History

Established in 2011.

Sidestage Improv was created in Spring 2011 by three veteran improvisers to create San Diego’s first longform improv venue. Our mission is to cultivate San Diego’s rapidly growing improv community by providing high-​quality performance opportunities, training programs, and outreach services for teams and individuals.
