Cramped space inside this location. Too small for regular volume. Beware of their food handling. Very sloppy. They butt sandwiches up against each other so meats touch veggie sandwiches. Get really crabby when it’s brought to their attention and they offer to make another as if you’ve asked them to cut off an arm. They are so sloppy making sandwiches that the veggie ingredients get mixed together for instance olives in the lettuce, etc. but then what should I expect for an affordable nourishing lunch?

Sub of the Week $ 5.00 for Footlong, $ 3.50 for 6 inch. Monday is Turkey, Wednesday is Roasted Chicken. New Healthier Chips and Drinks. Doesn’t get overly crowded during lunch which is good since the location is small.

The people there are super rude and I literally had to tell the girl how to make my BMT, she had no clue, annoying! That was one visit, another visit I had to explain a coupon to the girl who was VERY rude and was trying to tell me they can’t take my mobile coupon?! About 10 minutes later she can back and applied it. This was a coupon that I was sent for signing up for text alerts!!! The staff needs more education in customer service and how to make the sandwiches. I go because it’s convenient but I may not go back after today when I had to tell the girl how to make my sandwich.

My usual spot for a sandwich and where I know exactly who is gonna make me the perfect sandwich and who will make a total mess. Not gonna name names, but overall I find this Subway to be better than other Subways I go to.

Amazing attention to detail. Jared would be super happy, as I am. I enjoy the location, and I enjoy the outdoor seating of this location. They have the best mustard selection of any subway in this part of Carmel valley.(Seriously??? Best mustard selection???) I enjoy the diet coke on tap.

Sandwiches at subway adhere to their quote: «Eat Fresh!». This place is pretty much just your average subway, with its location conveniently located in Carmel Valley at the shopping center off of the Carmel Creek Rd exit/Valley Centre Dr. I’ve gone here a few times in the early morning and each subway visit was good. When I came on my most recent visit only one person was ahead of me so they weren’t too busy. Previous time I was the only person there besides one person who was hanging out and dining inside. There’s plenty of seating area which is nice for those who prefer to dine inside, although I usually get my order to go. For breakfast my go to order is the steak, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, which I’ve found tasty and a good deal with their combo which includes a drink. you can do soda or coffee. The customer service here has been fine on the two occasions I’ve been!

This Subway is definitely not worth going to. The staff seem indifferent to greet you as you walk in. My sandwich had barely any tuna on it. The server literally scraped the scooper off the edge and smeared what little there was on the bread. If I wanted a bread sandwich I could have eaten that at home.

Franchisca at the subway was extremely rude when we asked for more spinach, she’s a manager. She said we don’t have anymore then pulls out another thing of spinach when another person ordered. But then again it’s subway, what can you expect?

As always not enough employees. 15 minute Wait even though third in line. 2 employees moving in reverse. Now my sandwich is made but waiting for them to finish 2 sandwiches in front of me before they can wrap and ring me up. 25 minute ordeal. Never again.

This location was training someone today so it took us awhile to get our sandwiches. Poor guy messed up a bit, but it was ok. The office was very small, had 42-seaters and 14-seater tables, there’s also a patio outside but since it was raining we ate inside. The service and staff was alright. Food tastes the same as any other location. Needs more seating!

Came to this Subway today and was so surprised that there was no line. We came around 12:10pm before and the line was out the back door, so we ended up going to Vons to get a sandwich. Today we walked up around 12:15pm and there was literally one person in front of us already having their sandwich made. Some of the people working here are not pleasant — I’m not sure if they’re sick of serving corporate people(I probably would be) or if customers are regularly rude here, but they just didn’t have much joy and didn’t say hello or ask how I was doing. You know, the bulk of what it means to provide good customer service. #ByeFelicia Their food was good and the lady didn’t skimp on the chipotle southwestern sauce; so, no complains there. I ordered a 6″ black forest ham sandwich, $ 3.00, and a bag of chips, $ 1.10. Can’t beat those prices for a lunch that I didn’t make myself. Location is a little small, not much seating, but there is some seating outside and the inside is clean.

