Zero ‘s!!! Horrible service!!! Customers should come first. Attitudes should stay at home. My mistake was coming here in the first place. As soon as I walked in, you can pick up on the vibe of «attitude.» I came to this location to meet my sister n law for lunch. She was already standing in line and I jumped in with her. The heavy set lady(not sure if she was management) yells at me in front of all the customer’s, «Get back to the end of the line.» I wad not only shocked but embarrassed. I didn’t think it was a big deal since my sister n law was already in line. This gentleman(tall Africa American) apologized for her. I said, «It’s ok. You don’t need to apologize. I can wait.» So I step out of line and head towards the restroom that clearly says, «CUSTOMERSONLY!!» I ask the younger lady full of tattoos, who was ringing up customers if she can open or hand me a key for the restroom. She said, «No.» I said, «excuse me?» She said, «we lost the key.» My sister-in-law immediately said, «I just saw a guy come out of there.» She(girl with tattoos) said, «Well it’s only for employees.» I was very dissatisfied with this Subway. Never again will I return. It ruined my lunch date with my sister-in-law. My mistake was I left without taking pictures or getting the names of these rude employees.

The worst, worst, worst service ever! The line was moving so slow, the workers were all disorganized, and the girl with the plugs in her ears was blatantly rude. To top it all off, they mixed up my sandwich and gave me the wrong one. Never ever coming back again.

If no zeros were available, that’s what I would give this location. Me and a co worker stopped by to get a late night meal after getting off work. We were just getting off work… Not drunk nor being loud and disrespectful. We just wanted a sandwich. My co worker orders a meatball sandwich and the«sandwich artist» says ok and goes on to what it looks like to make the sandwich. He comes back and tells us that we cant order a meatball sandwich after 10:00pm. We both looked at each other like that was complete crap. We’ve both been going to subway for years and have never heard of this«10:00pm rule.» But we just let it go. So my coworker ended up making a different selection. I then go to order my sandwich and I asked for a soup that was posted. The same sandwich artist goes to get the soup, but stopped by some women that was working the register. Again he says no soup after 10:00pm. I was now officially annoyed. I know they were just making this up out of laziness. I am a paying customer, and did not appreciate this. The women(chunky, glasses, curly hair) had an attitude. And to top it off the soda was flat and had barely any taste. AND when we got home to eat, our toasted chicken sandwiches were frozen. As for us, we will not be going back to this location.

Had a very troubling experience at this Subway today. Ordering started off OK. The customer in front of me ordered a chopped salad which takes more time to prepare. No problem with that. I waited patiently. But then, the customer BEHIND me who ordered two toasted subs was served first while my sandwich sat idly in line. No one paid attention to me standing there without service for a long time. I was never acknowledged, so I spoke up and asked, «Why did you skip my sandwich?» One male worker, the one making the salad, was professional enough to acknowledge my concern and say«I’m sorry about that». The manager(Carol) was standing there the whole time, in fact she was the one serving at the beginning of the line. She abruptly came over and loudly barked, «Lettuce, tomatoes??» at me. I replied, that no one has answered my question, «Why was I skipped over in line and made to wait?» AGAIN, the manager(Carol) barked out, «Lettuce, tomatoes??» She clearly understood and could speak English fluently(as can I), so this was not the issue. I repeated that she had not addressed my concern. Then, she dropped the lettuce she was holding and my sandwich and turned and WALKEDAWAY without excusing herself, etc. I asked her what she was doing. She then claimed, «I can’t let the sandwiches burn.» I was extremely upset at this point, felt disrespected and not valued as a customer. I stated that this was EXTREMELYPOORCUSTOMERSERVICE. I told the other employee that I no longer wanted the sandwich. How Carol became a manager is beyond me. I think that if management cares at all about their business and customers, then I would take a hard look at this employee. Your other employee in a non-manager role had the decency to apologize for the inconvenience, but your manager is clueless. I only have a short time to take lunch. I expected to have quick, efficient service so that I could eat, but this did not happen. I do not plan to return to this Subway, especially since Chipotle is opening across the plaza very soon!

If no stars were available then that is what this location deserves. We went in on our lunch break and I have never in all my years encountered so many rude ungrateful employees. They were all rude and showed no desire to be at work, this is not the kind of attitude that one should have hole on the clock. Definitely do not recommend this location!

