I come here once a week and see Lisa for a manicure! She does a great job and gives great customer service! I give 4 stars because they are often busy and don’t hold true to appointments :/

This is my #1 nail shop go to in San Diego. I’m always served quick even if I’m just walking in without an appointment. The owner is super sweet! All the techs do great work and spend good time on me.

Found this salon on Unilocal,called and requested Tammy. Had an appointment within two hours! Tammy was ready when I got there, I showed her a picture of what I have been trying to get done and never could. She ripped the ugly old nails off that were thick enough to build a house with.
Tammy is awesome, she is very fast, yet a perfectionist paying great attention to detail. My nails came out EXACTLY how I wanted them!!! It has been about three weeks and they still look amazing, I have never had so many compliments on my nails by men.
Glad to have found this place, I will be back. I recommended Tammy to my daughter and she is also very happy with the work Tammy did for her too.

I’ve been here a few times and each experience has been consistent. I appreciate that it is in a strip mall, allowing for ample parking. They’ve done a nice job of creating a nail salon with a modern design and color scheme, which stands out from most salons around. They offer a large array of nail polishes to select from, and I find the prices to be reasonable. The only complaint, and a common complaint, is that the chairs are appealing to the eye, but they don’t recline or massage… something that is table stakes for nail salons. I hope the business considers updating the chairs at some point, in which case I’d update my review to a 5.
None the less, I really enjoy this salon and I am becoming a regular here.

The other day my best friend and I stopped by The Little Nail Shop. Since we’re visiting from Hawaii and going to the Beyonce concert we thought it would be a good idea to treat ourselves. Our first impressions of the place is how cute and cozy the shop is.
My best friend requested to get a pedicure and I wanted a full gel set. The nice lady who helped my best friend (can’t remember the name right now sorry!) with her pedicure did a great job and gave an amazing foot and lower leg massage.
I got paired with Diana. She was personable and did a great job. She took the time to make sure everything was the way I wanted and even gave her professional input.
Overall the price is amazing for the awesome service you receive. Thank you ladies, if we’re in San Diego again we will definitely be seeing the two of you again.

Stopped in to get a pedicure with my sister yesterday, and we were seated pretty promptly without an appointment. They said it would be a 20 minute wait, but we only waited probably around 5 minutes. The women that did our nails were very nice and friendly! They started by offering us something to drink like water or a mimosa (lol, totally would have taken them up on that if I wasn’t driving). There are 3 levels of pedicures they offer here, each with a little more involvement for a higher price. My sister and I decided on the middle level (deluxe pedicure — $ 35) which included the body scrub, oil, and leg massage. The only thing that was a potential issue with this nail shop seemed to be the parking, but we were lucky enough to park right out front at a meter. Overall, it was a very nice experience and we will definitely be back!

I picked this place because I saw it on Unilocal and it had cute décor! So if I’m paying the same price at other places, why not get your nails done somewhere cute too?! :)
Lisa, the sweet lady who did my nails was exceptional and did an amazing job at my nails. Can’t wait to come back! I’m glad I have found somewhere close by that I like since moving to mission valley from Chula Vista.

I wanted to try a new place and after reading reviews try this place. I had a fill, coffin shape, with gel polish. My shale was inconsistent some fingers look great others are very crooked. When I mentioned it the nail tech huffed… Filed a little and ultimately left it.
The polish was sloppy and I had a lot of color on my cuticles.
Then after 5 days a nail broke because fill was thin. It was hard to get in to have the repair. When the tech put the tip on it was crooked. I told her she got annoyed and proceeded to take it off and redo it.
I mentioned to her it was very thin she said no it’s ok.
I did not have a good experience at all.

Nancy T is the gel manicure queen at the little nail shop! I am a snob when it comes to my gel manicures and I am PUMPED to know there is a girl who can take care of my needs! I like this place, you gotta go a couple of times to find which nail tech you like. For 30 $ you can get a decent mani pedi.

I love this place! I’m a regular for a reason. Great colors, whether it’s gel or regular– always on time and friendly too!

First time ever getting Mani/​pedi. Nancy T did a fantastic job. Place was welcoming and service was great. Love being pampered. Was amazing!

