This man was patronizing and disdainful from the start. I went in for a consultation, and left feeling even more victimized by a legal system which is preying on those who are caught up in the big business of divorce. Needless to say, I decided not to retain this man and found a great lawyer who was not only very competent but also kind, supportive, and a decent human being. I would never recommend this man.

I give Mr. Starks 5 stars because going through divorce and custody battles are nothing but exhausting, confusing and expensive. Mr. Starks is experienced, soooooo honest and provides realistic advice. He has helped me feel confident going to court and been honest about what I could be waisting my time on and guided me to get the results I needed. He expressed ways to help me save money and was honest at the beginning when I didn’t need to retain him and referred me to a custody specialist as my money was better spent with her at that time.
I don’t wish this process on anyone; however I would refer anyone to Don Starks for his guidance, honesty and efficiency; which is so terribly needed to anyone going through divorce or custody issues.

I would like to express my deep admiration for Don Starks as a very Honest, trust worthy and extremely highly qualified individual.
Our children as well as my ex wife, and my self had the misfortune to endure the terrible pain of going through a long bitter divorce a few years ago. I retained Don as my attorney, But also along the way made a friend who listened to me and was there to give me guidance when I felt like throwing in the towel and just giving up on life.
Until you go through something so devastating as a Divorce especially with children. You truly understand, appreciate the importance of some one with more than just a professional Degree… In my opinion Don Starks is one of best family law attorneys !!

Nobody wants to get divorced or suffer from any fighting situation. When a person is placed in these types of situations it takes a lot out of you. Recently I needed advice on a personal situation and I was lucky enough to have Don as a contact to be able to ask questions. He was more than willing to answer my questions without me having to «retain» him, which is so costly. He told me that what I needed did not need an attorney and how to go about taking care of my problem. I am so thankful that he was there for me in my time of need.
