We just received our Maternity photos today from our photo shoot we had at La Jolla Shores a couple weeks ago. Very pleased about how they turned out! We had a great experience with Tomi. He was very patient and was great with our little guy! Definitely would recommend his services!

We had a photoshoot with Tomi and his crew at Balboa Park after our city hall wedding about 7 months ago (review long over due). We were extremely pleased with the entire experience, from their professionalism to the fun we had to the resulting photos!!! Everyone (Tomi and his crew composed of his mom and sister) made us feel very at ease and comfortable the entire time that it was easy for Tomi to capture our genuine emotions. Tomi’s direction and talent for photography really helped get great photos!!! We are so glad the Photo Crew made everything so easy, even getting the photos online. We love our pictures!!! Thanks Tomi and the Photo Crew for capturing such a special day of our lives, we will cherish our pictures for ever!!!

I booked Tomi for my wedding in San Diego. His prices were incredibly reasonable. Since I was coming form east cost we talked over massages and emails. He was really easy to talk to. We met month before wedding just to talk about few things and then again on wedding day.
I am more than satisfied. The photos look AMAZING!

I got a Groupon for a one-​hour photoshoot with Tomi that we did last Saturday, 10÷10÷15. I called to arrange a time and location and Tomi was really easy to talk to and accommodating about times. He even suggested we go to Elfin Forest, which was beautiful and perfect! I was already a fan just from that.
For the shoot, Tomi was super easy to work with and incredibly friendly. I’ve never done a photoshoot before and was pretty nervous about how it would go. Tomi put us at ease right away and suggested lots of poses and locations. It was over 100 degrees that day, too, and he was fine trekking around the mountainside with all his equipment. We told him we hike there a lot and the view from the top is great and he was willing to hike all the way up in that heat if we wanted shots from the top! I was so impressed with his dedication.
The groupon said we’d get 10 retouched photos back, but 2 days later (2 days, wow!), we got the photos and there were dozens and all available for download. And they look amazing!
His prices were incredibly reasonable (like jaw-​dropping-​ly reasonable), too. This guy was great and I look forward to working with him again in the future. Book him quick, y’all, before he realizes how much more he can charge!

Tomi is so awesome! I am really glad I found him! He did an amazing job photographing my two kids (5 years old and 3 months old). He was very professional, have great equipments, and is very flexible to cater to his clients’ needs. He was able to capture some amazing shots of my girls for me! Will definitely keep him in my contact list for my next event!

We didn’t know Tomi before the photo shoot but we had such a great experience! We had a group of 10 which included 4 kids. He was great in capturing the shots of 4 energetic and squirmy kiddos. He was willing to work hard to capture the tough shots at different angles. We were so happy with our beautiful photos at Old Poway Park!!! We will treasure these photos for many years to come. He was very prompt in returning my emails and got the digital pictures to us within just a few days. We definitely recommend Tomi and the photo crew for your family photos.

Tomi did a fantastic job! This was our first time hiring a photographer to take candid family photos. Tomi did a great job. We were all relaxed and Tomi captured some great shots of my family of 5. This was a miracle… Pictures stress me out like crazy! Trying to get the kids to smile all at the same time or look in the same direction… Let’s just say, Tomi was a huge success! We were thrilled with the pictures and can’t wait to get them printed.

I was looking for a photographer for my dad’s 95^th birthday party, which was a large catered, outdoor event (think: wedding reception). My photographer-​friends were out of town for the weekend and photography was not a large part of our party budget but I needed someone to take pictures. Tomi returned my email inquiry promptly, and when he gave me his price (per hour, per photographer) and said that I would receive the digital photo files to keep, I knew this was a perfect match!
We hired two photographers for three hours to shoot family group photos as well as candid shots throughout the party. They were even willing to go up on the roof of our house to capture the 95-​candle salute at dusk! We received over 300 wonderful shots of all of the fun, laughter, food, music, dancing, tributes, and the little touches — table settings, garden flowers, centerpieces. The crew arrived late, only because of a road-​closure due to a wildfire, but they stayed later in the evening to make up for it. Tomi and his crew were so friendly and professional and so easy to work with!
Tomi and his crew were also a great value for the cost, I presume because he is just starting his business and career as a professional photographer. Other photographers that I contacted were going to charge thousands of dollars — a far cry from what I could afford and what Tomi charged. Many photographers also require you to purchase photos individually and do not let you have the digital files. I think being able to have the digital files is important, especially if you want to print and share the pictures, and make photobooks, and I was delighted that Tomi provided them.
If you are in need of photography services, and are on a budget, I highly recommend Tomi and his crew! Hurry and hire him now, because he is a very talented young photographer who is going places, and I predict will someday soon will be in very high demand (and charging very high prices!) He’s really good!

Bought a groupon with the Photo Crew to use for my wife’s maternity photoshoot at La Jolla Shores. Tomi was on time and was very enthusiastic all throughout which made us comfortable. For the next hour or so he took around 400 pictures recommending some poses and incorporating our suggestions as well. He even let me take a few clicks of the beautiful sunset. 5 days later I get an email with the link to 50 – 60 stunning pictures that he had touched up. He even photoshopped 5 – 6 additional clicks that I requested. Overall a fantastic photoshoot with a great photographer. Highly recommend the Photo Crew and we will be sure to use them the next time we have an event.

