This is another location of the Tea Station brand. We stopped by here to get some boba tea after our weekend brunch. Not a lot of customers which is good, but the server was almost robotic when taking our orders. All of the servers are very young and I can see the lack of customer service training. To management: you guys need some work here… The tea I got was the royal milk tea with half sugar. The drink itself is not bad. I would recommend.

Some Tea Stations, you’ll get pretty dogged employees, no smile and just an all around bored look. Here, the girls are vibrant and friendly and really get to helping you right away. They’re taking 20% off regular cold drinks in honor of their 20th anniversary. We ordered a regular thai tea, regular taro smoothie, regular honey green tea and a large honeydew drink. There are varying levels of sweetness(see chart) but I usually get the ¼ sweetness. Not for the honey green tea, as that is already sweetened with duhhhh honey. And we ordered popcorn chicken… they understand popcorn chicken, even though it’s called something else on the menu. My brother loved the popcorn chicken, he said it was perfect. I liked it too, but I’ve honestly had better. Still, the flavor of Teastation popcorn chicken is one of the best. Great place for casual lunch or dinner, though dining area’s small inside. They’ve outdoor tables as well. Easy parking. Always a reliable dessert drink.

I like to order there Jasmine Green Milk Tea with ¾ sweetness! I believe that it’s the best in town because you can actually taste their«green tea» while other places taste like watered down tea. I’m not a fan of boba but when I order their boba from time to time, I’m always satisfied.

Cute and welcoming place to be that satisfies your tea needs. The tea flavored ground pork(or was it beef?) recipe with a bowl of hot steamy rice and side dishes was fantastic at a price of ~$ 8. I am also in love with the smoothies/shave ice(?)(peach or strawberry flavored) with custard pudding. The nice waiter/waitress always ask how much sugar is preferred. It’s great to have so many choices and variety.

I come here to order drink togo before head to work 2 times a week. Yesterday, i placed an order togo and i was in hurry so I forgot to get a stamp. Today, i call and ask whether i can get a stamp for that drink or not. The lady told me she needs to ask manager. After few minutes, she said the manager said no because i don’t have a receipt so there is no proof/evidence to show that i made purchase at Tea Station so there is nothing they can do for me. I have 3 full-stamped cards right now and I always forget to say I want to redeem it before i place an order. But i don’t mind and I keep coming to your place. And now, after today, i will choose another boba tea to get my drink before work. Bad customer service!!! Well, do not take a receipt after purchase is my fault, from now on, i will take every single reciept(not only at this place but alsp every other places) even the purchase is just a small amount to avoid any hassle or problem in the future. I still remember the name of person who took my order it is Am. on the reciept and i order Large Boba milk tea with regular sugar.

The drinks are pretty expensive and not that great. Soooo sweet! Me and my friends got the strawberry and brown sugar drink. I don’t know why they don’t just make it less sweet instead of having the customer telling them to make it less sweet *o*…

I come her very often now as I stopped coming to tap. My friend told me to try the green milk tea, and so that’s what I got with ½ sugar. The drink wasn’t too sweet or to bland it was perfect and the tea flavor really comes through. Not your artificial tasting flavor. The only downside is a regular size drink can run you like 4+ when there’s no special.

Paid the teriyaki eel meal for $ 15.11 Togo. The food was so small and the eel was so fishy. Im not eating this meal ever again. Everything is so expensive. Bad quality and small quantity!!!

False advertisement. Their $ 2.99 drink is before tax. Therefore, it actually comes out at $ 3 something for a MEDIuM drink. Also, note that this is only for milk teas and green teas. Also, VERYBAD Service!!! I walked in, the girl working was roaming around and randomly asked what my order was and left. Once i got to the cashier, she asked me again. It was my first time in this store. I only wanted to get my 2.99 drink… and ended up with a $ 6+ drink… They didnt help at all which made the whole process of taking my order complicated.

wanted brown sugar ginger boba tea and went on a hunt for boba tea. First stop was Tapioca Express and they didn’t have it but their prices are so much better than Tea Station down the street. All the beverages are at least a dollar more at the Tea Station than Tapioca Express. We ordered the brown sugar boba, barley boba tea and my niece got the oreo shake and the total came out to be 18.00. I thought that’s really pricey for 3 beverages, will probably be checking out other boba tea shops before coming back.

