Jeff is absolutely fantastic. We were in the process of having some painting done to our 1921 Craftsman home. Having two small children in the house, I was paranoid about lead exposure. I wanted to make certain that the painters were doing the job correctly. I called Jeff and told him my situation; he came out immediately and looked around the house, testing both the interior and exterior for lead levels. Seeing immediately some serious concerns, Jeff helped me communicate with the company the issues he was seeing with the procedures they were using to minimize lead exposure. Thanks to his expertise and guidance on how to handle the situation we were able to work with company to quickly eliminate the concerns and move forward to complete the job safely. Thanks Jeff for helping me keep my children safe and save my sanity!

Recognizing that I am horribly sentimental, I have brought a child’s chair from my childhood home in Ohio. The little wooden-​slat chair was made by my grandfather for, we believe, my cousin in about 1949.
Before giving the chair to my grandson, I was compelled to have the paint tested for lead. Reviewing the options online for an analysis company, I chose San Diego Testing. I’m so glad I did!
Jeff made it easy for me to connect with him and in a quick minute, his monitor read positive for lead in the paint. Next, Jeff advised me how best to prepare the chair’s wood for priming, sealing, and repainting – including proper disposal of the few chips of the old paint that need to be removed.
I recommend San Diego Testing for big jobs and little ones!