We had a family vacation planned in San Diego with all of our daughters (5) and their families. It was to be a total of 10 children and 10 adults. I put out several requests for photographers in the area. I selected The Photo Crew based on their e: mail responses; price and Unilocal reviews although there were only a few. Once we got to San Diego, we had a family emergency and had to cancel our scheduled shoot. Tomi was so understanding and worked with us to find another time during the remaining days of our vacation.
We hired 2 photographers for 2 hours. I must admit I was a little nervous because they didn’t have years and years of professional experience. Once they arrived and we started our shoot, any anxiety went out the window. Tomi and his sister Jenna were so professional yet fun. They knew their stuff. I asked to take pictures at some specific locations and Tomi was willing to do so, but also let me know if the light would be bad or the angle wouldn’t work.
After the shoot was over, all of our adult children commented on how good and fun both photographers were to work with. (This is the 7^th time we have done this over the years, so they speak with some experience!!) Tomi and Jenna were also good with all the grand kids (ages 4 – 15) and patient.
A photo shoot can seem to go well, but «the proof is in the pudding», so to speak. I waited to receive my photos before posting my review. Tomi said that he would do a first cut of the photos (discard the clearly bad shots) and have them ready to download within a week. Today was exactly 1 week from our family photo shoot and what did I find in my e: mail inbox today? the link to download all my photos, just as promised!
My husband and I excitedly downloaded all 500 pictures and they were GREAT! The problem will be which ones to include in the family album!

Such a privileged to know someone who is so talented at what he does. I recently had a graduation party and asked Tomi if he could come and take pictures and do somewhat of a «photo booth» set up. He certainly did not disappoint! Everyone was fascinated with the pictures he was taking and how clear and high definition the pictures came out. If you are looking for a flexible, understanding, and overall great photographer, you should definitely consider getting Tomi!

I can’t say enough about Tomi and his photography. We booked him for our engagement session and I am so incredibly happy with his service and with our photos. Tomi was patient with me when I emailed and texted him multiple times with questions about our shoot. We brought props and our dog with us and he was so accommodating and really listened. I had a specific photo I wanted for our «Save The Date» and Tomi listened and helped make that photo a reality for us. He took the time to show me each photo during the shoot to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The turn around for the photos was incredible– we shot Saturday evening and I had the photos by Wednesday afternoon! Tomi takes the time to build a personalized portfolio for each client. The portfolio includes not only the photos from the shoot but black and white and sepia versions as well. The care that Tomi takes to listen to his clients and produce beautiful images, is not something you can find anywhere. Tomi’s assistant helped with posing and made sure each shot was perfect. I highly recommend Tomi and The Photo Crew for any photography needs. Our engagement photos will be prominently displayed throughout our home for years to come! I am so happy we chose him and The Photo Crew.

Tomi is awesome! He is extremely flexible, creative and has a very quick turnaround on his work. Our photos came out awesome, and he was dedicated to getting the perfect shot we were looking for. I’d definitely recommend Tomi and we will use him again.

Recently had Tomi take photos of me and was so pleased! He was professional and his talent as a photographer is gift. I am not photogenic and he captured the best pictures I have ever had taken. I highly recommend Tomi for all your photography!

I don’t even know where to begin. We had such a wonderful experience! Tomi was so professional but very easy going. He made us feel comfortable right away and kept us laughing the whole time. He was even showing us the shots as he was going to make sure we were getting what we wanted. My husband mentioned he was so impressed that Tomi wanted to make sure he got «the perfect shot.» He even got into the ocean with his sneakers and got soaked up to his knees for us! The only problem now is that we can’t decide on what photos to print for our walls because they all came out incredible. He even made our crying 1 year old look happy. His mom and sister also came to help out. They are simply adorable to say the least and helped keep our little guy happy so we could get some couple photos. His prices were also very reasonable. Every time we make a trip to San Diego we will be calling Tomi for some more family photos.

My family and I had a great experience with Tomi and his mother. We were two hours late because of car trouble, but we were still greeted with a smile. He was energetic and really gave us a great experience.

I am stunned at the awesome results from my photoshoot with Tomi of The Photo Crew!!!
After seeing a FB blurb with some of his recent portrait shots that looked really good, I contacted Tomi to request some headshots for my webpage. It was quick and easy to get scheduled, and the hourly sitting fee was very reasonable.
Tomi suggested an outdoor location at Balboa Park so we met there on the day of the shoot. (4÷10÷15).
He was prompt, brought an assistant and all of the lights/​shades/​tripods he would need, in addition to his great camera and photographer’s eye!
Tomi is very nice and very easygoing, I felt comfortable following his directions on posing and felt relaxed throughout the process. After just a matter of minutes, he had the first few shots I thought would work really well… I was so surprised and confident after that because I generally don’t like my pictures, even though they are a necessity nowadays.
We relocated to a beautiful rose garden for some additional shots, and in all, we got about a dozen suitable shots in just one hour! I could hardly believe it, I would have thought it would take a few hours and a ton of photoshopping. But with his knowledge of lighting and camera angles, he created the perfect shots I can be so proud to use on my professional website. He even captured some personality too, because I was so comfortable with him :)
My proofs were up on the website that same night and my friends and family are equally impressed. Thanks, Tomi!!!
