All of our tours are guided by professional San Diego tour guides, and always include a taste of local cuisine and beverages.

History

Established in 2009.

So Diego Tours started in 2009 with the idea to provide fun, innovative, and creative lifestyle tours in San Diego. So Diego founder, Bianca Jaime, had been leading tours for several years before coming up with the idea of the Restaurant Hop. In the Downtown San Diego area alone, there are more than 200 restaurants, making it difficult for tourists and locals to experience some of the city’s hidden treasures. With a huge passion for food, entertainment, and the Gaslamp Quarter, she decided to create a tour company that introduced people to what she knows best… fun, good food and drinks, lounges, restaurants, and Gaslamp History.

Since it’s first tour, So Diego Tours has developed tours such as the Thursday Restaurant Hop, The Brothels, Bites and Booze Tour, Bike Tours, and Nightlife Tours.

Business Owner

As a San Diego native and a social butterfly, Bianca found her passion in the city of San Diego and the amazing sights and activities that are often overseen by visitors and locals, alike. She graduated from the University of San Diego in 2007 and received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. After working 2 years in the tourism industry, she to start So Diego Tours to make it easy for people to experience more for their time and money. She came up with the concept of the Restaurant Hop in Gaslamp, and have since expanded to offer other tours such as The Brothels, Bites, and Booze Tour, San Diego Bike Tours, and custom Sightseeing Tours for groups small and large.
