I had never spray tanned before and needing to do so to get rid of tan lines for my wedding made me very nervous to try it. I looked here on Unilocal and quickly zoned in on Stephanie because she had such great reviews. I called her and she was extremely helpful. Talked to me on the phone for quite a while explaining how it works and answering my many questions. I decided to go for it. Overall I was happy with it. She did a great job. There were some areas that were tricky (my hands, and a spot on my chest that randomly started to rub off day before wedding. Not sure why) that I had to use cover up on, but other than that every thing else looked great and I was happy with my wedding tan. Having nothing to compare it to, I am not sure how else spray tanning would turn out, but even with the tricky spots I would still highly recommend her and say I am glad I went to her for my wedding tan.

I just got married at the end of August and spent months trying out different locations for Spray tan’s to ensure that I would not look like an Oompa-​Loompa on my big day.
The downside to that was looking like an oompa loompa for months because so many people out there don’t know what they’re doing.
The upside, is that 10 days before my wedding I found Stephanie and was so impressed by the product she uses and the fantastic job she did! I didn’t leave sticky or smelly, and I had the most natural looking glow. She also is incredibly professional and sprays you down gently– some of the places I went to I felt like a farm animal being hosed off in a tent.
To top it off, she was so flexible with her scheduling and accomodated me and 3 of my bridesmaids 2 days before my wedding AFTER her workday because I had such a pain in the ass schedule that week. I’d give stephanie more stars if I could and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great looking natural tan!

I went to Stephanie for a spray tan for my wedding after reading her reviews on Unilocal and I was not disappointed! I had no idea what to expect as I’d never had a spray or airbrush tan before, but she walked me through everything and was kind and patient with me and gave me a beautiful glow that was just perfect for my wedding day! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a natural tan and a serene, calming environment while getting it! I look forward to going back to her again to try one of her signature facials or massages.

I’ve been to see Stephanie a few times now. All I can say is it’s always a treat! The facial leaves me looking and feeling like a new woman! The Microdermabrasion was fantastic; I believe it took years off of me… Stephanie has a charming, clean, quiet little setting in Hillcrest. I made a day of shopping, lunch and spa, it was great! I’ve had Stephanie spray tan me and it was a fantastic job! I was going out of town for a party and wanted a little «glow» … I loved my tan, this could be truly a habit! So, it was Thursday, and I was going to be a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s weddings on Saturday. Being me, I am always last minute… and I hadn’t really thought about how I needed to make an appointment somewhere to get a spray tan done by, well, by that same day!
I was at work, trying to figure out exactly how I was going to book an appointment, get a spray tan during my lunch hour, and still get back to work on time. Hmmm…
Well, I Unilocaled it and came across this place: Stephanie Bixler Davison Skin Care. I purposely went to the last listing, thinking that I may have better luck getting into a place last minute that is not as well known. Good thinking, Shannon!
I called. Stephanie answered. We set up an appointment for 2 hours later. I went in pale. I came out tan. PERFECT!
Bottom Line:
–Stephanie was very flexible with coming into her spa/​salon early just to fit me in (awesome!).
–Location is great. I found street parking with no problem at all. It’s a cute little one room place. Stephanie is the owner and only person who works there. It is very serene.
–Price was great! I believe I paid $ 40 for the spray tan. This spray tan is not the kind where the machine sprays you and you have to quickly turn around to get your other side sprayed. Stephanie personally sprays you. This allows you to dictate if you want the shade darker, less chance of a botched job, and a more natural look.
–The tan lasted 7 days and then began to fade. This was just as advertised by Stephanie.
–I looked like a golden goddess! I had plenty of compliments from people in attendance of the wedding… and then a great deal of compliments from people who viewed pictures. It honestly was radiant looking :) Thanks, Stephanie!
**I definitely recommend going to Stephanie Bixler Davison for your spray tan needs. I plan to go back to her to check out her other services as well: massage, waxing, facials, etc.

I’ve gone to a few places that «specialize» and «stand by» their brazilian waxes (pretty kitty)…now Stephanie is someone I have been going to on and off for over 5 yrs! She definitely leaves that area hair free! She even gets the ingrown hairs… I’ve gone to the «boutiques» and they do NOT give you the best attention to this area… My husband LOVES it when I go to Stephanie!
She also offers facials and massages!

Stephanie has really helped clear up my skin. She is a great esethetician and you will not be dissapointed by her services.
