5 stars for the Chipotle Chicken sandwich: hot melty cheese, juicy chicken, soft fresh bread. Plus. A surprise little homemade cookie to brighten my lunch break. Oh, and genuinely friendly service, with a family run feel.

The best sandwich shop I’ve ever been to. My mom and I pick it up almost twice a week; nothing can top this place!

This place is delicious. And reasonably priced! It’s family owned, and I love coming here over any chain sandwich shop – especially since it tastes better than most, too. They really go the extra mile by giving you a cookie and piece of candy in your bag. It’s the little things that count. But every time I come here(which is often) I always leave happy. If you haven’t been, I recommend checking it out. I like the pastrami, but anything on the menu, can’t go wrong!

I have been to this place a few times… And I have never been disappointed. The sandwiches are delicious and fresh every single time! The prices seem to be fare also! I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

The folks who operate this neat little sandwich shop are some of the nicest people ever. They are patient with each person despite the anxious people who pour in for the lunch hour rush every day. I think everyone who has ate here knows that the food is well worth the wait. I wish they had more people on staff that can help with the lines when it’s a rush but I understand. Great food nonetheless.

Sandwiches are reasonably priced, most if not all under $ 10. They also deliver in the area for a fee. I ordered the Alberquerque Chicken sandwich. It was okay. A bit on the bland side even with the bbq sauce. Sandwich came with a cookie. Overall, I woukd probably try this again but another sandwich choice. They also serve salads here and soups.

Just stopped in to Gourmet Bagger for a quick Pastrami sandwich(The Pastrami Bagger) and it was very delicious. My friend had the meatball sandwich and he said he’s had some of their other stuff and everything is just awesome. The server was happy and helpful and the whole experience was extremely satisfying! Not only that, but the prices were extremely affordable for the area!!! They made a customer out of me today! :)

I’ve been here twice and both times it’s been pretty good. I can’t remember what I had the first time, but remember leaving the place satisfied. The second time I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich. I’ll say this, taste wise, it was delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was the size of the sandwich. It was on a hero roll, but it seemed rather small and I was still hungry afterwards. All in all, great taste, good cookies, and I will be going back.

This is my second time here. Last time it was a roast beef sandwich and today it’s the turkey grinder(suggested my another customer inline– thank you) This place is fantastic, stop by there’s plenty of parking just across Carl’s Jr(yuck), fantastic team that works here.

First time here and I am so impressed! I passed by this place so many times and never really gave it any thought until my boyfriend took me here to see their vegetarian options. They have quite a few options for those of us who don’t eat meat. They have lots of choices on their menus! I’m so serious. I am so glad he chose this place for lunch. We ordered a harvest burger which is vegetarian for me and he chose a grilled ham and cheese. We waited about maybe 10 mins and it arrived and the food was hot and it just looked amazing! The taste was amazing too. Oh gosh, thinking about it makes me hungry. They came with free cookies too! Really good cookies! I don’t think I’ll ever go to another subway or sandwich place again. This is just too good. So glad we live by one.

Came here with a group of friends for a quick bite based on a recommendation. This place was pretty good but OMG there was no parking. It took me a solid 5 min to find a spot, and even still, I don’t think it was a real parking spot. I ordered the Cali BLT and it was pretty good. I was hoping for a little better bread but it was still pretty good. It took a little while for it to come out because there were quite a few of us and they like to serve your entire table at once. All in all it was good. I would be interested to go back and try it again.

Great Veggie Burger called Harvest Burger. Everything in this burger is healthy even the wheat bread. The brown bag you get comes with a cookie & candy. I love the cookies that I bought more the big chocolate cookie. Of Course this place is always busy but quick service! The Cranberry Turkey Sandwich I tried years ago is Yum too!

Out shopping with lil’ sis and the hunger hit her. I checked bookmarks and we made a choice. They were closing in 15 minutes so takeout only which was fine. They had run out of French rolls which most sandwiches were made on so we ended up with sliced bread which was fine but I’m sure the French rolls would’ve been bomb. She got the Bagger cheesesteak and I got the chicken cheesesteak(or vice versa-can’t remember), both with chips. We both eyeballed and admired the chocolate chip cookies but didn’t opt for any. Lo and behold — free cookie in our bags! Friendly service, pretty clean considering the size and the rush had ended a short while ago, and very fresh. Both sammies were delish with melty cheese, flavorful veggies and soft bread!

