Amazing! Sam is so wonderful. They got our transmission rebuilt in less than a week for just under $ 4k. He provided us with awesome service and he’s someone you feel like you can really trust with your car.

Sam — you guys are fair, professional, and efficient. My first great experience was with the oil change two weeks ago (1^st time guest — fair synthetic oil price for my 2004 325i BMW), and the second visit on 11÷24÷15 for my tune up. Your support in getting what needs to get done is keeping my car healthy while not making me get a mortgage to pay my auto bill. As I sat here & read all the reviews I am confused. Not only was I overcharged by Sam but he was also unprofessional. He continuously ran me in circles with high hopes. My car continues to over heat! I will never go back to this horrible place NOR refer anyone to this business. If you know what best for you, stay clear of this place.

I bought an ’88 Mercedes 300SE from T-​Tech and they also did some work it as part of the purchase of the car. I got a great deal and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m from NY and was merely visiting when I saw the car, so everything had to go smoothly… it did!
The owner and son are very friendly, it’s a very good sign that the owner drives an older BMW and the son is restoring his own 60’s Mercedes. They were committed to making sure the ’88 Mercedes ran nicely, including doing additional engine work that wasn’t even part of the purchase terms. They also fixed the AC before delivery, when the car got to me, I was shocked how well the AC worked on such an old car.
My only critique is that communication could be better, and some details about the car’s history were innaccurate. But they are honest and if you persistently ask questions, these guys will come through for you in the end.

You get what you pay for here. No master technicians for sure. they messed up several of my vehicles. They even fried my transmission by putting in the wrong fluid. Quite incompetent on some of the most basic car repairs. Sam, the owner, is super nice and is honest I suppose. However, he just doesn’t hire the best people. He hires the cheapest people. If you don’t plan to keep a car long or you don’t care much for your car, maybe you’ll save some money in the short term. But in the long run, you’ll pay more in money, time and aggravation. Cheap parts, cheap repairs, cheap quality.

I got a recommendation for this place from a friend and the tow truck driver recommended them too. My ball joint disconnected from my wheel knuckle when driving tearing my cv axle out. They fixed it all at half the price I was expecting it to cost. They also got it done before my rental car due back, so I sa, Would take my car there again.

The staff is very friendly and the prices are fair. They went above and beyond for me to solve my car’s problem! They found out my catalytic converter was covered under warranty and instead of charging me the $ to fix it there, they told me to get it done at the dealership for free! VERY HONEST PEOPLE!

There was one year that for some reason my whole family had problems with our cars all the time. Each time we went to the same auto shop, we always had to provide our information all over again, because the ownership of that store kept changing — 3 ownership changes in 1 year! At that point, I decided I needed to find a reliable auto mechanic that I could go back if there’re any problems after each service, especially when the auto shop «promised» to handle the parts’ warranties.
One day, my car was due for oil change. I Google-​searched around for good auto shops, and a”$ 9.95 oil change special” search result attracted me. That brought me to T-​Tech Auto. At that time, I was not sure if I could trust T-​Tech Auto because of the ownership changes experience, and $ 10 oil change probably included cheap oil. But oh well, I would never know until I tried. My customer relationship with T-​Tech Auto then began.
Sam (the owner) cares about his customers a lot. Everyone knows auto repair can be very expensive. When my mom’s old Camry was bad enough that it would cost me close to $ 1000 to get everything fixed, Sam understood the financial pain. He explained the problems to me, told me which problems had to be fixed immediately, and which ones could wait. He didn’t care if he would charge my credit card for $ 500 or $ 1000. He only wanted my mom to be able to drive the car safely.
Two months ago my car had a cracked windshield. I brought my car to Sam to get his advice whether or not the windshield needed to be replaced. When I drove up to his shop, he was about to grab lunch with his family. Instead, he told his family to wait so that he could check my windshield. Few minutes later, he told me that the crack was deep enough that not only the windshield needed to replaced, it also needed to be done ASAP or else it’d be very dangerous (he was right, the crack got at least 4x bigger in less than 48 hours!). So he said he would call his «windshield guy» to get a quote because he doesn’t do windshield repair/​replacement, and would call me back. The next day (it was a Saturday), Sam called me back with a quote. Out of curiosity, I asked if his shop was opened on Saturday. He said no, but because he got a call back from his «windshield guy», he wanted to call me right away. So he went back to the store just to get my phone number to call me.
Few days after my windshield was replaced, I removed the tape around it, and saw that the rubber piece on top was not glued tightly. I drove to Sam and showed him the problem. He called his windshield guy immediately to have him come back to his shop ASAP. So I brought my car back again on another day to have the rubber piece re-​glued. While I was waiting, Sam had to step out his shop for a little bit. Before he left, he reminded me a few times that I did not have to pay anything, as if he worried the windshield guy would charge me for re-​sealing the rubber while he was away.
I have never seen a customer-​oriented mechanic like Sam.
Sam always plays his role right: being a mechanic, not a salesman. He is here to help you fix your car’s problems, and he doesn’t sell you services or parts that you or your car doesn’t need. If he sees additional problems while fixing your car, he will give you his recommendation whether the problems should be addressed immediately, or if you can drive a bit more before you really have to get the problems fixed. A lot of mechanics out there (the ones I’ve experienced in the past) would try to suggest repairing more than your car really needs, or they’d say «in order to fix this, we also need to fix that. It’s a package deal» to try to charge you more money. But that’s not Sam. His theory is, if a part can be used for a little longer, then wait. Sometimes, he’d be honest with you that it’s a waste of money to get certain parts fixed, although it’s still your choice to decide how you spend the money, and he always respects your decision.
I’ve brought my 02 Accord, my 11 TSX, my mom’s 99 Camry, my sister’s 06 Altima, and my boyfriend’s 06 G35 to Sam for 3 years now, services range from $ 10 oil change to near $ 1000 major repairs in my mom’s Camry. With 3 years of experience, I can comfortably give a 5-​star rating to T-​Tech Auto.

As a woman with limited car knowledge, finding an honest mechanic has always been a challenge for me. I’ve walked into shops where they’ve (almost literally) tried to sell me blinker fluid trying to make a fast buck but at T Tech its obvious that this is not Sam’s approach. When repairs are needed, he clearly explains the problem and is thorough but conservative in his recommendations leaving me feeling confident that I’m not being swindled. I live by the beaches but because of the honesty and great service, I’ll continue to make the drive up to RB when I do need maintenance or repair work.

I was on my lunch and saw a 9.95 oil change special at T-​Tech Auto. The owners were very friendly. I pulled up and the staff didnot even give me the time of day. I guess at this place you have to park and go inside. I would go back for auto repairs. They seem honest and willing to help.
