Over the years, we’ve established client base by managing the repairs, additions and renovations of numerous properties and estates in San Diego. Since jumping into the construction industry over 20 years ago, the owner Brian Phillips has specialized in kitchen and bathroom remodels, detailed woodworking, drywall, roof repair, window and door installation and outdoor projects including custom gates, trellises and fences — plus more.

SDMCS is a full service construction company committed to fair pricing, quality workmanship and timely completion.

History

Established in 2010.

(Owner) Brian Phillips has over 20 years of experience in all phases of construction. He started out as a framer and excavator in Cleveland, Ohio working alongside multi-​generational tradesmen with Midwestern work ethics. He poured concrete, dug basements, constructed walls and installed windows and he managed teams on construction sites.

In 2006, Brian moved to San Diego where he worked as a superintendent for a maintenance and remodeling construction company. He gained a wealth of knowledge in commercial construction management and estimating by scheduling subcontractors, meeting with business owners, pulling permits and making sure projects were completed on time and within budget.

Brian decided to take his skills and knowledge of the industry and became a licensed general contractor in California and started San Diego Maintenance and Construction Services in 2010.
