Tayman Industries

Every morning Tayman comes to our complex, they block our parking lot, slam the trash containers down and start emptying the trash before quiet hours are over. I have a four month old infant and they wake him up every time– they have terrible customer service and the employees violate the rules of the complex. So unprofessional.
Update 8÷31÷15: again trash collection began before 8am which is against our complex’s quiet hour policy.
⁹⁄₁₄ & ⁹⁄₁₈ & 9÷20− trash collection again before 8am, against quiet hour policy.

Still ruining my life every Saturday AND Sunday. Tayman, could you PLEASE install wheels on all feet of the dumpsters w/​locks on them to prevent rolling? If you could at LEAST do that, that would make a HUGE difference. But i HIGHLY suggest you install cameras to monitor your drivers… because I GUARANTEE you would be MORTIFIED by how their «service» sounds at the crack of dawn on every weekend and pretty much every single day in the Oliver alley in PB. It’s honestly SICKENING that you care so little and do absolutely NOTHING to help us! I’ll say it again, SHAME ON YOU TAYMAN!

My experience has been great! This company was willing to listen to, and to address, a valid concern. They made an effort to adjust services to improve the situation, and they did so in a timely manner. I appreciate their professionalism very much!

I’ve been a property manager (both residential and commercial, but mostly commercial) in San Diego for the last 18 years. Tayman Industries has been, HANDS DOWN, the best trash vendor I’ve ever used. Their pricing is always the lowest bid, their invoicing is like clockwork and they structure their billing so that charges are steady. This is a huge deal when trying to write budgets. Further, their techs are more attentive than any other trash vendor I’ve used. It was explained to me by Tayman that their techs are incentivized to take the time to clean up any debris that spills from the bins when they pick up. That alone has saved me a lot of money in janitorial expense.
Their customer service is top notch. More like a small family-​owned business than a gigantic corporation. I never have to deal with a phone tree when I call, and I’ve never had a question go unanswered. And they ALWAYS do what they say they are going to do, which I cannot say for many of my vendors.
I’ve changed firms a handful of times in the last eight years, and I take this vendor with me to each new portfolio. It always impresses the boss.

I recently rented a roll away dumpster from Tayman for a DIY landscape project. I had never done this before, so I didn’t know what would be involved. The employees at Tayman were all very helpful, professional, polite, and answered the phone/​returned calls quickly. These «small» things make a difference. Tayman’s prices were better than other companies I called, and they let me keep the dumpster as long as I needed it without extra cost. It was so easy! I would definitely do business with them again.

We have been using Tayman services at 5319 Grant St. for awhile now and only recently did we have a small challenge that was met and resolved with such an outstanding outcome that I have to tell others about this company.
Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Their trucks are clean, their drivers are polite and courteous, and their prices are phenomenal. They really care as evidenced by our experience with them but also if you read some of these complaints that are not even from their actual customers but from people along their trash routes.
Exceptional customer service is something you never seem to get from your trash provider these days, trust us we know we have tried them all, but Tayman is top notch.
It’s a dirty job but Tayman does it so well!

These guys are simply the best!!! I’ve been so wowed by how comfortable it is to talk to them, make arrangements, and just get the process of the dumpster and hauling taken care of! Sean was extremely helpful in making sure I got exactly what I wanted and when I wanted it. They’re all very knowledgeable and very pro-​active about going above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. Very happy and will continue to use them and recommend them as long as I’m in San Diego!

Tayman Industries is awesome!!!

Tayman has been very helpful saving me money servicing my rental properties over my last hauler. And not only that they were friendly and able to get me a much cheaper quote quickly.
I’m glad that I found these guys, they made me feel less like a number than the bigger boys in town did.

Tayman Industries is the best trash hauler in San Diego. As a local contractor I often have need of large roll-​off trash bins, I have used most of the areas trash haulers and have found Tayman to be the best. They are very professional, on time, and have the best prices!

I called to get a quote for a bin for my younger cousin and the people I spoke with were all really nice. What i really liked was that they were all pretty young and it just seemed like a cool company. I’ve been screwed over by Waste Management in the past with pricing — and these guys gave me an awesome price in comparison with the other companies I called to get quotes from!
I’ll be calling them again!

I am seriously going to lose my mind with this f-​in garbage truck!!! They come down my street every morning at like 6am (even on Saturdays) and make so much noise its crazy. I can’t take it anymore, it’s like the loudest banging you can imagine for like 10 minutes straight. I have watched these garbage guys literally taking the dumpsters and repeatedly bang them into the curb to make as much noise as they can while the driver is on his cell phone while operating heavy machinery, it is sooooooooo messed up. It’s like shit, I am sorry you had to get up at the crack of dawn to clean up the worlds messes, but WTF??? This company is literally effecting the quality of life for the people that live on this street.
I mean, once a week, ok deal with it, but EVERY F-​IN MORNING!!! I think they are picking up the Starbucks garbage, which gives me one more glorious reason to hate Starbucks.
So, I called and asked if they can change the route so they come down my street at a later time, they did for ONE DAY, thats it!!! It sucks, because its right at that last hour of sleep before you have to get up for work.
So, I would love to drive past the owner of Tayman Industries house and just bang pots and pans like a 5 year old on New Years, right next to his window EVERY MORNING at 6AM until he stops this MADNESS!!!
