I have been eating breakfast and lunch here, almost every day for over eight years. The fact that I haven’t got tired of the food over that length of time should tell you how good it is. I definitely have my favorites: spicy sausage soup; egg salad; omelette’s; most of the daily special’s, and just about every salad they make.

This place is really warming up to me. It’s located right next to my work and I LOVE any of their breakfast items. I’m currently eating their chorizo breakfast burrito for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. I can’t remember the last time I had a chorizo burrito before this, but the one here is just that good. Chorizo burritos are usually so gross, greasy, heavy and have that radioactive orange color to them, but this one is perfect. Not greasy at all, packed with flavor and it’s just a perfect ratio of eggs, cheese, chorizo and a couple potatoes in there too. Ratios in burritos are soooo key! Aside from breakfast I’ve had a salad or two which was huge and delicious. I’ve also had a couple panini’s and sandwiches. It hits the spot every time. The pricing is comparable to other lunch options, but the only small downside is the wait. Sometimes it can be a little long, but it’s a popular place at lunch so you just have to wait your turn.

Great food and excellent service. After eating here I have never been dissatisfied with the taste or quality of food and it is highly recommended.

Foods delicious and healthy. They usually like people selecting there daily specials vs. there normal menu. I prefer getting there tuna melt or there white ricotta pizza when it’s available. But when it comes to there normal menu, I get the Waldorf Chicken Salad sandwich. If you want, you can make it a combo for $ 2 more, chips and fountain drink! There fountain drinks are better than what’s in the bottle/can. Lines do get long during lunch hour due to workers in and near the ICW building.

I’ve eaten here probably more than anywhere else ever. The food is delicious and always timely. I realized I’ve never given them a Unilocal review and I review enough. My favorites include the salads and Turkey Brie sandwich which is a regular scheduled special. By far one of my favorite foods is this sandwich. Definitely worth raving about.

Super convenient with good food, majority of the time. Set menu is pretty solid, can’t go wrong with any of their salads or focaccia sandwiches. Daily menu’s are mostly ok… today though… today’s MUST try is their Grilled Turkey Burger with Sriracha Aioli for less than $ 9. AMAZING! It’s a hit and miss sometimes for Turkey burgers, but this was perfect, juicy, flavorful, great balance all around. Can’t wait to order this one again. 4 stars because there’s friendly neighborhood café feel, super convenient for me, very reasonably priced items, great solid go-to items and sometimes, I get surprised with AMAZING stuff like today. Make great fries happen everyday and maybe I will make it a 5.

Management is really friendly. Had the bacon breakfast burrito which was great. Only complaint is that I could have eaten 5 of them. Really clean, indoor/outdoor dining. Great nook for business luncheon. Definately go back

We have lunch here once or twice a week, and I love the creativity that goes into their daily specials. They do have certain staples — like basic salads, sandwiches and black bean chili — oooh, the black bean chili is so good! But then there are the items that show up only once in a while, like the blackened chicken or the gorgonzola portabella mushroom pizza, and the specialty pastas. When I see certain items pop up on their daily specials, I feel like I just won something. :) They’re more than just the corner café, and the service is fast, warm and friendly.

SERVICE –The manager is friendly with only a few people. I’ve ordered from there for a year as they kind of have a monopoly on the building due to construction., and he’s never once been nice to me. He’s always gruff with customers and greets you with an, «okay what’ do you want?» If you forget your badge he won’t give you your discount even though you order from him every single morning. FOOD –The food is good for the most part. But Soups are really brothy, meatball subs always come out soggy, and their pulled pork is too pulled(it’s like eating pre-chewed food). Their pizza crust is often over done — and hey, sometimes I want a fluffy pizza crust, — ever think of switching it up? Their chili is not your average chili, it’s some cilantro infested abomination. Their cookies are flat and lack flavor and they never mix in the chocolate chips, they just throw a few on top. They don’t have fries… Who doesn’t have fries? COFFEE –You will rarely get a decent cup of good coffee. There are a couple of people working there who don’t know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. Also, the manager skimps on chocolate for mocha and hot chocolate so you may as well order warm milk because that’s what you’re getting. If he’s the one making your coffee you can forget it, it’s not going to be good. RECOMMENDATIONS –I recommend going to the Green Leaf Café over by the Double Tree. They have a better selection, atmosphere, prices, and better customer service.

