Telesystems has been in business since 1984. A licensed low voltage contractor that can provide customers with quality Structured Wiring Network installations for Telephone, CAT5E and CAT6 Data networks, and CATV RG6 Coax cable TV cabling for both Residential and Commercial Business applications.

If you need telephone line installation, dialtone activation, repair, Demarc extensions, cross connects, troubleshooting, custom residential wiring, system upgrades, programming, adds, moves and changes — Telesystems can handle all your Voice, TV and Data cabling needs, usually within 1 — 2 days.

Fast, professional, friendly, fair and knowledgeable
With no phone service for 2 days, I was so pleased that Mark could come right out. The Att repair person couldn’t locate the issue and wanted to charge me exorbitant fees to install new lines instead. Mark was tenacious and finally located the problem. I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently he worked. But most of all, his professional pride kept him going until he had the job done. Hooray! What was really terrific was his incredibly fair bill after all that he had to go through. I definitely want to recommend him to others.

After talking to the owner of this company that uses 2 alias and he was rude and calling me a liar! After I stated to him that he charged for a job I was not satisfiedhe continuously kept arguing with me over the telephone today, unbelievable some people cannot take criticism well and this is clearly an owner that does not! Instead of arguing maybe you should try to fix the problem I think I found the root of the problem it’s him the owner! Take ownership when you are wrong! I am A dissatisfied customer and I have the right to put up a review and I don’t need anyone to sit there and talk to me that way! And Mark/​Dave I really don’t care for anymore harassing phone calls.

Mark was friendly on the phone when I called late on Friday afternoon. It wasn’t an emergency, so we set an appointment for the next day. Mark arrived on time today, was courteous and helpful. He talked me through what he was doing to locate a phone line issue buried somewhere in the maze of wiring throughout our home. He systematically narrowed down the areas until he found the fault, fixed it quickly and also gave me recommendations about some other steps I could take (and people to call) to upgrade my overall communication experience. His price was VERY fair and I was totally satisfied with his work. His number is now top of my directory for any future communication line issues. I can highly recommend this company.

In order to «cut the cord» I needed some coax cables installed. After describing my needs to Mark we set up an appointment. He arrived on time more than prepared to do the job. He ran two cables down through my living room wall, one for internet and the other for an off-​the-​air antenna. Mark put on a new wall plate that accommodated both the new and existing cables. Since his visit, everything has been functioning flawlessly. Just before Mark climbed down out of my attic, he threw down several pieces of cabling left behind by other installers through the years. I don’t think many people would have done that. Given the quality of the work and level of professionalism I’d say that I got great value for my money. The changes I’ll make utilizing my new cabling will save me over $ 800/​yr. Mark will be the only guy I’ll call for wiring in the future.

Following a power outage, our office phones had power but no dial tone. The phone manual didn’t help, and the connection from outside checked out fine. I emailed Mark after hours, and the very next morning our phones were fixed! He explained that we would be back in the same boat the next time this happened, and offered to install a backup battery to avoid the inconvenience and repair bill. His dog was really cute and helped him navigate our treacherous attic!

I’m not one to write bad reviews, but from the minute the guy answered the phone, he was condescending and rude. I wasn’t sure what type of phone I had, because it did not have a serial number and he acted like I was an idiot. I’m not sure about their other offices, but don’t call the UTC location.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and went the extra mile.
We are a very small organization that relies heavily on our phones for our business. We asked Telesystems to add two phones to our existing system. They did that AND improved the system that was already in place by teaching us how to use it.
We were paying for voice mail through our phone carrier and it was already in place in our phone system. Telesystems pointed out this duplication to us resulting in a reduced monthly phone bill as well!
I highly recommend this professional team.

The guy who I originally hired to wire my new office did a poor job — the lines didn’t ring in order, some lines worked in some offices and not in others, it was a mess. The guy first blamed it on Cox Cables, then the phones themselves. I called Telesystems and the problems were all solved in about an hour. The problem? No cox cable, not the telephones… but the original wiring. This guy knows what he is going!

We hired mark to wire our new 5000 square foot office. He pulled in over 60 new internet lines for us all throughout the office.
He has super fair prices and got the job done just as he said he would. Very professional and easy to work with.
After the job was done he called a few time to make sure everything was working correctly.

I needed my prewired Cat 5 house hooked up and was having a tough time finding someone to do it. The wires did not have terminals on the end and were all in a jumble, so it was not a straightforward job. Fortunately, a friend referred me to Mark. He did a great job and I would hire him again.

We just had Mark come out to attach some of our phone lines to the server? and check our data jacks that weren’t working. He was on-​time, prompt, and knowledgeable about any questions I asked. He was meticulous about his work and it shows in the end product.

Mark is the best! I searched long and hard for san diego phone systems and san diego phone repair people and came up empty handed. He’s reliable, his prices are extremely fair and he knows how to do pretty much anything related to phone systems. I’ve thrown every odd job his way, from setting up a multi-​unit camera system to taking an old phone system I got for free and making it fully functional again (saving me thousands of dollars). Mark can be a little shy but once you get to know him, you’ll see that he not only knows his stuff but he’s a sweet, caring person too. I recommend Mark to anyone that needs phone services and I’d gladly use him again.

When we bought a house from the 60’s I wanted a structured cable system installed, but had a hard time finding someone to do it. After having three other installers work on it (a recommended contractor, a friend of a friend and Cox) it worked, but the closet looked like an exploded spaghetti factory. I finally resorted to Craig’s List and found Telesystems. He came out and cleaned everything to my very picky standards and charged a fair price. That was about 18 months ago.
Just this last week I was having insulation installed and one of the phone lines went dead due to the insulation installers crawling around in the rafters. I called Telesystems and he came over promptly and again made everything work and left the closet looking neat and tidy.
If something goes wrong again I will definitely call him back!

Switched Phone companies and needed someone to move our lines from one block to another (internal wiring)
We found him on Craigslist. He was polite on the phone. He is a contractor and current with his licensing through the CSLB (Contractors State License Board) as of October 2012.
We wanted a professional even though our neighbors Sunshine communications always handles the switches for Cox and agreed to move the lines for us. anytime you get a favor it is always as time permits.
He made the changes. He had a bit of a qwerky personality but seemed ok. He does bring his dog but asks you if it is ok that he WILL be bringing it… ok…yes?
When he was finished Cox had not yet ported two lines over. This would be done at the end of the week. Instead of us being able to handle this via the neighbor…, he instructs COX to call him direct when our numbers were finished porting and for some reason he dispatched himself.(I didn’t know this until after he showed up to finish the port and needed payment) So he showed up for the 2nd time and instead of the 150.00 that we had already paid him, it was an additional 60.00. I mentioned to him that he told me 0.00 was his rate to come out but that we agreed upon 150.00 total. He INSISTED and did not let it go… that his minimum was 60.00. I said ok I will pay it but we wont use you again. he said ok well I know what I said on the phone. I said that is interesting because initially it was 150.00 to move all lines and you said IF, you had to come out to move the last two lines 50.00. now all of a sudden 60.00 and who asked you to co me out anyways. I understand coming out is not free. But, to tell me that his minimum was more than what was agreed, act on our behalf and dispatch yourself, unprofessional. I would not use him again, ever.