Came here to try their boba and was not impress. It’s $ 5.75 for a small boba and they slapped the ice full! I basically paid $ 5.75 for ice. I couldn’t even taste the tea or flavor because it was so diluted! The Oreo ice drink was all sugar!!! Diabetes waiting to happen!

Get the brown sugar milk tea! It’s really good, hot or cold! It’s my favorite drink from here. I’m updating my review as I’ve visited many more times since my first review. The drinks are still quite pricey. They usually come out to be over $ 5… like really. To-go cups are an additional $ 0.25. Fortunately, there are monthly deals for select drinks priced at $ 3.99! The menu for this alternates, but the drinks usually taste pretty good and that price is a steal for Tea Station. The food is actually pretty good. They have a good selection of different items from popcorn chicken to shaved ice to Taiwanese sausages. The tea quality is definitely more high quality(I would hope, with what they’re charging) and the boba is a hit or miss. Some of their drinks can be really sweet so I would recommend getting half sugar or less! Their service isn’t too bad and it’s a nice place to hang out/catch up with friends. There is no longer a minimum for using card, which is nice! And remember to get that stamp card punched!

I don’t like coming here anymore. Service is just horrible. I come here many times to give it a try because my experienced here used to be so good! The last time they made me rose milk green tea, it wasn’t even good or the right color. The service is just so awful. All the good servers left to probably find better jobs. I don’t know. Drinks don’t taste good as it used to and service is just always bad for me now. Never coming to this location again.

This is not a bad place to go and sit for a little bit. I went in with a couple of my friends because we were wanting to get some boba drinks and this place was close by. We all decided to sit down and enjoy the restaurant. The ladies that were helping us were really nice and very sweet. The only downside they can take a little while to help you. We placed our orders and waited a little bit for our drinks. The ambiance is nice and the seating was nice too. The store is clean, organized and offers more than just drinks and foodies(there are dry teas and cups on their shelves for purchase). The food/drinks are ok. One of my friends ended up receiving the wrong type of drink and had to wait for one of the ladies to remake it for her. The wait wasn’t as long for this drink, but we still had to wait a bit for it to be made. Not a bad place and the people are nice, but the food/drinks aren’t that spectacular.

Have been here multiple times and have enjoyed the teas but customer service needs improvement. Our table of 7 ordered multiple drinks… half out table got the drinks and the other half completely got forgotten about… we had to go remind them and we decided to cancel the teas… normally great but now wishing I had gone somewhere else… Even after reminding them about our order and only ordering the condensed milk toast they still forgot and since they saw us staring at them they rushed it. yeah. Train new people during off hours not on a Friday nite… If Annie was here it wouldn’t have happened. Wanted my Ginger Jujubee Tea.

I have to say it is better then the Kearny Mesa location, due to not being so crowded and waiting forever to even get a seat. Adorably priced and I like the variety of Asian dishes they’ve got. I usually find myself returning to tea station.

Ordered two slushies and peanut butter toast for 17.77! Which seems pretty outrageous but I suppose their late hours have a play in their drink pricing. Drinks were made under two minutes. Although the toast on the other hand took 20mins! I don’t know how it’s made exactly but I’m pretty sure it’s not freshly baked so I’m not sure why anything would take that long on a slow night. Our drinks were finished by the time we got our toast. Not a big fan of this place. Only reason we went was because tap ex was closed. Also my macha ice cream smoothie looked dead to say the least and no floating ice cream like their advertised picture. All in all not too happy… probably won’t return unless I’m DESPERATE.

