History

Established in 2014.

Surfreps began with a love of photography. Ben began sharing these photos of surf and skyscapes with friend and the local community. Shortly after he began, a demand developed for these photos. There were many people asking, «how does this wave look today?» Or «how does the kelp look?» With growing demand, it became obvious that many people would benefit from this information.

With the idea in place, we began to grow the network of sharing information and connecting with those in the surf industry. In March of 2014, Grind TV featured Surfreps in an online article «Top ten surf Instagrams,» bringing the company lots of attention. Surfreps began to collaborate with other local companies to provide them with aerial media, which continues to bring attention to the company.
