Super friendly and appeared to be very knowledgeable. He didn’t try and sell me anything out of my price range like many sales people do. The delivery was on time and called 30 minutes before arriving. I am very happy with my new bed. Thanks again!

The big guy who sold me the mattress was great, at least with positive attitude. Though the mattress was later found to be super low quality, that’s my own choice and have no way to complain. I got two mattresses here over 2 years ago, one sealy, one cheap local brand for guest room. The Sealy started to sag in about half a year, then we found spring sticking out. Same problem with the other one. Both me and the wife are slim type and there is no where to blame except these are really low quality products, compared to the cheaters ones in IKEA. Well, they sell and I buy. Again, no one to blame. Except, maybe try to get something a bit better for the same amount of money you make next time?
Anyway, the things made me mad is when I tried to claim the warranty. The manager at the warehouse really bothered me. I talked to a lady at first and everything sounds fine. Then a few days later, I called before I am ready to get the new one. The guy, which I believe is the manager basically just yield at me blaming me not to do this earlier. Excuse me, but we all have things to do in our life. Mattress may be your thing because you run the business, but I have different things to worry about. I was so mad at this guy that I did not do the warrant process. Who knows what else we will go through with this crazy guy. We ended up selling it at very low price just to avoid troubling dealing with him.
Horrible experience.
Oh, and Unilocal.Please stop deleting my comments about this vendor. I have the purchase receipts from two years ago to prove that I did purchase here.

Since it has been about 2.5 years since we got our mattress I thought it is a good time to give an update…
We still LOVE our mattress! It is as firm (for a pillow top) as the day we got it. Also, no squeeks, creeks or peeps yet, and that is after lots of use and abuse? ;-) I mean the darn thing is like day one so far. Could not be more happy with this bed!
The only down side is having to get out of it in the mornings. So cozy and comfy. It truly is an excellent high quality mattress we got here. And, I am still impressed with the level of service, price and respect we had.
When the time comes to replace it we will just head back here without a second thought. Easy!

This is a smaller store, there are not frills here. The prices were decent. I was able to walk in and was not hassled by the sales person. I explained what I was looking for a single bed for my elderly mom. That was reasonably priced. We discussed several options.
Within minutes, I was able to walk out of the store and be directed to their warehouse in Mira Mesa to pick up the bed.
I was happy that the sales person did not try to talk me into anything and give me a huge sales pitch about buying a different style of mattress.
This store is located in a convenient place right on the corner of Balboa AVe. And across the street from the Marukai stores. This is not a big box store. There was only one sales person when I walked in. He politely finished up with the customer that he was helping and helped me immediately.
There were a few night stands for sale, but mostly it was all about mattresses and beds.

Came in here after going to sleep train and looking up other offers online. I found that this place had the best deal for what i was looking for. Just a regular twin bed and box spring for a teenager, nothing fancy. I walked in and there was a guy sleeping on one of the beds, which i thought was hilarious. The gentleman at the desk greeted me and told me the man was really tired and he told him that he could try the bed out. Ha Ha!
Anyways, The man asked me what i was looking for and I told him, he then said the twins on sale were outside on the grass and were 99 bucks, that was right up my alley. The box spring was 40 bucks and they frame was also 40 bucks, so in total is was about $ 200 with tax for all three. The mattress and box spring were brand new wrapped in plastic and so was the frame. It was able to fit perfectly in my SUV and off i went. No haggle, no gimmicks. Very helpful and sweet guy. Thanks mattress man.

Came in to look at mattresses randomly for my friend. We were shown different options too look at and gave us a deal. If you want great customer service ask for Iyad.

Our experience was great! Very accommodating with us, not pushy usually this is the experience we got at the last mattress we checked out. We took our time & tried a variety of mattresses, after we chose the mattress of our dreams it was dropped off same day :) we’ll be purchasing in the future when our son grows out of his toddler bed

Huge let down! We were coaxed to originally write a positive review for Lyad, he offered us pillows with our new purchase if we did. After following up with him every week for over 2 months, here we are still pillow-​less. I’m certain that most of his positive reviews were from bribes, I’m hopeful that he at least followed through with some of them.

My boyfriend and I just bought a much-​needed queen bed with box spring from Ricky. He was really helpful and funny. We had specific needs in which we were only looking for a queen, pillowtop mattress with box spring and at least a 10 year warranty for less than $ 1000. We tried Sleeptrain, Mattress Discounters, and Ashley Furniture which were too expensive, as well as Mattress Liquidators which only had a 1 year warranty. Luckily we found San Diego Mattress Man which was in our budget and offers free delivery and a free latex pillow when you check in on Unilocal.
The delivery was on time and the guys handled our mattress well; I gave them a good tip for that. They even called to let us know 15 minutes before they arrived that they were coming.
We love our bed and will recommend our friends to this place!

I spent like 3 weeks researching on internet to find my perfect couch and I found at my budget furniture. You can not find any price amd quality better than that store. Now I will buy my dinning chairs too.

Iyad is a great salesman and very friendly. He offers no pressure buying, and is extremely knowledgeable. This is the second mattress we’ve purchased from him. Don’t think we’ll go anyplace else.

He has been the best representative that has helped me yet… have nothing but good things to say about him. he has great customer service, great personality, and knows exactly what hes talking about. went in for a matress and left more than satisfied! Iyad is the best! He was so helpful when I was looking for a new mattress. He explained the difference between the mattress from the brand I was looking at. He’s friendly and such a nice guy, I am happy I went in when he was working. He also gave me the best deal! Iyad is definitely the best, I would recommend anyone to go to him!

Just bought a mattress from Iyad who was a fantastic wealth of information with a great sense of humor! If the mattress ends up being as enjoyable as the purchase experience was there’s no room for any kind if complaints!

These guys are money! I needed an immediately mattress replacement after our neighborhood cat got in and pee’d on my bed (little jerk). I did a little price comparison online and saw a nice mattress they had for $ 799 (Simmons Beautyrest) that I saw at Sears for $ 1199. I called them up (at like 4:45pm after a long day at work) and they told me they could deliver it that night. I swung by the showroom and was out of there in 15 minutes (and was delighted to see that they had a sale which brought it down to $ 599), and the delivery truck arrived 20 minutes after I got home. –Doesn’t get any easier than this.

The other day I checked out this place because I was in the area. Iyad helped me out and it was awesome. He answered all my questions and was sooooooo helpful! I would definitely come here again and recommended it to my friends!