I meant to write this a couple weeks ago, usually I write about my bad experiences at places because I want people to be aware of how terrible a place is before they spend their time and money there. Let me tell you this place is bad, almost every time I walk in, I walk out disappointed. I’ve only returned because it’s so close to where I live but their customer experience is COMPLETELY terrible. The workers clearly show they rather not be there and are EXTREMELY slow on making my sandwiches. My last time going was the worst and the reason I’ll never return, A MANAGER was making my three sandwiches for my family and I, he took way too long and didn’t I had to keep repeating what I wanted. He gave me attitude and gave the cashier the wrong set of sandwiches for me. The cashier was great and friendly, he actually made my visit a tiny bit better. When I arrived home, craving my sandwich I came to realize that the stupid manager packed the WRONG sandwich in my order, I was pissed off. I did not care, I grabbed that sandwich and returned ready to yell my lungs out at that manager. He wouldn’t even acknowledge me when I returned and even took off his name tag so I could not see it. Well, Thankfully the cashier that was nice helped me, remade my correct sandwich and apologized he also told me that rude, distracted worker’s name was Robert, he should be fired and thanks to him they will probably lose lots of business. Sandwiches are serious business for hungry people after work. I have a right to complain, I work customer service and I would NEVER treat anyone at my store this way.

One night outta all bread except 2. Then tonight out of tomato and cucumbers. Came around 11pm and She said it because we came late. Your 24 hrs what is late? Gotta work on the customer service and cleanliness needs a lot of work.

If I wasn’t observing the employees work, I WOULDHAVEMAYBEEATEN A LIVECOCKROACH. I was ordering two foot long sandwiches. As my italian BMT was getting pepperoni put on it, I saw what I thought was a seed fall off the meat and onto my sandwich. It fell unnoticed to the person making my sandwich. I kept my eye on the«seed» for a while. as the employee moved her hand I saw that it was a small cockroach and it crawled off the top of the bread and hid underneath it. I told the employee to stop making my sandwich. I said nevermind and told her that I saw a bug crawl off the food. As she checked she was surprised when she saw the bug, and threw it and the entire sandwich into the trash. At that moment I left the line and walked out of the store. I have emailed the subway corporation directly about this incident and hope they read my email as it is far more detailed than the review I leave here on Unilocal.Heads up if you eat at this Subway restaurant. Go to another one.

I had to order a few platters for a meeting at my work. First of all, this location is 24 hours although I would definitely not come here late at night but I love the idea. 5 Stars for the service I experienced. They had all the platters ready in time and even provided a separate platter for veggies. I’ve ordered from other Subways before and this is the first location that did that. They also had bags of condiments ready and provided napkins(which the other locations failed to do as well). All the girls were super helpful and just made sure my order was correct. I was in and out in no time! Happy camper. I will most likely order from this location from now on.

Not a fan of this place. It’s sad because it’s the closest Subway to me. Firstly, I’ll talk about the employees. They’re always these college kids with attitude and bored expressions. You can’t seem to crack a smile out of any of them. Then once you come across a nice one they’re gone. They always hire new people that have no experience, and you end up with a poorly made sub. Plus, they cop an attitude whenever you ask them to please change your gloves and knives. They act like you’re asking for an arm and leg. I hate it. And there’s always the same girl there whenever I go. She sort of looks like an ant, and she is really condescending and rude. The cookies are always stale and old. The place is always packed and it’s kind of dirty. Go elsewhere for a foot-long, this place sucks big time!

I was honestly suprised to see how busy this place was at 12am, but cool, glad too see going 24hrs was a smart choice. As others have said, we did not receive a «welcome to subway» upon entering, but I really couldn’t care less about that. I worked at Subway years ago, so maybe I’m a little biased. This was an extremely clean, well stocked location. The employees were not over friendly, but not rude or asshole-ish. It was all in all a decent stop and my sandwich was dee-lish!

One reason I dislike going to Subway is because it’s hard to here the sandwich artists talking over the thick glass. I used to come to this location a lot. It’s been over 3 years since. New employees — young adults, that is. I decided to hit up Subway for their $ 4.00 deal of the veggie delite. As the sandwich artist began making my sandwich, all there was were cheese and bread — I was confused. So after my bread and cheese were toasted, the sandwich artist was asking what I wanted, I mentioned about my confusion and this employee slaps two big veggie patties. I checked out to mistaken being charged when I actually was charged ‘correctly’. So apparently my sandwich artist mistaken me for ordering the veggie max and I had a two dollar extra charged from what I meant to order. New employees+loud kitchen+ thick glass= no good combination for customer service! Oh and Julie, it’s all about the customer’s satisfaction, not your attitude. train harder! Or I’ll complain to the manager next time.