Worst cheesesteak in San Diego. Who puts TOMATO? on a cheesesteak? no one anywhere ever. Except here. Because apparently they do not know what they are doing. I have never been back to try anything else because it was that bad. I will never forget how quickly I wanted out of their because of the overwhelming fumes from pine sol and bleach. It did not even smell like food in there. I nearly passed out the fumes were so strong. I will say they made a lasting impression because that was a couple years back and whenever I drive by the place i am like ‘EW it’s that gross cheesesteak place’

This is a small sandwich spot located at the edge of a strip mall. It can get busy at times which can make it hard to find parking, but not impossible. There are several tables inside and a few outside. During lunch, the lines can form out the door, might be difficult to find a place to sit, but the wait is worth it. Save time and pick up a menu to decide what you want to order before you get up to the front… or even call it in for pick-up. We have tried the Pesto Turkey Bagger(turkey, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, green leaf, tomatoes, onions, and pesto spread) and the Chipotle Chicken(grilled chicken, bacon, provolone cheese, tomato, and chipotle mayo). Both were very flavorful and the bread was nice and soft. We made them meals and got chips and a drink. Every sandwich comes with their homemade chocolate chip cookie which is a great way to finish off the meal. You can buy more cookies at the register if you want more. They have salads, regular deli sandwiches, and a large selection of gourmet sandwiches to choose from. Prices are reasonable. If you enjoy sandwiches, give this place a try. If can’t decide on what to get, order the CHIPOTLECHICKEN.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. The only sandwich I get is the Turkey Day Any Day Sandwich. It’s pretty much thanksgiving in a sandwich. And who doesn’t love Thanksgiving?! Sliced up turkey, stuffing, cranberry, little bit of mayo and some lettuce. Ahhhh! I just love it. Even the bread is a light doughy bread not a heavy one that overpowers the sandwich. You always get a small cookie in your bag along with a mint(so considerate)! Lemme tell you about this cookie though… it’s delicious. If you are the type to not really let your cookies baked all the way and buttery, this cookie is for you. They even sell huge sizes in the front(and by huge, i mean the palm of your hand). Many sandwich choices, it won’t disappoint. Small restaurant, gets busy at lunch, hard to find a seat sometimes but it’s worth the trip!

Located in a busy strip mall, it can be hard to find parking directly near this sandwich shop, but if you find a spot it’s worth it. Fairly priced, and food that comes out quick is always a plus during our busy lunch breaks and the bagger provides that. I tried the turkey pesto burger; a deli style turkey sandwich with pesto spread, cream cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and onions on nice multi grain bread. The sandwich, a drink and a complimentary cookie all under $ 10. The sandwich was really good, especially since I’m not necessarily a big deli meat fan. The complimentary cookie was even better; very soft, chewy, loaded with chocolate chips, and perfectly sweet. Next time we’re looking for quick lunch, we’ll return to try one of their hot bagger sandwiches!

I’m going to give it another try and I may update my review at that time… for now, eh. Came across this place after shopping at home goods. The reviews looked good so thought we’d give it a go. I ordered a gourmet grinder(like an Italian sandwich) and found it to be a little dry. It said it had Italian dressing but it may have been better with a little mayo. Also, the tomatoes looked amazing but I found my sandwich had the tiniest sliver. The sandwich mainly tasted like ham. The sandwich is served with a cookie and a candy. That definitely made it cute but sadly did not make the sandwich better. While eating we looked at a few fellow Unilocaler pics and determined we need to make another trip because some of the chicken sandwiches looked amazing! Maybe next time!

Working long shifts in the area, was looking for a sandwich place and this place popped up. With very limited hours on a Sunday, I made sure to get in here before they closed. To my surprise, it was actually very busy on a Sunday afternoon. I decided to order the Turkey Pesto Bagger sandwich and luckily they had some of their delicious chocolate chip cookies left, the last ones! The turkey pesto bagger sandwich( ) comes with house made pesto sauce, turkey, onions, swiss, and cream cheese on a multigrain bread. I’m not really a big fan of cream cheese, so I skipped out on that. The turkey was cut thin, the produce was fresh and the pesto sauce was great. The mutligrain bread was toasted perfectly and was sorta of seedy. The sandwich was kinda small for the price($ 7), you’d expect some avocado or something. The real gem here is the chocolate chip cookies( ). These were soft fresh cookies with just the right amount of chocolate chip to them. I didn’t read about it, but you get a small sample of one with each sandwich and then they sell them on the side for $ 2.50. I guess they run out though towards the end of the day, I was there around 1pm and got the last one. It’s a rather decent lunch spot for the Midway district area, however its kinda pricey for how much sandwich you get. The cookies are really good here though, a lot better than you find at most bakeries. I’d like to come back to try out some different sandwiches, maybe some with some avocado.
