San Ysidro, CA
On a recent walk in visit, I happened to drop in to the San Ysidro Library and was met by an environment of just a «chit chat» center. This location is way too small to «help» the needs of the community it services. I was browsing books and couldn’t believe there is not a «quiet» area for people to sit and enjoy a magazine or book without having to listen to the social lives of these disrespectful and rude people.

This library does have books, and seats, and computers, but let’s face it, it’s reallllly old and the books are also fairly outdated.
Nonetheless, it’s still kickin and a great option and resource for kiddies 3 – 99 to visit and receive education for free at their leisure.
Thanks to their location (San Ysidro) they set themselves apart when it comes to having much more bilingual resources than other libraries out there. If you’re learning English or Spanish you could benefit from this biblioteca. I actually fancy the old Spanish architecture and touch too. Makes me feel like I’m somewhere else reading.