Did you know its opened 24 hours now? I’m kind of scared for the staffs that have to work this graveyard shift, come on! Its East San Diego we’re talking about here! Well, even though theres a Police Station diagonally across the street they should be concerned about getting robbed, hell the Dennys in the same plaza got robbed a few months ago. Anyways, everytime I come in to this Subway its not busy at all and there’s at least two staff behind the counter waiting on customers! I normally come in and joke around with the staff, I’m pretty sure they had a rough day dealing with people that want their sandwiches a certain way(ha). Great laughs in there — I do have to say, they should greet the customers as they walk in like«HIWELCOMETOSUBWAY or HELLO» and just be a little bit more HAPPY and POLITE! A big smile wouldn’t hurt either! Theres a lot of pretty faces in there. I wonder if I can just record them and put them on Youtube? or am I violating some kind of right? just to show you how they do not greet people(getting off subject, kind of remind me of the ft long video I saw where the guy went into diff. subways and yelled at staff for not giving him a ft long ROFL lol). Although, sometimes service here isn’t like services at other Subways I’ve been to, the location is very convenient for me and theres a girl name Cindy thats employed there that knows exactly what kind of bread, sandwich, and how long I want it and I LOVETHAT! I don’t even have to say a word.

Standard subway, you know, the kind where you watch them make your sandwich and hope they make it fast cause you don’t want the subway smell to stick on you. I appreciate that they always greet you when you walk in, but I sure that’s the standard at every location. It’s clean and a place to get your sandwich needs. Can’t ask for too much from a subway.

This is a great franchise. The staff is good and friendly. The location can be very busy around 12:30 p. m or so and the wait time might be 10 – 15 min minimum.

I like Subway, I really do. This one fails in the customer service department. No hello, no polite service. When it was my turn I received a, «whatchuwant?» I ordered, no offer of toasting or avocado. When I was done, the cashier told me I could go online and leave a good review to get a cookie. Yeah, sure. That’s what I’ll do.

The service here is horrible. Most of the time they get our orders wrong. Today I visited this location and I should had driven a few minutes to the Euclid location cause the service was not good at all. First off, there’s 5 employees there yet they take FOREVER. And it was only 2 – 3 people in there. I ordered my bread and cheese, while my roasted chicken(supposedly was getting warmed up) my sandwich sat on the counter next to the worker while he waited for the veggie girl to be done with the sandwich she was fixing up. When he could had been putting my veggies on my sandwich himself rather than chatter boxing with people and standing there.(SN. he was polite though.) Anyhow, once the veggie girl was available she asked what i wanted on my sub. I told her everything minus tomatoes. She’s fixing up my sub when I see her adding all these tomatoes and I tell her«I said no tomatoes». She didn’t hear me. So I repeat myself 2 more times. Finally she hears me and says«oh sorry I was zoning out». She had been looking out the window to the parking lot the whole time she was preparing my sub. She didn’t even remove the tomato juice and seeds that had dropped on my spinach now. What if I was allergic? Who cares right, cause she was spacing out. The cashier was pretty rude as well. takes the money. give you the change. walks away. Got home. Took a bite, cold chicken. Yummmm.(Yes, I’m being sarcastic) Usually when you walk into a Subway they greet you with«Hi welcome to Subway». Nope. Nothing. Therefore I will visit the other nearby locations. I wish they would at least work on their issues there so I can go to this location but from what I recall its always been like this. They need provide their employees with proper customer service training.

Cold cut trio on wheat was very good. Well toasted, nice assortment of veggies with the sandwich filled with mustard at just the right level. Not crazy about the long lines on a Saturday afternoon and the fact that the place somehow ran out of covers for the medium-sized cups, but it’s a decent place.

I have been an avid fan of the Subway Veggie Delight sandwich for twenty years. I recently moved into the neighborhood and was delighted to find a Subway so close to my domain. Upon entering the shop, I was immediately greeted with a genuine(NOT smarmy or disillusioned) «Welcome to Subway!» which brought a smile to my face. I like nice people. Two other features make this place truly unique: 1). When I ordered my Veggie Delight and the husband’s Spicy Italian, the girl behind the counter offered to use a separate knife to halve the vegetarian one. NEVERHASTHATBEENOFFEREDTOMEANYWHERE. I said no(there is something sinfully delicious about pepperoni oils), but was very very appreciative. 2). During my most recent visit, the place was packed. It was the bar at last call. Mayhem, panic, frenzy. The family in front of me was given my sandwich by accident(I was left with the Spicy and a Meatball). This switched-at-birth wasn’t realized until said family opened the wrapper and discovered a salad between two slices of bread. The girl behind the counter offered to make me a new sandwich simply because someone opened a wrapper! I said a grateful«yes» this time and she put the entire line on-hold until she made my Veggie Delight according to my specs. The Veggie Delight certainly is so, especially when constructed at this thoughtful establishment.