Came in on a friday afternoon and I was accommodated immediately even as a walk in. Very chic and sassy, the ladies and gent were all friendly and professional. Got my teal inspired gel nails and regular pedicure for $ 45 +10 for the design so $ 55 was a bit pricey but I was very happy with the design and the service. A hidden gem for sure!

This rating is not for the service or the performance, but the price. When I called and asked how much a full set would be, I was told give or take $ 18 – 20 depending on the design. I went in and had a full set of acrylic nails and it wasn’t even nail art or anything, it was just plain gray for all nails. I just added matte top coat, and boom $ 35. I was completely taken aback. But unlike other places, this one has people helping that speaks English very well, so it’s easier to communicate what you want for your nails. I didn’t get a refund or anything though.

Amazing nails by Amy! I fell in love with my nails instantly. Amy took her time to make sure every nail was cut and shaped perfectly. Even past closing time, she worked slowly and carefully. I have definitely found my go-​to nail salon!

I’ve been here a few times already for a manicure and absolutely love this place. It’s a little nail shop (hence, their name ;)) that’s right off the freeway. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the price is very reasonable. I have always scheduled an appointment in the early am and never had to wait. Keep in mind that this is a tiny shop so there may be a wait time if you do come in while it’s crowded. Parking can be a slight problem since this place shares a lot with several other businesses, but I never found it to be a major issue.

This Little Nail Shop is the cutest charmer. The shop is fresh and modern. The décor is so princess-​like and the treatment is nothing short of royalty. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by everyone and not just a receptionist telling you to just sign in. If you have an appointment you are seen on time. If you don’t, the wait is never longer than a minute or two. They are very considerate of your time yet still provide prestige service.
I just had my nails done by Ms. Tammy for my wedding on March 19^th and I can honestly say everyone complimented them. She took her time and was very attentive to my likes or dislikes. My nails also inspired my bridesmaids to get their nails redone only one week after getting their nails done just to mimic the style & color.
Nancy did my pedicure. She is so sweet and fun to talk with while she gently cut my cuticles. She helped me picked a matching color to go with my nails. She took her time with my feet knowing I’ll be in heels all night for my wedding.

Total disregard for customers’ time. I come there regularly, and called in advance to make an appointment with Casper. They confirmed he was available and I said I could be there in 5 – 10 minutes, provided my name and headed over.
Then I arrive and they are clearly slammed. The girl asks what I need and I tell her I’m here for a mani with Casper. Now she says oh now he’s not available but you can see someone else.
Complete disrespect for my time and the entire reason someone calls in advance and makes an appointment.
Me and my daughters will not be coming back. Sure — they do a nice gel there, but nothing amazing.
There are a dozen other places in a 3 mile radius with the same service and same or less expensive prices. There is no reason to spend my money with them if they can’t even show the common courtesy to honor an appt time. BOO!

Irene and Tammy did my nails and the look and feel AMAZING!
Tammy got my hands prepared for Irene to paint, and Tammy have me a wonderful hand massage! It felt so nice– especially since I’m typing most of my day!
Irene paint my nails, and she did so with so much grace, patience, and was really making sure that nothing messed up! All my nails are painted completely with no paint on my skin! I asked her to do some designs and they look great!
I didn’t get gel– but it FEELS like gel! All for 20 bucks!
They should such tremendous service! I am definitely coming back here!!!

So I came in for a second visit with Tammy and I was not disappointed.
Tammy was incredibly quick. She removed my old acrylic nails, put on a brand new set, and painted my nails to the exact design I wanted, in about 1 ½ hours.
Although she was very quiet as well, i noticed that she was very detail oriented. There is absolutely no flaws in my nails and they are super smooth. And not to mention that they don’t feel fat and bulky with acrylic like my last visit, and that they feel natural.
I am pleased to say that I am beyond pleased with my nails right now.

They do have a pretty good selection of nail polish color.
They had a variety of OPI brand and Essie brand which i love!
They also have a variety of glitter colors as well.
Lots of bright colors, neon colors, and nudes as well.
And my new favorite, matte colors!

Add a design for $ 5. and gel for another $ 5.
