond sellers in San Diego. From this we came across San Diego Jewelry Brokers. I reviewed the website and read through all the reviews. Everything sounded very good, reviews were all very positive… albeit only a few.
I reached out to Sebastian, and from the first discussion it was a very good experience. His customer service is incredible, as is his attention to details. After a series of back and forth text messages, with incredible amount of detail in his responses, addressing many of my questions and concerns we decided to have him obtain a few diamonds for us to view. He made a lot of very good recommendations along the way, always working to stay within our budget, but maximizing where possible. He presented us several options for the diamond, made the process enjoyable and we ended up with the perfect stone for us based on the 4 C’s and our price point.
At the same time he also took the ring design process and turned it into a great experience. My wife and I provided a few different pics, sketched out what we were thinking, received some good input and suggestions from Sebastian, and received a very competitive price for a completely custom ring set.
After a few days my wife was able to view the wax model of ring, and upon her approval the full set was available for us to pick up within 7 – 10 days.
There were a few points along the way where we felt a bit unsure based on Sebastian working from a small office, new business, etc. But we asked lots of questions along the way, Sebastian worked with us at every step to make sure we were comfortable and gain our trust. He went above and beyond our expectations with each step, including selection of supporting diamonds size and quality and making sure the wedding band had 10 diamonds for our 10 yr anniversary.
Overall it was a great experience, and we are very happy to provide this recommendation for Sebastian.
Oh BTW, I also got a new Rolex Submariner from Sebastian for our 10 year anniversary which was also a very easy process and the price was very competitive.

From the moment I called Sebastian, it was a first class experience. When I initially spoke to Sebastian on the phone I knew he was the guy I wanted to see. When I finally visited him at his jewelry store the next day, he spent over an hour with me describing what all the different styles engagement rings available. Sebastian took the time to educate me on diamond quality and showed me a few diamonds from the great selection of loose diamonds they carry. I never once felt pressured to make a purchase.