I’ve been here twice and both times was good experience. The first time was from the encouragement of a friend to try it out. We went in and I was pleased at the variety of both food and drinks there were. I like how they have choices on how sweet you want your drink from no sugar-regular(full amount) sugar. There are choices in between. I just got a type of iced black tea then. My 2nd time I had some time and was hungry. I dined in and ordered Takoyaki, ramen and their coffee milk tea. I hadn’t had the Takoyaki before and was pleased with it. The ramen is decent. It had a whole hard boiled egg(that’s normal), but it wasn’t sliced or cut(not normal). I had to work on cutting that myself. The coffee milk tea though, spot on! The boba is little tougher than what I prefer, but oh well. I enjoy it none of the less . I will be coming back.

THISPLACESUCKS! Walked in with my friend and stood there for a good while and the associate that was standing on the computer there didn’t say a thing at all. Hi? Hello? Welcome? Do we seat ourselves? Are you going to even ackowledge us? We just grabbed menus and sat at a table. My friend ordered matcha green tea ice cream milk tea — $ 8 I ordered strawberry pudding milk tea — $ 5 My strawberry puddling milk tea was straight up nasty. I took a sip of it and didn’t drink it again. What a waste. It was watered down and the drink separated from the mix and water. As for my friends drink it was good but NOT worth 8 bucks. We ordered spicy chicken and spicy wontons and it took literally 35 – 40 minutes for the food to get out to us! Why should it take that long?! There were only 3 other tables of 2 people. When we got our check the waiter handed it to us and stood there to wait for us to take out our cards. I was going to finish my food first before paying but since she was standing there I guess I’ll take out my card. Then she came back with the receipt and stood there AGAIN and waited for us to sign it. Ruude… I’m a server and I would never do that. You weren’t even around in the beginning but when we are paying you want to be so on top of it to receive your money. I’ll be taking my money to a different boba spot with better drinks for a cheaper price and better service.

My boyfriend and I stopped by here after having dinner at crab pub. Both are GREAT spots and they’re right next door to each other!(: Tea station wasn’t what we were expecting. We both thought it was any normal boba spot, but we were both wrong. We were stunned in the different variety of drinks they offered.(Hot tea, milk tea, boba, etc.) It’s also a little nice spot to grab a bite! I loved our choices we picked. Winter melon milk tea and coconut milk tea. Delicious! There was so much more to what we were expecting! & I would love to come back here and grab a drink/bite.

The food here is good! But the drink is so so and too expensive for that. $ 6 for the freaken boba u should be kidding me and just regular size, they will charge you if you want to add something in the drink. I love to go 85c bakery way better than here but it too far so I go to this place sometimes because close to my home. I think they changed the owner that’s why they made new menu and changed at all the prices if you changed like that you should treat customers like what they pay for and train your servers!!!

If you like watered down tea and hard, chewy boba, This is the place to go. The first time I came to this place, it felt awkward. My friend just wanted to order tea but this older guy who works there kept asking if we wanted to sit down. My friend told him no and he ordered his drink. The setting is kind of confusing. It’s not as casual as Tapex, but more of a dine-in I guess. My second visit was with my sis. We were quickly greeted by the entire staff. We found an empty table and waited there for a few minutes. I guess we were supposed to pick up the menus on the way in? So I grabbed them and sat back down. When we figured out what to order, there was no waiter. So I got up again to order but the waiter finally popped up. I was so confused. Anyways, we ordered the summer special of popcorn chicken for $ 6.99. It was delicious! But! Don’t expect it to come with an egg and ranch like at Tapex. Our drinks, on the other hand, were sooo watered down. I ordered the mocha snow ice and honestly, it was a waste of freakin’ $ 6. And that’s for a regular size! Come on now. My sis got the large oreo snow ice. It wasn’t as watered down but it really was Not the greatest. Don’t get me started on the boba. CHEWY. That’s all I gotsta say on that. On top of that! Literally. The whip cream was an additional $ 1. Brah. You gotta be kidding me. Ergh. Anyways, I wanted my check but the waiter was just talking to the baristas making childish comments to each other. I know it’s okay to have fun, but you might want to pay attention to the few people at your place. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to pay up there so I asked a girl passing by and she gave me so much attitude. Trying to make me look stupid like I Knew«It’d be faster to pay up there» with a «duhh» tone. Bottom line is, management needs to train their staff better or hire different ones. Also, if you’re just gonna say«Welcome to tea Station!», you might want to add, «Are you dining in or ordering to go?» Some crap like that. It’s just too confusing. I’m trying to help you out, but I’ll be going to Tapex from now on.