My company used them to cater a breakfast meeting about a month ago. Was pretty underwhelmed with their presentation. We thought we’d try something different than Corner Bakery, but it just looked blah and pastries were meh. Sticking with CB.

Was in search of a lunch place near my office, and opted to come here because it’s locally owned and operated.(I try to frequent local small businesses) Have tried a variety of sandwiches and all have been great. My favorite being the waldorf chicken salad and the basil chicken salad. I liked it so much that I am having them cater an event I’m doing at my office. The food is great and the price is right!

As someone who has to meet 2:00pm deadlines on the regular, I usually end up taking my lunch at my desk. I mean, I’ve got a body fuel schedule to keep, and I’m not going to let work get in the way of that. In a previous post, I mentioned the sad ineptitude of our local deli(which is apparently going out of business in a few months), and I lamented the lack of a good local spot for me to grab a bite and run. Pacific Café is the antithesis of that ineptitude. These guys could have taken the easy way out and slapped mass-produced cold cuts on to Wonder bread and called it a day. But they didn’t. I’m not going to say they use the highest quality products money can buy, but it’s certainly not school lunch material. The salad portions are more than substantial, and if you happen to order one with a protein, expect to have a lot of meat. The sandwiches are put together well. The soups don’t even give you the feeling that you’re just eating dressed up Progresso. There are legitimate daily specials posted for every day of the work week, and this is where Pacific Café shines. A lot of places do «daily specials» which means, «We’ve got a lot of chicken patties so every Monday is $ 5 chicken sandwich day.» Pacific, on the other hand, seems to take pleasure in coming up with their daily specials. How about a prosciutto and arugula pizza? A Santa Fe chicken salad with beans and corn and a southwestern dressing? And all at a reasonable price. They are caterers as well, and I’ve had them supply the vittles for a couple of our meetings. Needless to say, Pacific Café is now our go-to for most firm meetings. If I could, I would eat here on the daily. But I know that would be hard on my gut.

For those of us who work in the valley, and I mean the real valley, aka The Swamp we have a few deli’s, some ok sandwich shops and markets, but we often look up the hill to the Ruths Chris and quite literally it’s a step up in class. We often pass it when we go to carmel valley for taco bell or the like, but Pacific Café is a different breed of lunch/breakfast places deep in corporate alley. Not just oil laden eggs the omelettes here are quite fluffy with a decent variety. The lunch is quite similar in that it has about twice the variety of any café in probably a 3 – 4 mile radius. The logo reminds me of Pacifc Marine Credit Union. If other places weren’t so close I’d come here more often. Something i do is I’ll get breakfast and order/pay for my lunch so i can call ahead and let them know when I’l be there and when to have it ready. If you want a better class of café sorrento, just look up and around the hill.

I was a bit concerned at first when I saw the line out the door but it moved very quickly. We ordered a variety of stuff. Pizza, Greek Salad and soup. All of it was very good! The staff was very friendly. Great Customer Service. Will definitely go back for more!

I love this place. Would go here all the time when it was Come on In and then we thought it moved. Went to the Come on In off of Lusk and the food was not as good at all. Then we found out that later that this is not Come on In any longer and were so happy that Pacific Café is still there and have the same great food! Love the Turkey Avocado Wrap and when the special is the Turkey and Bri with Cranberry Sandwich you have to try it. It is to die for. The food always comes out fast and everyone is so nice. I have used them for delivery for our board of directors meetings and they have never messed any order up. They label everything. Their salads are AWESOME!!! Great grilled chicken!

Owners were kind enough to re-deliver my original order of an egg salad sandwich on wheat with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and bacon. This time there was plenty of egg salad and I have no complaints. Today I happened to order their warm brie and turkey sandwich special. Damn, it was great! My other favorite thing here is the Palmito salad and the Roasted Beet salad. THEY are AWESOME. Also noteworthy, they are very popular in my office. Please keep it going! Thank you very much!
