Specialties
Since 2008, the Jesus Geeks has been helping thousands in the community of San Diego remove viruses and spyware, clean up PCs, assist in upgrading, backing up computer data, giving computer advice to those who seek it, and more… at exceptionally low donation rates. The Jesus Geeks believe no one should be without honest, extraordinary, and affordable computer repair service.
While some computer service companies are seeking to make a quick buck and profit, the Jesus Geeks always strive to serve. The funds received through computer repair help them refurbish donated computers for kids in need of technology for educational purposes. They are Microsoft Registered Refurbishers and any working computer donated, can be refurbished and donated to someone or an organization in need.
So help us help you help someone else. Come visit @ their storefront during store hours, even if it’s just to ask a computer question you’ve been dying to know the answer to but have been too afraid to ask.
History
Established in 2008.
The Jesus Geeks began at the Rock Church as a ministry to share the love of Jesus by fixing computers for donations. When a customer contacts them through phone or through the website, they schedule a time to meet them at their homes.
During a ministry fair, they met Sheri Briggs who helps refugee families with clothes, furniture, and food. That’s when the Jesus Geeks found out that so many kids struggled with school due to the lack of technology and Internet access.
Today, The Jesus Geeks only does special on-sites and reserves a room at the Rock Church where all their repair equipment can stay and they can serve their customers there. Through the funds received, the Jesus Geeks has helped several families gain access to technology giving them a chance to excel in school. We appreciate everyone that has used our services because without them, we couldn’t share God’s love for the San Diego community the way we do.
Meet the Business Owner
Jack C.
Business Owner
Jack is a computer tech/web developer. He became a Christian in April of 2005 during the Rock Easter celebration at the Cox Arena. After the Easter service, he could not get the gospel message out of his head and knew he had to take action. During a graveyard shift alone at work, he decided to call out to Jesus and ask him to prove that he was real. After his heartfelt conversation to God, he headed back to his desk to smoke a cigarette. While staring at the pack of cigarettes, he felt a strange peace and felt someone telling him that he wouldn’t be needing the cigarettes anymore. Jack through the pack away and never craved another cigarette every again. The next day, he knew he had the proof he asked for and decided to find out more about this God.
That day forward, he felt God calling him to dedicate his technical skills to helping people in need of God’s love. His wife Iirai has helped him build the Jesus Geeks ministry since it was a great opportunity to help others.
