On Sunday 1^st mass starts at 8:45am, I came early because I thought it was at 8. And a kind lady getting things ready on the basement/cafeteria opened the door. And I started chatting with a parishioner who also comes early. It’s nice to be greeted with warms smiles. I’m only visiting but they expressed their welcome ant told met they appreciated me coming here. :) sweet! I should come had attend mass here more often.

I find this review very odd to write but I wanted to give credit to the leaders and members of this parish. I’ve only been to this church once but the mass was beautifully held. The sermon was traditional yet it was delivered in a way that would communicate to the audience despite their age. I’m writing this review months after I visited so I don’t recall the exact topic of the sermon but I remember it being relevant to the times.
The church is very clean and equipped with bathrooms. They also have a crying room for the families with younger children. Lastly, I remember that it only had one collection unlike other churches that sometimes have 2 or 3.

St. Vincent De Paul is a wonderful parish in the neighborhood. I have attended mass for over 2 years and continue because I am happy and I feel at «home».
Mass is on Sunday at 8:45AM or 10:30AM. I prefer the 8:45AM service. Parking is fine. The church does not have a parking lot, but you’ll have plenty of room on the street.
St. Vincent’s is just a block away from main West Washington Street in Mission Hills but it feels like a hidden gem. Inside, you’ll find peace and not the sound of cars. It’s in a quiet part of Mission Hills, although, I believe most Mission Hills pockets are quiet (and peaceful).
