History

Established in 2007.

For serious students that want to learn every aspect of DJing from the history to advanced skills, The San Diego Turntable Institution is for everyone. If you’re a beginner that hasn’t touched a turntable before or a professional that wants to improve their skills, there is always a course you can take. S.D.T.I. offers classes taught by both female and male teachers and is San Diego’s longest running DJ school. The San Diego Turntable Institution has been recognized in the San Diego City Beat and The San Diego Union Tribune. The institute has also brought instructional clinics to The Museum of Contemporary Arts La Jolla, Knotts Berry Farms, as well as various junior high schools and establishments around the greater San Diego Area. We also offer courses in Serato, MPC, and Ableton.