This Subway overcharges and sometimes provides less meat on sandwiches than is the Subway standard. The company does not care at all and has not responded to two survey comments. The store staff argued the points which are indefensible. These sort of transactions drive my business to an alternative establishment. If this Subway has multiple food shortage and over pricing errors on one receipt, I wonder how many times this is multiplied across customers, time periods, and stores… Issues with one transaction are: — the sandwich ordered was advertised as a $ 5 footlong and $ 3 for the six inch sandwich. This is online and even printed on the receipt for the order. However, I was charged $ 5.50 each for two footlong sandwiches when the order placed and received was for ONEANDONE-HALFSANDWICHES. So, we were over charged for the food provided and the price charged was more than price advertised on the website and even the TRANSACTIONRECEIPTPROVIDED. — the sandwiches only had half of the meat that is the Subway standard. The footlong had only four slices of ham and the six-inch had only two slices. Definitely, there were not two slices of meat folded together. Respectively, the standard is eight and four. However, at the time I did not know the standard so I didn’t comment. This got my attention and I researched online to positively determine that there was less meat than required. I commented on this at the site without response. A few days later, I went back to the same Subway and placed the same order. This time, the sandwiches had the correct number of meat slices and the charge was for a footlong and a six-inch sandwich. However, the price charged was $ 5.50 and $ 3.75 when it should have been, respectively $ 5.00 and $ 3.00. Note that the $ 5.00 and $ 3.00 price was advertised online and ONTHERECEIPT I received for this transaction. At that time, I called the previous discrepancy to the attention of the staff on duty and was told that the advertised prices and the prices charged could be different. Also, I was told that all sandwiches had the required amount of meat, eight and four respectively. Their mistake was very obvious and I was not looking to cause a problem. A refund for the mistake would have been fine. A coupon for a future order would have been fine. However, there was total denial of any problem. They could have said the employee who made the initial order was new and in training. That would have been okay. However, they acted like I was lying about a small sandwich order. To summarize, the advertised prices were on the second receipt for which I was overcharged for the second time. For the first order, I was charged for more food than received. And, for the first order, the sandwiches used only a half portion of meat. Unfortunately, I did not know the Subway standard and did not know the standard until I Googled it. If Subway had responded to my survey comments, I would not have posted this. If the store(#2926 at 3830 Valley Centre Drive) had taken any corrective initiative, I would not have posted.

It’s a subway, what more need I say? No, but really this is just another subway and in comparison to the average subway this one has a bit of a winning edge. It’s well kept and the staff is good at getting your order and getting you out fast at lunch which is good since I go here on my break.

Subway is the world’s largest chain of fast food places. They make a decent sandwich, at a good price, and offer a big variety of choices. I had a chicken breast sandwich today with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and red onions on their nine-grain honey oat roll. The only condiment I added was the sweet onion sauce. Tasty, but nothing particularly special. But what I like about Subway is that they are predictable and always nearby. The staff is cheerful and helpful, greeting you when you come and go. It’s not exactly a gourmet place, but it certainly is satisfying when that old hunger urge strikes!

Nice subs, mostly consistent, clean and good value especially with special deals and nice shared outdoor seating. Serving staff usually friendly and always changing but generally English isn’t their first language and me having a Welsh accent makes ordering difficult sometimes but I will keep going back. My favorite is grilled chicken breast with buffalo sauce and lots of veggies on whole wheat or flatbread, very tasty and quite healthy.

It’s subway… what can I say… this location has the most unfriendly people working here. I mean I am not looking for a conversation. But a smile would be nice. It’s close to our house. so I guess I will be back. I try to make them laugh every time I visit… still no luck!

My usual 3 star for subway. The breakfast is not too bad. There are a lot of seats outside but it’s crammed inside. Not a crazy line usually. Right next to a grocery store and a hardware store.

This place is conveniently located in Carmel Valley in the Vons shopping center a few doors down from Ace Hardware. Being that I work close by, I stop here often for lunch. This place does get busy around lunch time — probably due to all of the business people as well as TPHS students looking for a place to eat at. I have seen it where they have people lining up out the door for lunch. They do get people in and out pretty quick. They do have tables outside as well as a few inside if you would prefer to eat there. It is nice to have a healthy alternative to fast food for lunch as there are many fast food restaurants in the area.

Nothing really special here. I feel like I am repeating myself. SMALL location with LIMITED seating. About 4 sets of 4 person booths — larger groups will be eating in the outside courtyard. Kept fairly clean and the staff always seems friendly but the quality is less here than at the nearby Quizno’s. Narrow parking spaces and the SUV shuffle always equal fun at this overbuilt strip mall plaza.