This place is hidden behind smash burger so it can be easily missed. But I like going to this tea station more because they know how to make my drinks RIGHT. Boba isn’t the best here(hard) but it’s ok cause I come here for the traditional Taiwanese tea. Now service here is a MISS when you dine in here. Me and my friend dine in here one day and they charged us for an item that we didn’t even had but told us that it was the drink that we got and since they didn’t it on the computer they just randomly picked a drink to put it on our check. So next time write it on the check and let us know instead of just hand it to us and expect us to know. And when we where walking out we heard them saying that we where stupid for not knowing how they charged people in CHINESE. We where so mad. Never will be dining in there ever again. That’s why I only get my drinks TOGO.

There are better boba places out there for tremendously better prices. I personally feel that this place is too overpriced. I usually order the basic milk tea or milk green tea. Milk Tea: Love the consistency of the boba, the honey they add makes it 10 times better. It’s not too hard and not too soft, I just wished they added a little more boba in my drinks. Milk green tea: I love everything about this drink itself but this place makes it inconsistent. One day it will be real good and the next it’ll taste like overdue milk. Customer Service: This place is Chinese owned so they don’t really speak English. It’s hard to communicate if you have any other questions besides ordering something on the menu. For example, if you have a question about something on the menu it’ll take at least 10 minutes to get an understanding answer. This happened to my sister and I many times. Overall, this place is cool because everything is tea flavored but the cons are that it’s overpriced and workers should be more welcoming.

Good place to go for flavored tea and regular tea. I go here for the hot taro milk tea when i need to chill and unwind. They have a good variety of snacks. My favorite so far is the sweet butter toast, Taiwanese sausage and fried wontons. They also have a list of meals you can choose. So far I’ve tried out and like the tea flavored curry chicken and tea flavored braised pork chop. Im not a fan of their noodles. It definitely taste like instant noodles so I usually dont get it. The drinks here is what made this place my favorite from most tea place. I absolutely love the strawberry pudding, milk taro(my #1 favorite), ice fresh lemon green tea and lychee green tea. Be warned though, their flavored tea gets really sweet but you can order them with half the sugar. Staff here are quick but im not sure if they are friendly. Only saying that because i feel like they are always on a rush and rarely smile. Its like their all business lol Parking kind of suck here. The spaces are just enough to fit the car. I do fear one day my car will get hit on the side if they park too close. If you love cold and hot tea like me this place is definitely for you :)

Boba is such a fun thing to drink. When I visit Tea Station with my friends I always get an iced Milk Tea with boba. I normally don’t like hot things so I stay clear from those mouth burning devils. My favorite iced milk tea is the brown sugar with 50% sugar, otherwise it’s waaaay to sweet. The snacks that they offer are ok, nothing spectacular. The one thing I keep ordering is the buttered toast with different flavors, my favorite is the sweetened condensed milk. Service is good. Sometimes it can get pretty busy, but they seem to manage and get everyone what they need quickly. Don’t forget to get your punch card!!! They have take– out options too if you want to go home and enjoy your snacks and drinks. They sell cute tea pots, tea cups and different teas. Lots of parking on that little strip mall.

A great place for tea lovers and for a quick meal. There is always something to try. If you prefer hot tea, cold tea, or frozen/frap tea. I have tried multiple teas(some good and some ok in my opinion) am wanting to try more. Food: Plenty of Asian cuisine soups and other bento items on the menu! Service: Service has always been great in my experience. It varies from time to time when you are ready for the bill. Sometimes the waiter/waitress will drop it off. If not you go to the front register. That still allows you to leave when ever you like. Also, if your waiter does not bring you water there will be a pitcher on the counter that is there for self serve. Again no waiting for the waiter to pour you water. Did not really care for the Orea Shaved Ice though Note: You may admire some of the themed glasses, tea cups found here :)
