Sydni Fox – Hairstylist

I don’t usually give 5 star reviews (or write reviews on Unilocal for that matter) but Sydni is an amazing hairstylist. I was skeptical about going to a professional stylist at a Salon because I’m a guy and don’t give much mind to my hair. A friend had recommended her and I was sick of paying places like super cuts for a mediocre cut. I can not tell you how happy I am with Sydni. She is great with suggesting styles since I don’t know much about how to have it cut. She is always so nice, calm, and friendly. From going place to place and not knowing what I wanted with my hair, I am definitely staying with Sydni. Besides just her, everyone who is at the salon is friendly and sweet. It’s a great atmosphere and very casual and relaxing. The location is also a plus: right off the 805 in North Park.

The haircut itself was worth 5 stars; very professional. Sydni took her time to make sure I was pleased with the outcome, which I was. Typically I am sensitive to people touching my hair, however I felt very comfortable at J Stila Salon. The salon itself was clean, they got me seated right away. The overall atmosphere was was enjoyable, and I was thoroughly surprised when I was offered beverages during my haircut. From the haircut, to the salon itself I give it 5 stars all around. Thanks Syndi, I’ll be back!

Sydni did a great job on my hair. I had been going to great clips and other ‘chain’ stores for most of my life. Sydni cut my hair and styled it great, and taught me how to handle it in the morning.
